But it creates the question - How did "Lionmaker" go from 800,000 subscribers in 2018, to a 50% dislike ratio in recent times? This video will cover the rise and downfall of LionMaker between the years of 2013 and 2020.

Stumbled on this channel yesterday and can’t get enough of it. Most of these growth and fall have a pattern. And it just shows how flawed we are as humans. I wish I could explain the positive psychological effect it’s had on me. But I can’t so I’ll just say thank you for this amazing content.

The hell? I use to watch lionmaker when I was a kid. I forgot about him since my parents said I couldn't watch minecraft anymore a while back in 2014-15 ish. They told me it was bad and stuff so I stopped. And I see this video on my reccommended and my face is like "Ohh I remember that nice dude." He's a terrible person it's good that I learned. I am truely disgusted.

Lionmaker was my favorite CZcamsr as a kid. He was the real reason I got into CZcams in the first place. I made my CZcams account just to subscribe to him. He wasn’t the MOST popular Minecraft CZcamsr, but he was fun and his videos always made my day. When he disappeared I was really curious as to what happened to him. I remember searching “What happened to Lionmaker” and finding basically no results at the time. Over a year later I had moved on, but one day I was curious again as to what happened to him so I looked it up and found out what had all happened. I cried like a baby that day and couldn’t shake the feeling that the first CZcamsr I looked up to turned out to be a horrible person. Still hurts to this day, but hasn’t changed my passion for CZcams.
This guy was my childhood used to watch all his videos everyday for like 2 years they always made me happy and smile not to mention for me they appeared to be super high quality. When I noticed he stop posting and then someone took over I cried then forgot about him.

I first watched his videos back in 2015 and instantly became a public subscriber. I would treat his hide and seek videos like a football game and even create hide and seek maps in hopes that he would play them. But then he completely disappeared, leaving a very long apology video. It took a while for me to fully accept that he wasn’t like his counterpart on the screen. His “body in your face” gags now feel wrong and depressing. I tried watching him again after he returned, but hearing his voice felt different to me.
I saw one of his very last livestreams before he permanently disappeared. He was playing Red Dead Redemption 2 and was saying the N word while drunk. It was that moment where I lost hope for him before he passed out on his bed and left the stream running. I stayed because I was having a fun chat with the live chat.
This is the first time I've heard of this person, yet I was really engaged in the story. Well done!

I think a reason for his uprise following the thirteen-year-old girl incident was due to the fact that people didn't want to believe. People, no kids, didn't want to believe a CZcamsr, someone who they watched every day, who elicited tons of positive emotions from them, could have done such a thing. It was so different from the persona the fans had in their heads, the persona of a guy who made videos for fun, a guy who loved Minecraft, and a guy who appreciated his fans and support. But in reality, that wasn't the case. What a world we live in huh?

*Sad True Story:* I loved Minecraft videos growing up and loved Minecraft content creators. All my friends would watch bigger creators like Stampy or DanTDM, but I watched LionMaker. He wasn’t as famous or successful, but for some reason I always found his videos entertaining and they made me laugh. In fact he was the first CZcamsr I had ever subscribed to when I first made my CZcams Account. I was a massive fan of his growing up and used to think he was the coolest guy ever and wanted to be just liked him. Over the course of a year I saw him slowly change and he almost seemed more and more depressed in his later videos. I remember being worried about him. He then suddenly disappeared completely and Paige took over his channel without any explanation which confused me and others all the more. I tried to research what happened to him, but at the time there was nothing about it. I eventually stopped watching him and his channel, but a few years later I got curious and randomly decided to try again and look up what happened to him. I saw that there was now suddenly an endless amount of information discussing it which had somehow alluded me. I learned the real reason why he disappeared and that he went to prison and when I searched why my stomach turned and my heart sank. The more research I did, the more sick I got when learning about his secret relationship with Paige who I had always known as just his friend *”Paige the Panda.”* I was absolutely gutted learning the truth about his other victims and all the terrible perverted stuff he had done to minors and it absolutely ruined the rest of my day and I’m not lying when I say that I cried actual tears. Despite the fact that I no longer watched him and that he was just a Minecraft CZcamsr from my childhood, it was just the fact of knowing that he was the first creator I ever became a fan of and who really got me into Minecraft and CZcams in the first place which traumatized me. I do still love Minecraft and CZcams, but I will never forgive LionMaker for what he did to his all victims and to the people who looked up to him and trusted him. Be careful out there guys, the internet truly can be a dangerous place where predators can hide.

I used to watch his videos when I was younger and I remember when a lot of this stuff came out. I didn’t know about a good bit of it, I just knew he was in a relationship with Paige. I was so young that I didn’t really realize how serious it was. I didn’t really think of his as a pedo or a bad person because I was so naive and young. Looking back on it now I wish I knew how serious it was. I hope Paige is doing well currently.

I watched Lionmaker when he first began when I was still under the age of 7, I'd watch his videos but after he became populaur I kinda just fell out of watching him and onto other things. I decided an hour ago I wanted to know what had happened to my childhood mcyt and I couldn't find his channel and saw all this stuff.
So by falling out of his viewers I ended up avoiding all this stuff and I'm honestly so surprised at all of it, I never thought he was like that but I'm grateful I fell out otherwise I would been tainted by the world at a young age.

Maybe you want to cover Wispen. He was a Pixelmon (Minecraft mod) CZcamsr who was in a relationship with a 15 year old. The ex-partner came out with claims of pedophilia on his end, which...no, it's a minor, but the situation was complicated since he was from the US and she was from the UK. After the file went public he decided (well, it's not known if intentional but I think it was ruled a suicide) to run his car into a tree and died. Another girl was 12 years old but IIRC she claimed to be older.
I am not sure if this is worth your time, especially given how old it is (I think 2020), but maybe you can dig out some stuff about the entire thing since little was known, pretty much only one side. Which doesn't mean that I think there is really another side, but half the story is not a full story

Okay, I’ve completely stopped supporting Lee and I never will again, but he was never a paedophile. He was 16 at the time of everything, and both women were over 18. I’m not excusing it AT ALL, sexual assault is NEVER okay and he was old enough to know EXACTLY what he was doing, but there was some definite misinformation thrown around (mainly by Keem)

Yeah, I remember a few months where it was just her. When I found out about the shit he had done, I left the channel behind and I have not looked back since. Sucks, though. He was a huge part of my childhood.
