Sevylor Adventure plus Inflatable kayak / canoe

- Went out to recce some woods along a canal for a wild camp useing a sevylor Adventure plus inflatable boat, showing in use and pack away process.Alas the trip was a waste with regards to the woods :(
i got one of these a couple of years ago and absolutely love it 😆 great video it certanly encoraged me to go out and explore our beutiful waterways 👍

They look like stone age log canoes but they handle like a dream, got a sevylor adventure and never looked back ;-)

Yeah its a nice bit of kit, wood camp via river/canal access on my plans for a future day/night out! Can't wait :)

Hi. I'm thinking of getting an inflatable kayak, and have stumbled across your video. I was torn whether or not to go for the adventure plus, as it would be great to take my wife and toddler out in, but was concerned it would be too big for solo paddling... You don't seem to struggle though... Was it manageable when paddling alone?

Great video, made me go out and buy one - and loving it! One question though, what size paddle do you use solo? I bought the split sevy one and I feel it's a little short with the high walls of the kayak. Any thoughts/suggestions?

Wild Camper thanks for the quick response. I'll look at something a little longer. It says the combine one is 2.15 metres so will see if I can get 2.40 (think was the next size).
I've just taken her out for her maiden voyage and she was great. The only thing I can't fathom is the bloody valves on the seats?!? They don't seem to hold the air and deflate as soon as you pull out the pump? Managed to get them part inflated after a bit of a faff but mine (back) deflated whilst we were out! I've ordered a seat like the one you showed in the video. Other than that I was really impressed.
Steve Mountford when you inflate them before removing pump push them in so they are flat against the surface this stops air escaping then you can pop the cap on. but yes they are a very weak point of the boat!
Do you think it would be okay with a dog on? Or do you think the claws Would go through the material?
The sides would be fine it's got a heavy canvas type cover over the inflatable parts. The floor is a separate inflatable mattress style which does not have any cover . I have had a German shepherd puppy in there with no issues. I reckon if a dog was to hop on and be sat it would be fine. If it's going to scratch about or bite the floor then maybe an issue!

Nice video there my friend! Where abouts in the UK are you? I am planning a paddle and camping trip on the Great Ouse, found a great put in place with parking at the waters edge!
This was taken in Surrey. Parking near water is good! Saves wasting energy you need for all that paddeling!
Excellent video. Could I ask if you think it's possible to do away with the seats and paddle while kneeling? I also wonder if you have any thoughts on how robust the underside is? Many thanks.
I guess you could do that of you wanted to.all seats are removable. As for the underside its strong as such but you have to be aware of what you may go over (barbed wire on a post say) compared with a solid hull. Stronger then u might think.

Hi, could you possibly tell me how wide the inside of this kayak is at the middle seat? I am planning on putting my camping gear where the seat should go however don't want to buy too big. Thanks
+Goara285 she is all packed away at the moment but approx 60-70 cm of space on the width.

Check video at 5.30 in give you an idea of the folded size . I guess if you had the right sized panniers it would. I am not a motorbike person so sorry not to sure! Atb Rob
