I think it’s pretty normal that, since most teachers are female, girls just have at least a slight advantage in all spaces
This includes:
Make up work
Questions
Corrections
Unfinished assignments
Failed tests
Volume of voice
Contraband items

And this is speaking from personal experience. One of my teachers made the entire class half boy and half girl, which I didn’t realize until later, and rarely ever stopped the girl side from talking while making the boy side answer questions and get openly humiliated. I’d occasionally glance over at the girl side and see people straight up not even trying to look like they are listening

1:47 i had a similar situation: one time i was on my cell in the halls of high school, and a teacher called me out on it, and i thought "why call specifically me out? Everyone else is on their phones!!" I feel like the better people behave in general, the angrier people get for even your little mistakes. The phone thing and the angrier for little mistakes are two of my pet peeves. And to this day, I still pull my phone in the halls just to spite that teacher
