Dark Colony was pretty popular in Brazil thanks to a magazine called PC Gamer, I played it a lot back in the day, it's pretty good for a fisher price starcraft. There's a LOT of great cutscenes.
I remember you could easily mod the game by just editing some text files. There was also some secret units you could gather by using your resource miners on strange symbols on the ground, but I don't remember if that's multiplayer only.
When I heard that Rev beat the pooh game, my first thought was "wait. it can be beaten?"

That BEST GAMES CD also has a section with trivia about villains (entirely in portuguese), using the most crusty jpegs from the 90s. The CDs probably need fullscreen and 16 bit color mode, which is why they got all corrupted until Jobel changed the settings.

Shareware was on its last legs when XP released, and was basically 100% dead by the time Vista came out. I'd love for Joel to do some goofyness with 2000's Windows (not Windows 2000) but you can't really call it a Shareware Madness if there's no shareware.

I had a demo disc of Warwind 1 and, in classic 90's fashion, it was a very novel and interesting game that predated Starcraft by several years, not to mention Warcraft III, but was executed in an extremely confusing, cryptic and difficult manner.
