      @@sethjoyner391 Where exactly do the value have to be? I've noticed that both banks move in increments of 5 while rotating the VVEL position sensor. For example I was getting .494, .499, .504, .509 and etc... I've put both of them at .504 volts and go through the reset procedure but the alarm will come back. If I reset it and keep the rpm above 3000 rpm on startup, it seems to rev out but only on bank 2.

    Dealership installed a new OEM flexplate with all the pins and got the car to start.
    The problem is when it turns on it’s still in limp mode and keeps throwing the same codes.
    P1088 - VVEL System B2
    P1093 - VVEL Actuator Motor B2
    P0335 - Crankshaft Position Sensor/Circuit
    They dealership is now telling me they can not further diagnose it without flashing my car back to stock and even then there’s only a 10% chance of “it” working. I’m already $3200 into it and NOT about to have them flash it back to stock. Anyone know why this is happening or had experience with this before? TIA

    • @sethjoyner391
      @sethjoyner391  Před rokem

      Basically, because it seems they're unfamiliar with the system...sounds like they are unaware of the 5.5 degree preset inclination of the control cam to mechanically phase it with the stepper motor...because it's mechanically out of time, they weren't able to get the sensor in range...Basically, it needs to come back apart, valve cover off, rear vvel cap off and an adjustment made at the Allen screws that connect the stepper motor to the intake control cam

    • @sethjoyner391

      They said they weren’t able to use the consult tool to perform the idle air learned procedure to move onto the next step. Which he needs in order to adjust the sensor to 0.5V. But he was saying both sensor were reading wrong. But when I used my ECUTEK Bluetooth dongle the drivers side was reading 0.54V and the drivers 4.5V
      So they would have to make sure it’s 120 degrees, from top dead centre. Lock the passenger side cam, adjust the stepper motor to 1.585inches, lock down the cam Allen key bolts, and then reinstall the valve cover? After that adjust the sensor to 0.5V?
