    What Inspires me the most is photographers like you. Your not afraid to put everything out there to help other photographers. What I struggle with most is post production. And, of course being able to convince my husband that I really need some of this equipment!

    Looks like a nice bag with plenty of room for a variety of scenarios. I am inspired by the every day photographer. Seeing another photographer's work motivates me to create beautiful imagery. The biggest challenge I currently face is deciding what gear to take with me and what to leave at home. I often want to take everything because I like experimenting out in the field.

    As a photographer, what inspires me the most is finding the right moment and catch it forever.

    @travis harris photography, what inspires me... EVERYDAY LIFE. Being able to see what this amazing world has to offer from the most simplistic to the most complexed and turn them into an image that has emotion which people can connect with.
    My biggest struggle is over thinking a photoshoot, trying to pack everything into one shot.
    thank you for making these videos!. Your videos are informative, inspirational and fun to watch. Keep making them and ill keep watch them :)

    This bag is just simply amazing. I take inspiration from other photographers, their techniques and knowledge. The most challenging is right now to fit everything in. I need to learn say no.

    Thank you Travis. I just got the bag and I love it. I had real problem finding a good bag that will fit everything I need into it. Some where not big enough, others not comfortable enough and others not portable enough. This is it. Love it. Next step B10 :) Fits perfectly My Canon R with grip, 28-70 f/2 (and it's a big heavy lens), 50 1.2 and soon my 85 1.2. and other things. Once again thanks for advice and I definitely recommend this bag.

    It's people like you, Jerry Ghionis and Sal Cincotta getting extremely busy and making amazing images for your clients to cherish forever that really makes want to do the same and to try to become an amazing photographer myself.
    I really struggle getting enough clients. I have no budget to advertise due to having a family, mortgage etc. I've tried going to wedding venues but all have a list longer that your arm trying to also be photographers at each venue. It's just so frustrating for me to get where I would like to be.
    Good luck in the future. Love your work and your videos. Great inspiration to me and wish I had the money to come to America to meet up with you at some stage. Take care. Richard

    Music, movies, books, and other art inspire me in my photography. I love taking a feeling I’ve gotten from one art form and using that as inspiration for creating something new in another.
    My biggest struggle, hmmm. Perhaps it’s knowing how to get through editing/post-processing more quickly for jobs that maybe don’t require perfection. I have a tendency to spend too long editing each image I deliver to clients rather than finding that point where it’s “good enough”.

    Got the same bag (build quality is GREAT). I keep checking if it's the same bag (it is :) ). Got it to travel with the B10s and my Z6. I can't come close to getting anywhere near the gear you've got in yours and I started by simply following your layout and kit going into the bag. My bag clearly shrank in the wash losing width, by some! :)

    If you are gonna talk about the Think Tank Streetwalker HD, I would love it if you could include some thoughts about a Streetwalker Pro V2.0 or Streetwalker V2.0 Rolling backpack as a possible upgrade...or why you wouldn’t make such an upgrade.

    Are you a chemist or what? Lol can't you just say, water? Sorry I'm not a native English speaker, may be you guys like to use H2O over water in a bag review. Sound sooooo fancy! So professional! Hahaha

    How are you liking the bag for b10’s I purchased two b10”s separately and I’m thinking of a wha to transport them together. I’ve had a think tank streetwalker for several years and I love it. It’s great when I was traveling by air. If you don’t want the profoto backpack I’ll take it? 😁😁.

  • @lifelineglobal
    @lifelineglobal Před 5 lety +1

    My problem is not the size of the bag, but the weight. How much does your bag weigh when packed? Some airlines have made me take items out because my ThinkTank bag weighed too much (and its not even a roller bag). Have you had this issue?

    • @travisharrisphotography
      @travisharrisphotography  Před 5 lety

      22lbs fully loaded. I agree this is an important issue. For example in 2 weeks we are shooting fashion in Paris, and air France had a 25lb limit for carry on. So, thankfully I am in the clear.

    Travis, I love Think Tank and have 3 of their bags. I just got the Profoto B10 Duo kit so this video was timely. Question, why the 30L and not the 40L?

    • @travisharrisphotography
      @travisharrisphotography  Před 5 lety +1

      Thanks so much! The 30L is much smaller vs. the 40L, and when it comes to travel smaller is best. Having a big bag "to fit it all" is fine for local stuff.. but, when your on planes, in and out of TSA etc.. smaller is key. The 30L is perfect.

