The first time I used Mario’s ethereal eyes palette, the sparkles fell out so bad and my eyes felt irritated all day! The next time I used pat mcgraths intensify wand, and it stayed put, and I really loved it.

Ha, I love how this video ends. I got this palette yesterday and had nearly the same thought process. 1. "This is soooo pretty. I definitely already have this." 2. "Does this have more kick-up than an ABH palette? Is that even possible?" 3. "This is the prettiest thing I have ever put on my eyes." I'm not about to throw out all my other palettes, but there's some witchcraft here.
It's so funny how after years of "more pigment please!" We finally are back to a soft wash era.
I can't wait to see a dozen more palettes just like this chasing its thunder over next year lmao. Spring is going to be insane
Hauhahahah I had the same thing happen to me, I started watching people talk about this palette and I was like “ok I need it”, then I saw videos saying the pigmentation was lacking and that the colour story wasn’t unique, you might have them already in your collection, so I started searching for dupes, convinced I wasn’t gonna buy it, then I watched Patty Alonso’s review and I was like, that’s it I need it, and I went and got it and love it. It was sold out online when I wanted to buy it, I had to go to a Sephora 45 min away to find it lol
I picked this up during the sale and I’ve been enjoying it so far. Only used it twice, but yesterday I got a really nice subtle work look that was still special. I have been enjoying that it is the trendy mauve look but softer in pigment so it doesn’t look like pink eye on me - rare.
Still watching the video...but I had a thought. Please do a video on Armani beauty. They have some melting blushes ( not the liquid ones) that people seem to love. They are like cream to powder blushes. They also have liquid eyeshadows and I'm also interested in their setting powders. Thanksssss. Now back to the video
Just bought this and received it yesterday! My niece messaged me 4 days ago raving about how she saw it in action during makeup/hair before a wedding she was working at! She has never raved so hard over an eyeshadow palette so, even though I wasn’t looking to buy any palettes, she convinced me and I pulled the trigger.
The palette is beautiful! But, yes, I have some Buts….I am almost 39 years old. The glitters in this palette aren’t real wearable for me anymore. I love the mattes! And, I noticed when playing around doing my very first look with it, it has TONS of Fall out! I mean TONs! Yes, I know…glitters and shiny shadows, tend to have fallout. I know this is nearly unavoidable. I’ve been doing makeup myself since I was 14 years old, on a very daily basis, lol. So, I am not naive to pros and cons of shadows. But gosh, this fallout is significant with the glitter formulas.
I am going to play around with it more. As of right now though, I feel like this is super overpriced at nearly $70. I prefer the Natasha Denona Palettes to this one! Natasha Denona has the best eye palettes in every aspect IMO!
I feel the exact same way. Fall out everywhere, over priced and prefer ND.
I gotta say, I love how you have kept your plugs and integrated traditional dangly earrings with them. Very pretty and unique!

The KVD dazzle stick in flash storm looks exactly like that eye combo as well! So so pretty and wet looking

I was so bummed the Mario palette came out AFTER I made my Sephora sale order. I had maybe the worse week of my life last week and a friend sent me the palette to cheer me up and I screamed! I agree it’s not like the his quads but for me still very wearable. I cannot WAIT to see the color stories Lisa Eldridge is about to come out with!
Loved watching this! Would love more of you playing with it (shorts, reel, GRWM) … there are so many colors to choose from and would love to see more “eyedeas” 😂for how to use it!
When I swatched the sparkly shades in store and walked around with them on my hand for a bit, the sparkles went eveeeeywhere. I keep listening to reviews wondering if others will have the same experience.

I love using Subculture with my divine little fingies! It brings the unpolished 90s out of me very quickly
It's so true! The shadows went poof! when putting them on. And I almost returned it until I watched this and decided to give it a second chance.
I loved and owned the Tarte palette (in bloom?) which is a little bit cooler. This was my "natural" basic palette for years and Marios palette reminds me of this one. Nowadays I use the browns and creams in the Viseart cool palette and this is even better. When I want a shimmer I use Lisa Eldridges liquid lurex. I feel I get the better quality.

I watched Hautemess Tom do a first impressions of this palette and they seemed to have the same kind of difficulty with this palette and yet absolutely loved the look they got 😂
Why couldn't he be like Sydney Grace and offer a deeper version?! I love the colour story, but, those mattes look like they'd be ashy af in a bad way unless it's just on my lids 😭
These formulas reminds me of ABH, viseart and Natasha Denona. I'm able to get really soft washes and then top them with a shimmer, Pat astral, colourpop super shock (Ritz!), or a Roen quad. Been wearing Glam a lot, and those shades are so sheer they adept to my skintone-- no film of talc in the crease etc.
That said, these types of things work better for oily lids or a grippy primer. It's so discombobulating to see a cream shimmer with a bunch of dusty mattes around it...
Patrick Ta is doing the concept better imo and is more for dry lids since it has the cream bases.

I absolutely love this pallette! I returned the Patrick Ta, and the new charlotte tilberry cheek pallette. I could not return this pallette, I reach for it everyday. It's so easy to blend!
I chose Pat Mcgrath moonlit seduction palette over Ethereal Eyes during the sale. I was really looking for those neutral eye toppers. I think the celestial shades in the Pat Mcgrath are much more impressive. And I think Moonlit Seduction is a much better value. I have the master mattes palette so i almost feel like i can dupe this palette between the two.I would love to see you do a review of moonlit seduction!
I agree, I’m not crazy about bronzite or quartzite either. (I do love fenty diamond bomb! I pulled it out to use with this Mario palette, lol)
I hope she ends up getting it again, maybe trying the pink one. It's one of my favourite products ever made hahaha. I'm gonna pop some of the white one on my inner corners today 😌

How do these mattes compare to the Master Mattes palette? I have no MBM quad to ref. I love my Master Matte as a tool to adjust other shadows when I feel the need, no kick up, zero dust, not fragile. Work horse like the OG Viserart mattes. When I touch my ABH palettes, yes kick up, yes potential fall out, yes fragile & yes delicately lovely ~~ but also, for me at least potential for crazy, muddy, oxidized shadows if I involve more than two or three shadows in a look ~~ Mud City and I am not talking PM Beautiful Mud City ~~ old school Tarte mud, but with actual pigment.

