Ictiobus... a/k/a buffalo fish. They look similar, but a very different in taste, to carp. Buffalo fish are indigenous to North America. Some have also been found south of the border.

My home town... all u do is make up dough bait an u can catch as many catfish and buffalo u want at the spillway

Over the years I've caught a few, but not lately.
