jsyk if you want to cheese the minigame that screws with your controls, it always does a rotation of your controls. so what I do is press right after spinning and orient my wii remote based on the response from the game (ie, if it moves me left, I rotate my remote 180 degrees) and then you can continue as normal through the rest of the maze
A tip for poof is on the maze dizzy game the best way to play it is to just rotate your remote until you find the right orientation. It works like a charm
For the dizzy labyrinth game, if you rotate your Wii remote after getting dizzy, you eventfully find a setting where the controls are normal, only the remote is turned around Makes it a lot easier to win, like so poof maybe sees this :)
For the running yardstick game (at 2:30 ), just use the clock to approximate your velocity in m/s. (look at. time while running at full speed and figure out roughly how many seconds it takes to go 10 meters), than use this to gauge how long you should run to the right, instead of guessing.

i remember a very usefull trick for Daze Maze, rotate your remote, controles are only rotated, not mixed if the up arrow moves you to the left, the right arrow will always move you up
