the (original) title made it sound like you found a way to get Grammarly premium for free since basic grammerly has always been free...i currently use the plugin for Edge (which I guess doesn't include AI features or I don't know how to turn it on.)... my biggest gripe with grammerly is when you are writing something the active button on the bottom right tends to cover up what you're writing and you can't see the last word of text that you write underneath it. (Edit- update 2/9/24) I guess Kevin saw the error of his ways with the title and has renamed it to include AI in the title...I appreciate the effort.👍

I wrote my thesis in turkish but used a translation tool and paraphrased it in grammarly. the whole thing. I haven’t put it through turnitin yet. will it detect my work as ai? I’m so nervous

I’d say the core functionality is the AI writing/ rewrites integrated into the experience. With free, you get 100 and paid gives you 1000. You get the same experience irrespective of which option you choose. If you end up using the assistance occasionally, free is just fine, if you communicate a lot and need assistance, premium is likely better. Free is still a perfectly good option. 👍

Grammarly is ok. They put, commas in, every few words, as if you were, pausing to speak, and it’s, mind blowing, bad. Also their Mac app is not good comparatively. It’s good for summarising what you wrote, as long as you, are willing to, fix , the grammar, ironically.

Had to uninstall the Grammerly app. It made all my applications really laggy. Also, the Grammarly icons are always in the worst positions.

Yeah, it'll work in Microsoft Word as well. The AI assistant can be very helpful for pulling together a resume.

It only works for English and a very few foreign languages. Not so much for Brazilian Portuguese. What a disappointment!
