** Constructive Criticism for JRide **
*No need to dominate your guests and position yourself higher than them. It’s just your opinion. Give them a chance to talk and really get to the heart of what they are thinking.
    * Your guests are not your students.
    * No need to position yourself as the authority on reselling. It’s your opinion.
*Remember, you’re a new seller, and be humble.

We travel regularly (mainly in the South East) and there are treasures to be found anywhere. We've hit KILLER sales in rural Georgia and Tennessee. We've done awesome in West Palm Beach Florida. We've found treasure in lakefront communities in Alabama. One of our best sources is a retail store in a suburban Tennessee town. You can find things anywhere if you're able to get out of your comfort zone.

100% to the bringing someone else with you comment if you've got friends / family who want to go out with you. I bring my mom with me on the weekends because she loves doing garage sales and thrift stores. She always finds stuff I would've never looked at previously or that I just simply missed because sometimes I get hype focused on certain items.

Sometimes in-demand items are not fun or sexy. I was sharing my estate haul with my mom, I said I bought a bunch of filters and that sounds extremely boring. But I should make a lot of money off of them within two weeks time and money is nice. (I sold most of them within two days instead of two weeks)

I am a video game seller and do ask for games at garage sales, but 50-70 percent of the profit I make at garage sales are golf clubs, cameras, electronics etc.. all the other people asking for games leave all that stuff

I drive 2002 & 1996 ford rangers. Never have to worry about house getting robbed. They see what's in driveway & say no money there. Plus cheap insurance.

The problem Sonny has is he’s too niched down. I source Vegas regularly and I find good stuff every time I go. JRide should know that because he sources in Vegas regularly too.

'$10,000 in inventory for $180'...'Anyone can make hundreds of thousands of dollars a year if they have access to a smartphone'...I sincerely hope no one is taking this stuff to heart. That's not how business works. Business is about repeatable processes. Gross sales and net sales are not remotely the same thing. Also, eBay to eBay works if you live in the United States. Anywhere else in the world and that model is completely inaccessible because of international shipping and customs. I don't get this selling-a-dream stuff. You can make money re-selling, but to hype it as a $300,000/year gig is nuts. A single person doing $150,000 gross on eBay and other platforms is probably a top 5% re-seller.
