Hahaha, nice try, but my mom is from Sibenik, as is my grandmom, and that entire side of my family.
So try harder.
And no, it has absolutely nothing to do with what “Serbs bombed to hell”, it has something to do with this city being an average, dull, central European city.
There are literally many other central European cities that are more attractive.
The really beautiful cities in Croatia such as Dubrovnik, Zadar, Rovinj, Opatija are all still standing, they indeed were not “bombed to hell”.
You need to check what “bombed to hell” means.
Let’s start with Hiroshima or Dresden, shall we?

As someone who has origins from Sibenik, I’d be happy to see that city, the channel, Krka waterfalls, and maybe also Primosten where I used to spend a lot of time swimming when I was a child. :)
So we are both from Sibenik :). You should absolutely visit, worth the shot to explore the whole country.
