I lived in Scotland for five years, and it's scenery like this that makes me yearn for it again quite honestly- it really is that beautiful.

Their London home is Kensington Palace but they also have a cottage on the Balmoral Estate as well as access to Birkhall [Charles and Camilla's Scottish retreat].

No it technically makes her British. Neither England or Scotland are sovereign states, and have ceased to be so since the Acts of Union (1707). Whether born in Scotland or England, we are all British.

The place of birth of the late QM is disputed and even the official monarchy site fails to give a name.
It is generally accepted the birth was either in London or in Hitchin but definately not Glamis.

You have to wonder what the Scots feel about the plaid play palace of Victoria, Edward, etc--its sort of like conquering a country then putting a manor house of the conquerors on it---well, they have moved on too, I guess--still a gorgeous baronial recreation....

The late Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother and her daughther, the late Princess Margaret Rose, were both born in Glamis Castle( the QM's family estate) in Scotland.
    The commentator was wrong .

Pity the Queen will have to sell it after Scottish independence because for security reasons go one Scots another own gold like your football team.
