Hi Nopsolo, 31 inch is 79 cm... I measure a max circumference of 96 cm at its smallest to 160 cm at its widest.... so what is going wrong? I have a waist of 29 for jeans and it fits me. I hope I can help. Enjoy the Outdoors and Stay Safe! Cheers, Gijs

Very nice review, I have 31 inch waist, I think the hipbelt will not fit me