I'd love to see the cream bronzer stick compared to salt NY Cocoa even though Cocoa isn't a bronzer. I use it that way tho because it has that gorgeous slightly warm flush on my skin. I'm not usually a fan of bronzer, but Cocoa gives me life! I'm not a fan of neutral eyeshadow palettes either, but if Mario ever releases that almost silvery taupe shade as a single? It shall be MINE. 🙃✨✨✨
It's okay, I'm obsessed with it too hahaha. I'm duping the vibe with ND Glam but I'll sleep with one eye open. I think I'll be content with CT smokey quartz though! Black Friday feels a lifetime away this year 🥲
I looove a palette with more mattes than shimmers/glitters/celestials etc combined. I can only hope Pat McGrath comes up with a mostly matte muted coloured palette some time in the future because I love her formula but half of each mothership palette doesn’t see much use from me (I’ve tried a couple!)

I use a makeup revolution to get the basic look ( newtral vs neutral) and then put on Clionadh abrasion over it go for the same look
How does VB beauty tea rose and mink compare to those swatches that you did (comparing lithium)?
You mentioned mario does not have any contour products, but isn't the bronzing stick in the second color kind of contouring? Either the first or the second one has that cool color no?
I just feel like Ritz from ColourPop can do what those topper shades are doing.
LOL I just left a comment talking about how I use ABH, viseart, and Natasha Denona mattes with Ritz all the time. Or even just bronzer.
I've even done a wet gradient with astral solstice on the lids and ritz on the inner corners .. colourpop does NOT mess around and they are still underrated tbh

I'm wondering if you're going to be pickup the Lisa Eldrige pallets or even just some of the singles 🤔 I'm trying to hold back but at the same time justifying it in my head to buy because nothing during the sephora sale or new releases got me as interested....just wish I knew how much they were going to be before I jump 😩
How does this compare to the Patrick Ta Matte formula? I find his palette kicks up A LOT also.
You can also get a really soft wash, and dab the light tones on for dimension or a wet look, but there aren't cool tones.
If major dimension 3 has taupes, I will be DECEASED 👼🏾
Bought the mario palette during the sale, thought it was pretty, decided I had these colors already and sold it for double the price on ebay because its sold out, the end.
And honestly speaking, get your coin. If someone is rich and willing to pay to try it early, let them. They could have just waited or gotten it used and sanitized it lmao

I’m so confused about shade that is a cream. I heard someone on Instagram say that shade in her palette is a cream/putty as well, but some of her followers said that their palettes did not have a cream?? I forgot who it was. And then in some reviews I watched, the reviewer didn’t mention it all. I feel like if it was a crazy texture, they would have mentioned it. So strange!

He definitely made these shadows to be buildable so you could get the soft ethereal look or build it up to go nice and Smokey. But this was a beautiful look you came up with 🤍

Please for the love of god review the new Lisa Eldridge eyeshadow! I just watched her video. I love that she is selling singles.
I really want to like it but I can’t understand how is this different from a Tarte palette that almost nobody gets excited anymore. The color story is exactly the same as many neutral palettes. Is it just because its Mario that everyone is excited about? Or is the quality THAT different and amazing that it is worth the cost?
My biggest hesitation to this palette is that it doesn’t seem inclusive in its shades. I feel like it’s looked ashy on anyone darker than a light medium.

Is the master mattes formula the same as the matte in the quad or is this 3 different matte formulas? - I have the quads - nude 1 & 2 and it's my favorite matte eyeshadow
Yes this is super expensive HOWEVER the formula well I do not have anything like it, it reminds me of the Burberry $125 monogram palette formula, but damn do the special shades in this Mario palette leave GLITTER everywhere which reminds me of the Pat Mcgrath glitter Fall out ,( which is not good but works well with the PML eye stick to somewhat avoid the glitter fall out…. This palette is an extremely sophisticated palette and I feel it’s worth the price tag as it’s right up there with the expensive Burberry and TF formula

This would be a lot softer and have more cool tones that aren't grey. Tom Ford has a similar quad if you wouldn't wear the pink or toppers that much, too

What was the eye primer you used cause I have sensitive eyes and dry eyes 👀 sensitive skin so I wanna find one I can use I normally use my facial creams it sticks but to get rid of my stupid veins on my eyelids I've tried alot and nothing works except Bobbi brown eye correct but it's been hard lately plus $32 is alot for a stupid corrector

I'm so sorry, but for $70, the packaging just looks too darn cheap, I can't bare it.
I got my midnight sun for 7 dollars more brand new .... I think it's really arrogant of him to spike his price this much without making the packaging a little more lux.
It's supposedly a bridal palette. No gold, flowers, or classically fem design to represent that? Just the colors, and they aren't that inclusive... what a shame.
The packaging is actually heavy and beautiful in real life. It may look plain on the outside but once held and opened- it’s stunning

I’m just referring that the Mario palette may look basic but it has good weight to it and blends beautifully. Yes there is fallout but it’s stunning.

Talc is a very dry powder and it's not good for skin or eyes 👀 they all need to take the talc out and sometimes the mica being the first ingredients it's irritating the eyes 👀 and bismuth oxychloride is a nightmare very dry irritating detergent powder it's a bad ingredients... I can't use
