Int frh’s very fun but the damage department’s not exactly there as would it be for pure fth/pure int.

This build is near perfect. You have microcosm + zamor for AoE damage. Slicer + Adula + Piercer which combos great up close. Shard spiral + Comet for big damage and chase down into sword spells. The only thing I’d change is probably swift glinstone over star shower since I generally saw you weaken enemies to the point where it’d finish the kill faster. Great build
@@DGreatDane Thanks! Normally i dont use star shower i usually replace it with something like gavel or gravitational missle but i already did a video on the missle spell

That Shard Spiral into Comet is a fun one to catch people off guard. Very clever spell combos all around.

Bit late cos I’ve been avoiding spoilers while finishing my playthru, love seeing the new drips, weapons, spells and locations! Ngl I was worried about the nerfs to some of my faves in the mage arsenal (spinning weapon, my beloved!) but oof! When microcosm lands it hits hard! Can’t wait to see more of what you make from the DLC goodies!

Nah whenever I go to sleep I turn my hunter thing on so invaders can get free estes and hosts can’t summon 10 people to help them

Great set up! Magic glintblade x2 into collapsing stars is another great combo gets people panic rolling so I can catch them with the gravity bolt roll catch

With the new dlc I want to play a nee character, focusing on str/arc using dragon communion and bloodflame incantations, together with bleed or occuly infused weapons, like crescent moon axe or flambarge, with a main weapon being an Executioner's GS 🤔

@@mayankain8257 For a a mage or anything involving intelligence i always put the shrouded cracked magic tear for dmg boost and on the secondary, i’ll either use the opaline hardtear or cerulean bubble tear

Great video bro. Do you use this style of gameplay for the dlc bosses? What build did you use for radahn? I soloed a few bosses some didn’t. This last radahn fight has me hopeless.

great build, and fun rotations, as an invader myself i know how hard it is to get these wins. Like we have swift slash, blind spot + captain America shield spam, not ez to invade right now haha but mages are smart! they always find a way out! Also i am running a int/faith and the combo potential with the new spells is pretty nice, I bet you will find some crazy stuff if you give it a try!

@@stevie31 Yeah, just hope they continue to balance things and don't leave the game hanging with glitches and stuff like ds3. Even then (except some groups) most of ds3 pvp was great.

Sometimes when I make food or am just a short period of time away I like to go afk blue as estus delivery for fellow invaders 👀

It's always a pleasure to watch your fights. Your control over all of those spells on their respective situations is both impressive and pleasing to see, really, and the music choice is just awesome. You are actually my example on how to play a caster, so i've been meaning to ask a couple things if you don't mind.
What do you think of the Beloved Stardust talisman and the Glintblade Trio?
Is Carian greatsword worth it at all instead of just using Adula's?
Why does your game always look that much lighter and less saturated ? xd

@@KanaraVelunaThanks i appreciate it! I actually havent used beloved stardust talisman or glintblade trio yet, stardust talisman sounds good but the extra damage you take worries me. I prefer adulas moonblade over carian greatsword just because of the projectile that comes out when casting it

@@stevie31 Thanks for your insight, and yes, it's a huge dmg reduction penalty, but if it lets you wield something else in your offhand, might be worth to try. And as for the visuals, no, they don't look bad, but they do look different on your video than they do on my game, or in other elden ring videos. ChaseTheBro could be an example, everything looks darker, specially notably on the health/stamina/fp bars. I actually think it looks pretty on yours, so wanted to try it, but it might be just the brightness setting.
@@KanaraVeluna I get asked alot about my picture settings, and the reason it looks the way it does is because i upload everything using a 4k HDR tv and in the elden ring menu i have the HDR saturation setting maxed out at 10

Fleeting Microcosm looks pretty good. How far is its range, can it just spawn under people from any distance as long as you get a lock on?
@@pitshoster401 It has ridiculous range lol try casting off of a cliff and it will spawn off camera somewhere and when you look down you’ll see that it spawned at the very bottom of the cliff lol

nop ill beat your rotation with my mage, number 1 thing wrong is carian slicer should be first, that way you can hold your spell rotation button to slicer for anyone in melee range, next spells should be hyperarmor to win trades or swift shard to dance and sting, then AOE to push anyone nearby away, THEN range spells
what do you do against dudes spamming barrier of gold? because wow it blocks some serious magic damage
Just keep hitting them, barrier of gold got a huge nerf along time ago
@@stevie31 I appreciate all the responses you've given. I didn't even realize that it was nerfed lol. I came back to elden ring because of the dlc and am finally wanting to dip my toes into the pvp. Sweet. That's great news for me who wants to copy your build lol.
Last final question. Gravitational missile or fleeting microcosm? Grav missile seems nice as a instant cast at your feet "hey get off me" kinda spell.
Microcosm is nice for the "oh man this thing is about to explode I have to focus on dodging it" kind of thing.

@@Rain1 Yea barrier of gold had a 60% nerf i believe so its really not that great anymore and forget microcosm and use gravitational missle its so much better because you can aim into the ground for instant aoe blasts

Don't tell the hunter to uninstall. Bro could've had a bathroom break. Plus, you know how long it takes to get summoned as a hunter. I've played for hours without being summoned. I've went afk completey forgetting I have it on.

Alot of people are going into the dlc at 150 as well so 168 is really good for the dlc

huh, i just realized you started this class on vagabond. You do lose some levels because of it but im sure you're aware. Who actually wants to play an entire other character through all of this again (at least if not on PC, on pc just download save file yay)
