- In todays video I talk about the best ways to save time whilst visiting the Alton Towers resort! As many of you may know Alton Towers gets a lot of guests so some of the queues get quite long, so in this video I talk about ways you can go about saving time and getting on more rides whilst you visit the Alton Towers Resort

Alton Towers is a theme park located in staffordshire and home to some of the tallest, fastest and scariest rides in the UK. Which include the likes of The Smiler, Nemesis, Th13teen, Galactica, Rita, Oblivion and Wickerman. It is the UKs biggest theme park and one of the most scariest theme parks in the world!!!

P.S. The Single Rider Queues for this Year that are open are Oblivion, The Smiler, Spinball Whizzer and Th13teen.
I asked staff about the Spinball single rider line in November having heard about it but seeing no evidence of it, was told it no longer exists, and only the smiler had a single rider line moving forward.

The closing time, is the ride queue closing time not the park.

i always walk through the galactica entrance then go to rita,thirteen,smiler,oblivion,nemesis, galactic, wicker man then spin ball
When i went Here is what i did! Got in 13 Q before it opened then rita,galactica,then fastpass on smiler then fastpass oblivion wickerman then nemesis in one day!
9.30AM seems the best for me. I will attend to go to Dark Forest as not to waste my ways and I will go to Forbidden Valley I will have a early lunch and I am watching my diet when I eat.
PS I am watching my budget as well.💷😊

I love thriller rides, but the smiler, nemesis, and oblivion terrify me. I have never been on them or rita.
I like to go to Galactica (my favourite rollercoaster) then take the skyride to the dark forest or the towers. Then I go on Hex or Th13teen depending on where I go.
I don’t normally get food at the park, instead I just get food after I go back to the hotel.
I'm going in 12 days!
I'm going on July 1st for the first time. Still deciding if I should buy the platinum fast passes
do it. i bought them for when i went in August and it really helps. i did smiler around 7 times in an hour whilst it was advertised 100 minutes!

I remember once at flamingo land for sik I was in the single rider queue and it took 1 hour because everyone else got to go on 4 rides earlier than me
Tip : only go in single rider queue if you’re the only person and there was only ever 2 other people in front of me
1st spinball whizzer
2nd galactica
3rd nemesis
4th oblivion
5th smiler
6th rapids
7th going home

Get to park for 9am or shortly after ⏲️
When gates open.. you will be one of the first in the park go straight to wickerman ASAP
Wickerman opens 10am you will be off by 10.10am because you got in early
10.20 your at dark forest ride 13 & Rita now they will have next to no que at this time of the morning everyone is now waiting on the wickerman and the smiler 🚶♂️🚶♀️🚶♂️you should be done before 11am
Take sky ride to forbidden valley at 11am if you have time before this opens ride hex
11.10 ride galactica usaly 30 min que 11.50 ride nemisis 15 min que
Walk 🚶♂️to xsector by 12.20 ride oblivion usually a short que and then join the single rider que for smiler as its usually a massive que this will be a quarter of the wait time of main que ..

Things that could stop this working. you are late in the morning and not one of the first people in the park ...this plan works because your ahead of the crowds. if you are only a little late skip wickerman and go straight to dark forest...🌲

Now I tried this exact tactic last year and the Alton towers gods were against us. My coach arrived really late (10am) and both 13 and sky ride were down. Nemesis was advertised at 20 mins, took 40 then it broke when we were next on.
@@twistedcoasters1533 aww man they deffo were against you that day it only works of the gods are on your side to be fair it works more often than not Try again your next visit..I'm back on Friday for first time and will be doing it ...

How was it? I wasn’t at wickerman because we were slightly late and really wanted to prioritize 13 because someone in our party had never done it and didn’t ‘know’. It was a pretty quiet day, smiler single rider queue was empty all day too.
