This seems to be a very charming place, I hope I can visit sometime in the future when all this is over. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much!

I really love Saint Petersburg and i have visited 3 times now. I find you always see more of this beautiful city that you did not notice previously. Absolutely wonderful and a true treasure!
I have also seen Swan Lake at the Mikhailovsky Theatre and i have to say it was an amazing theatre and an outstanding performance and a night to remember 😊

was in Russia a few years ago for a month-long solo trip, the architecture hasn't changed in 100 years or more. it was a very inspiring experience, i also made it to Saint Petersburg where i made many friends.

I took the tour of St. Issacs and went up to the roof, also. Amazing views! I love that the laws used to be, at one time, that no building in the city could be taller than the church spires.

I love how you said "the shift of energy" so many people would be like that's not a real concept and blah blah, it is definitely real for me too.
Recently came back to Moscow after ten years and stayed there for 6 months and I could tell right away the energy of the city changed from what I remembered in 2010 and sure enough my instinct was right, new generation, new energy flow, new outlook on life, so clean and lovely, next time I wanna go to Pit'er :)

I absolutely loved SP when I visited in July 2019. I lasted about 4 hours in The Hermitage, which is more than I have lasted anywhere indoors. No photo or video can capture the splendour of St. Isaac's Cathedral. And I was lost at Peterhof.
Very true. I'm not a huge museum person either, but Hermitage kept me for two days!

Мой приятель жил рядом с Исаакиевским собором (дело было лет сорок назад, нам было лет по восемнадцать). Живя рядом с собором, он в нём ни разу не был, дескать - всегда успеется, потом он уехал в пригород и не был в соборе, потому что теперь было далеко. Потом он уехал в Америку и в Соборе не был, потому что совсем далеко, лет через двадцать он вернулся из Америки, но уже в Москву, пару лет назад он позвонил и сказал, что приехал в Питер из Москвы специально, с целью - посетить, наконец, Собор...
Попал он туда, в конце концов, или нет, не знаю.
Эта как притча Вами выдуманная... Скорее он умер, так и не побывав в Исаакие

Wonderful music and images Alina, as always ou expressed the same comment I made decades ago on m first visit: it felt like home. I was never a city person but visited most parge cities of the world in 91 countries but St Petersburg had a very human scale, accessible feeling that still 20 years after moving here full time gets me out of the apartment every day to just walk and every day discover something interesting. Performances, gallery exhibitions, socializing, discovering more of the 13,000 restaurants that opened since I moved here or just hanging out in a pub meeting new friends. It is the most open and friendly big city I have ever been in. Unless one is very shy and introverted they will meed new interesting people every day. Winter is a good time to explore because the summer tourist season is getting very crowded and winters are not really cold like they used to be.

Первый раз был в Питере в мае 2006 г., был на Невском на карнавале в честь дня города, остались не забываемые воспоминания! Потом еще 3 раза в разные годы и всегда мне нравилось быть в Питере! Советую съездить в Царское село (Екатерининский дворец) в г.Пушкин и в парк Петергоф (лучше летом), там просто афигенно погулять! Классное видео! С новым годом!

Действительно ОЧЕНЬ КРАСИВЫЙ ГОРОД, родной город твоей мамы как я понимаю. Да и зов крови тебя вернул на родину, ты в Питере даже красивее выглядишь чем обычно, ты и сама украшаешь и не без того прекрасный город! Очень хочется чаще видео в Питере с тобой, погуляй где-нибудь на окраине города, в Питере люди оценят это когда увидят свои родные места где родились и выросли [возможно уехали и вспомнят]. ОЧЕНЬ ПРОСИМ - ПРИЕЗЖАЙ ПОЖАЛУЙСТА !!! Было бы классно посмотреть на тебя и твои рассказы где-нибудь в купчино [места где проходило мое детство и юность, сейчас это безопасный район не смотря на то что люди вспоминая прошлое называют его бандитским]. :)
