      @@lvpn0140Let's be real. There's 30+ year old sketchily built and maintained planes still flying today older than that Embraer that have way worse deferred maintenance. Not saying the aircraft was in perfect shape but it's definitely more than suspicious enough to warrant a proper investigation.
      Especially when it's an aircraft with a flawless safety record until now. You'd have to be pushing that planes airframe WAY past its design limits for that to ever happen, and even then a mid air stall is still more likely, a wing breaking off mid flight is extremely far fetched and suspicious. Those wings are WAY stronger than they look and can support the weight of a car.

    According to local residents, they heard a loud explosion on the ground, sounded like a missile fired off. Flight data showed the plane was cruising at 28,000 ft, then suddenly shot up to 30,000 ft. before electronic transmission stop. The pilot sensed a missile was targeting the plane, attempted to escape the attack by raising to higher altitude, but was shot down on its way up.

    • @raider968
      @raider968 Před 9 měsíci +2

      You're thinking way too deeply about this and attributing motives to places where there may not be any. Occam's razor says that the simplest explanation is often the correct explanation.
      The small explosion is due to an anti-air missile. Anti-aircraft missiles must travel at supersonic speeds in order to successfully intercept an enemy aircraft. Due to this requirement, the payloads these missiles can carry are generally extremely limited in size. This would be terrible for say an artillery shell (where explosion size matters), but against aircraft (which are mostly made of aluminium/composites), you only need a small explosion to spread shrapnel in the air to bring down a plane.
      There are already preliminary reports that say the fuselage was littered with shrapnel holes, which are typical for anti-air missiles.

      @raider968 Před 9 měsíci +1

      @@ayugoslav5554 You're saying that as if that's a large payload lol.
      The standard BUK missile (the most common Russian air defence system, hence probably used here) has a payload of 19kg.
      For comparison, the HIMARS GMLRS rocket carries a payload of 95 - 120kg (depending on the warhead). Himars payloads are considered quite standard, and Ukraine is pushing for more powerful weapons like the JDAM which can up 900kg of explosives.
      The point of my comment was to point out that AA missiles generally have small payloads and rely on shrapnel as opposed to a big explosion.

In the very first part of the video you can see to the left side of the screen a partial missile trail. And in the same frame you can see the aircraft falling straight down while making slow spirals due to damaged/missing aerodynamic surfaces. Most likely the tail section is gone due to an infrared seeking missile hitting the aircraft in the tail section area where the engines are generating the strongest IR signature. Maybe the Wagner mercs will now join Ukraine as retaliation for their boss being murdered...

      it's not a trail, it's the site of the explosion.
      3 major current versions
      1. Putin's revenge, low probability. Too public, loud and complex. Shoot down a plane over the territory of the Russian Federation? too many questions. I think Prigozhin would simply disappear into Africa or die of a heart attack if Putin had such a goal.
      2. The saboteurs are Ukrainians, a significant probability - about a month ago they voiced Prigozhin as the target of their sabotage squads.
      3. Performance, Prigozhin has already died in a plane crash in 2019. This is indirectly confirmed by Prigozhin's second plane - circling over Moscow after the explosion and then landing either in Moscow or St. Petersburg after landing - passengers know absolutely nothing about it.