    Hey Travis,
    I started photography 4 years ago with 14 Years. I got quite fast into event photography, after a while also weddings. I love to make my couples and models happy, when they finally get the pictures. Too achieve that, I should be contented too, but for me it’s quite hard to be happy with my final images. Did you experienced something like that too?
    Best wishes Moritz from Germany

    Travis will the B10s fit upright (versus laid down on their sides) in this bag? I use a Manfrotto Pro 50 roller because the B10s will fit standing up. Even better economy. It would be cool if they'd do the same in the TT backpack.

    • @travisharrisphotography
      @travisharrisphotography  Před 5 lety

      Hey Greg! It's possible yes, but.... For me it's a no go. The problem for me is that it puts pressure on the rear control panel and I think it's best to have them lay down, so that when the bag is closed, and gravity is pushing the rest of the gear down its not on the controls or front element. That's all.

    • @bankersbanker7301
      @bankersbanker7301 Před 5 lety

      Thanks! FYI, I picked up two extra caps and put them over the controls on each of my B10s so the front and back are capped.

    You go to a pro-shooting with just one body? What if it gets damaged? You dash to the shops to buy another one?

    • @travisharrisphotography
      @travisharrisphotography  Před 5 lety +1

      Hey, thanks for the comment. So, for this bag it's for location shoots. Engagement sessions, styled shoots, etc. For the things that are absolutely my mission critical and can't be redone (weddings, or a big budget commerical gig) then I use a roller where I carry more gear. Like I was saying in the video, the project dictates the bag I use, and this is why I have 9 bags now lol. I like to travel light, and for most things I'm okay with one body. If your not, then you can replace one of the items (such as where I have the two gel holders) with another body. It will fit fine.

    • @dimitristsagdis7340
      @dimitristsagdis7340 Před 5 lety +1

      Tnx, I always travel with 2 bodies; just seemed strange that a pro wouldn't :-)) know what you mean about bags; I have 6 myself and flirted with a couple more (but I had to return the 2 to the OEM under guarantee as they turned out to be no good). I'm no fun boy of any bag-Co and I buy from the top brands in the industry whatever fits me best. Still I haven't found one to be ideal for anything yet :-))) Glad to see you found yours. I'm still hopeful.

    • @travisharrisphotography
      @travisharrisphotography  Před 5 lety

      @@dimitristsagdis7340 Yeah, lol I know what you mean. It can be so hard to get the right setup! I think for the Nevada trip I will put the CTO gels in my checked luggage, and then fill that big space with another body (we are going to be shooting video too) so this can be that camera, and will serve as backup. Yeah when it comes to gear, bags, and what to bring its such a personal choice based on your own experience and thoughts.

    • @gevalddd
      @gevalddd Před 5 lety

      Not only just 1 body, but also a body with a single card slot... 😬 maybe it fine for a workshop or even an engagement session... aren’t you scared to use it on a real wedding?

    • @travisharrisphotography
      @travisharrisphotography  Před 5 lety +1

      @@gevalddd It's not ideal for a wedding. You are correct. However I have found a workaround to this in my other EOS R videos. Take a look on my channel, and you can see how I deal with that very thing. After 6 year lugging the 1DX around at weddings.. I has to take a break. It's just too heavy, and I am not switching to Sony. The EOS R is amazing, and the images are so nice better than my 1DX. Canon has a pro model on the way, and this R is a temp camera until that happens. Check out my Auto transfer video to see my creative workaround :-)

    Hi Travis, great video and I too am a Think Tank advocate. I am impressed with the Mindshift bags and already own a Streetwalker HD so I am looking forward to your next video that combines the two together. As a wedding and portrait photographer, my biggest challenge currently is breaking out my current price bracket and reaching a more affluent audience. I feel as if we all start with the budget clients and they are great in the beginning but as we improve our skills and feel as if our work is good enough, then we want that higher end client that is willing to pay for great quality work. I know branding has a lot to do with it, but I am curious to see if there is something else that has elevated your business to the next level and also when did you feel as if you were ready for the next level. @jameskorinphotography

    Hey Travis, Good overview on this bag, I too am trying to get my gear down to 2 bags total. And to answer the question on what inspires me, I do mainly weddings and portraits now and honestly when i was younger I never liked interacting with too many people but after a friend of mine got me doing event photography I realised that people aren't as bad or different as i thought and now I love meeting people from all over the world that come to my island of jamaica for their weddings and of course my fellow locals. Now my biggest challenge is trying to grow my brand and the fear of what if it does grow, will I be able to handle it full time and quit my day job? How did you do it? My IG@dchristiephoto
