Building Blinkit: everything delivered in 10 minutes

In today’s episode, I am joined by Satyam Krishna. Satyam was a software engineering manager at Blinkit, building the technology behind 10 minute delivery.
Blinkit (fka Grofers) is a quick-commerce service in India, which enables users to order grocery, fruits & vegetables, and other daily essential products, directly via their mobile or web browsers. Blinkit is one of the largest companies in the quick-commerce (aka hyper-local) category in India, serving ~0.5 million users per day.
Satyam was a key member of the technical team that ensured the process of order to delivery was all completed within 10 minutes.

Really great video, Loved it!
But when I read "Building BlinkIt" I was also expecting to get a high-level system design on different software clients used by different stakeholders, right from a user placing an order to it getting delivered. How is synergy maintained across different stake holders on the supply side of the problem. While shelf stable SKUs are comparatively easy to manage, I wanted to understand how fresh/perishable produce was handled from sourcing to delivery.
