Gaijin really has creative ideas for april fools, all of them could be standalone games
I remember first playing the game during the silent thunder event, I didn’t know it was an event but really loved the submarine mode, kept searching for that game for some time after because I couldn’t find the “submarine battle game”. Started playing war thunder again in like 2019 completely unaware that that was the “submarine battle game”
I played for some years without premiums and reached like 6.7 ground and air.
Now I’ve reached top tier ground, heli and almost the top of air too in the US tech tree.
And there are people who have played for even longer than that 😮

I joined War Thunder in 2013 and every April Fools event was amazing and fun as hell. I wish Gaijin for recreate them so I can play those events once more.

I only wish war thunder recreated all the events in one day and left them to be replayable every new date, like every newyear or every christmass, i missed the best events, the old ones, and i want to get the german vehicles from before the Rank IX event, those which are now lost forever
War Thunder makes april fools events just like minecraft, may be silly and may be for a day but the work that is put into it is so good it could be a good alternative mode for the game
I think every single april fools event can be a separate game, theyre awesome

Ever since Space Thunder, I've wanted a full game like it, but with huge starships and realistic damage like the event, not a hp based game. I think that could be so fun.
Edit: when I say realistic damage, I don't mean components that fall off when they run out of HP (there's already a bunch), I mean War Thunder style, actually somewhat realistic damage
Honestly I think gijian could do it. Also maybe a mode with futuristic armored vehicles yk
@@harperco4975 Yeah, it would also be cool if you could continue to fight even if parts of your ship have been completely blown off because of airlocks and the pure size of them. At least until something that completely disables the ship is done, like the destruction of the reactor, killing all the crew, or hitting something like ammo that chain explodes
@@kevinwestfall7030 good point, as long as it doesn't hit anything vital like the bridge or FTL(assuming they can achieve FTL) and such this would be Hella sick It would remind me of how the Orville fight if you ever watched the show its good but weapons and also would there be a shield system..

Space Thunder and Worm Thunder are the most favorite of mine. Space Thunder was very unique with a awesome soundtrack, while Worm Thunder had a lot of variations of vehicles (compared to other 1st april events) and was fun by being unbalanced, I still remember how I hided behind that massive building where only Q-ADs could access.
Mobile Infantry is literally just Armored Core and I'm in for it

I thought mobile infantry was a new update, right after it released I just ended up to stop playing and focus on other things 💀💀💀

I don't even play Warthunder and this video makes me emotional. This makes me think that Warthunder might have the best April Fools events in a game I've ever seen. The events are unique, interesting, and fun for a game that started off as an air combat simulator.

I remeber being on my old Mac in 2013 and my friends on team speak were telling me about this cool game with a weird flying pony april fools event. Over a decade later, and more money than I'll admit to spending, it brings a tear thinking of all the memories this game brought for our group.

The april fools events are literally better and harder to do than 99% of their updates

Children of Arachis was both insanely fun and insanely bullshit. Getting sniped from above the entire match or destroyed by a sonic wave that just BARELY grazed you was a different flavor of annoying.

The April Fools events are also a really fun way to beta test new mechanics. Many of these introduced some new mechanic to the game after they ended
