I'm buying this tv I can't wait I saw this tv in person and it was amazing it's a jaw dropper
How does it compare to oleds
I don’t live in the USA but it’s wonderful that they have great places like this to get TVs not just big box store. It’s the passion and knowledge of guys like this.
Very True!
Unfortunately they are few and far between here in the US as well. Atleast where I'm at.
Your video quality is sublime man. Great job on the coverage man!
Never had VRR when gaming and never once said “I wish this game had VRR”.
Wow thanks for this video. Your camera is awesome :)
2 humbled enthusiasts.. 🥰
I love your channel so much. I love it that Sony listened to your suggestions for the tv.
Thanks 🙏🏾
X95K vs QN90B!!! I can’t wait for a review from these two 75” or “85” inch tvs to see who’s better!!
There’s a QN95B out now even better
@@Niles-Guy i thought picture qualities between 90 and 95 series are the same?
ain't gonna lie TV looks amazing
Wow that’s what mini led can do??? Now I’m curious about the z9k
Are you guys allowed to demonstrate the TV in Game Mode with and without VRR enabled?
I'm unsure if i will get this or the a95k in 65 inch
Is the display glossy or typical matt finish like old lcd tvs?
How many “zones” or mini leds does the 85 inch have? I’m trying to find it but can’t find that anywhere. Can you provide the # of zones by size I’d possible? Thanks 🙏🏼
hello friend congratulations I hope you review the a95k and z9k the same way you did this review
My next tv cmon black Friday
😁😁
Hey Cody, just a reminder that you probably set the video to be private inadvertently. Because I it is not accessible from the notifications' window. Best regards. :)
yes, but it's still no oled.... after my samsung s95b qd-oled.... I don't think I can go back to lcd
Great video!... I heard a90j was also "3D" from Andrew Robinson.... is the x95k more 3D? Is LCD better than OLED for 3D?
3d issnt supported since 2017 i think. no 3d tvs are made anymore
Are the benefits of HDR tone mapping in game mode without VRR? I don't really need VRR...
Yes. I don’t care about VRR either so me and you are all good for game mode. You will have all the benefits of HDR tone mapping and the local dimming “backlight master drive” etc as long as you keep VRR off which I will be keeping off regardless.
Dope
Thanks!
Any comment on the Black & Gray Uniformity on these X95K televisions?
I didn’t look for it sorry. I focused on haloing on/around black content.
I'm hyped for LED again. Can't wait to see the Z9K!
It’s been delayed :/
Sony just gave us an update on their very first Z9K allocation/shipment will be shipped to our store by the end of this month!
Is this LCD? Incredible! When are we expecting the 55 inches?
You won’t, 65, 75 and 85” only
So 65” gonna worth it? Because I’m worried to buy the a80k you know the reason is the burn in panel and this tv looks like a good choice for long term, for movies/series and some games
My local mom and pop store said with all the transitions and cutscenes for most games, this is pretty minimal. And the time you’d actually have to put in on a single game would have to be excessive.
Also the tech to reduce this from happening is quite good, there’s no need to have it so bright you’re scorching your eyeballs.
Also the store owner told me sony was great with not having any burn in, but that he gets many panels from LG with the issue.
But I am down to this set and the a80k. I’ve played my friends ps5 on his and it looks light years better than my x900e local dimming set, picture is somehow way more detailed and sharper, and it can get uncomfortably bright. Inpuag is noticeably better than my tv. 120htz is like adding the soap opera effect to your games. Not really cinematic but I guess some people like it, even 40htz is too smooth.
This or 85” Z9J??
So which is the absolute best tv? Samsung oled, Sony QD oled, or z9k?
😂 Great question! Not sure yet because the Sony QD OLED isn't out yet but I'm guessing it will be the TV to beat this year.
Out of the box Sony processing is really really good so if all these TVs were placed in Movie or Filmmaker Mode I assume the Sony QD OLED would be #1 but we'll have to wait and see!
So should I go with what Robert says or Quantum TV because they're polls apart on there TV reviews
It all depends on what you're looking for but a simple answer is................If you desire the deepest blacks go for the QD OLED but if you want brighter specular highlights when viewing HDR content go for the MiniLED.
Lol. Quantum is a hack.
A beaut of a TV, it’s a shame VRR disables local dimming but that won’t stop me buying it.
😁😁😁
Now all Sony's led-mini led tv have VRR with local dimming😁
@@santigullotta8736 I know 😊👌🏻
VRR disables local dimming on the Sony X95K ..I hope Sony changes this with an Update. I want to play VRR with the Best Picture Quality. The TV would then be Perfect!
It's a hardware issue and can't be solved with an update.
@@lesenipingvin This is really stupid! So I will not buy the Sony X95K unfortunately. Do you know if the A95K has the same Problem?
@@sekiro2936 A95K is QD Oled display so it doesn't need local dimming because it doesn't have blooming in the first place. There is a risk of burn in and will probably happen if you play games with a lot of static elements.
@@lesenipingvin Thanks for your Help! Is the burn in Risk not lower with a QD Oled compared to an Oled?
@@lesenipingvinoof. This comment didn't age well. 😂
torn between x95k 75" and a95k 65"
Same here
I have the exact same problem. I think the day to day consumer (like me) will not be able to tell the difference if the X95K is put next to say the A90J. I have a 55” LG OLED and since I’ve moved to a bigger house the 55” looks so small so I would like to get a larger TV and a Sony brand. 75" is just perfect for my living room
I have been for the longest time aswell. But i will go with everyone's advice: size trumps picture quality. It's like Classy said in his tv size video.. size you will see in 100% of the content you watch. Picture quality (especially between these 2 tv's) can only really be seen in select movie scenes and even then you would have to be looking for it..
Good luck on your decision :).
My situation too!
I would go for the 75" X95K .
Boy, these guys are working overdrive promoting Robert's business/shop. Nonetheless, this Sony Mini LED looks better than Samsung's offerings just ashame that LD doesn't work in its game mode.
Slight correction; LD works perfectly in Game mode, but not if VRR is also activated. This should be one of the best looking Game modes on an LCD TV yet.

Sony X95K vs Sony A95K.
Something I can't afford
I was REALLY looking forward to this TV until I learned you can't enable VRR and local dimming at the same time. I want a new TV for the gaming features, but not at the expense of picture quality. If it can't do both, it's much less appealing to me.
I heard this was very recently fixed with update V6.5929
@@HumblePeon2 I saw that too, and I got excited, but now it turns out you have to choose between Dolby Vision and VRR for each HDMI input. This still adds an unfortunate logistical challenge for me, but it’s one I can work around.
At 4:09 there is a lot of glow.
???
Never judge a display from a video only in person.
Glow?? I see NO glow
@@gbej1 Interesting, I can see it clearly on my monitor.
In person you do not see the glow. It is occasionally you can see very very minimal glow around bright objects that are on a dark background and you are viewing in very low ambient light conditions. But you have to be looking hard to see the very minimal glow.
He said not for gaming because you will lose hdr
NO Local dimming with VRR = DEAD on arrival imo, VRR is a must have for future ps5/xbox games, without local dimming, the tv looks like garbage!
Now all Sony's led-miniled have VRR with local dimming
@@santigullotta8736 since when? Not the X95K?
Sony another year loss with Gamers, they’re not listening to all the right people………
If you value great customer service you will not purchase anything from Value Electronics.
Please call me so we can discuss your issue.
No local dimming with VRR on.
Sony👎, see you in 2023 then🤷♂️
Now all Sony's miniled- led have VRR with local dimming
