Today I will show you the new Guerlain Meteorites light revealing pearls in 01 pearly white and 02 cool/rose and the new limited edition Guerlain spring summer 2024 makeup collection. I will review the new Guerlain Ombres G eyeshadow palette in 458 Aura Glow and the new Guerlain kisskiss Bee glow lip balm in pop rose glow. Guerlain is one of my favorite French beauty brands and I am very excited for this new makeup collection for spring 2024. I think Violette Fr created a beautiful summer makeup collection for Guerlain makeup. Yes!! I was told to shake them too. Thank you for reviewing them and teaching people how to correctly use them. My best friend didn’t like them until I told her to shake it. Then she fell in love with them.
Angela I have to say that this was a terrific demonstration and I literally want it all! I’m especially interested in the under eye illuminator/concealer and the lip balm. Also, just a suggestion, I’d love to see you do a vlog style “what I do know a day” video. That would be so interesting and motivational I’m sure 👍 ❤😊
The Guerlain pearls look very sparkly in full sunlight. I am saving mine for evenings as it looks more natural under artificial light on me.
I adore new packaging. It’s reminds me of a very old packaging.
Great reviews. I agree about the scent. I have been a collector of the pearls and meteorite compacs since almost day one. The very first ones had velour puffs and then the foam circles came out and apart from helping with storage were useless for application. I do love the meteorites themselves though. My dream would be a set of mini ones in a kind of Advent Calendar so we could all sample the different kinds that have come out over the years. The eyeshadow looks beautiful on you Angela. I don't have them as I purchased the Suqqu sets which are similar. The highlight pen sounds just up my street as a concealer. Thank you for the wonderful tips xx
Hi Verena, thank you so much for this lovely comment. I didn't know Guerlain used to have velour puffs in the past. The idea about the advent calendar with the mini pearls is brilliant! I would love to buy such calendar with mini versions of different pearls. I wish they would make illuminating blush pearls too like the ones that I have from a few years ago.
What a fabulous idea for an Advent calendar. I don't lile the new scent either.
I collect Meteorites since 2007 and before it came always with a puff, and then much later they changed to the foam, which is useless. I'm glad they returned to the puff! 😁

The guerlain concealer is very good!! I am a mature woman, and it covers dark cirkel very well, and it is non drying. Much better than the YSL, that this is more like an highlighter 🥰😉😀

Hello Angela. You know I am not a powder person but i adore the metrorites. I have six. Even the darkest ones. I use them as blush as contours and any thing in between.I buff it a lot. the more you buff them the more they glow.Hope you are enjoying your weekend. XO

I ordered number 1 of the new collection, i hope the scent isn't too repulsive lol I liked the violet one a lot, I have 2 x of the christmas collection 2023 and the original ones in the silver box in color 3.

Hi Angela- I LOVE the Guerlain lip balms too- I always keep the shade Rose Glow and one called Honey. Use them all the time as they both condition and leave a natural flush on your lips that is just beautiful & youthful. I prefer them to the lip oil, too.
I may try the shadows because I have lighter green eyes & think it will show up nicely on me. Some shadow look better on lighter eyes than brown.
Jen, I really love tempting beige too, I try not to use it , but I probably should. Years ago a Chanel master makeup artist recommended it and I love it !
I bought the new Dior eyeshadow palette and it is sooo disappointing. No pigmentation just shimmer. I should have spent my money on this beautiful guerlain palette. 😭 Thank you for your fantastic work.
Hi Corinna, I'm so sorry to hear Dior was such a disappointment. Lately, their eyeshadow palettes are a hit or miss and most of the time I haven't been happy with the quality.
I find these beautiful loose powders in different shades to help with color correcting when my foundation is either too warm, or too cool.
Try the deepest shade of meteorites as blush is lovely!!! 😍 I use it to go to the gym 😅😅😅
Hi Dear Angela, I love Guerlain makeup. Like you, I prefer the precious lights over YSL. I have the meteorites in a pan and in the green tin, but I don’t seem to use it much. I love the Terracota foundation and their previous Terracota foundation (which is in a tube). I heard that they will discontinue the tube. The new blush is wonderful, I have one of their previous blushes as well and it also stays put all day, even after a sweaty workout ☺️ I tried the new Guerlain lip oil and they are fantastic. It doesn’t have much of a color initially but it develops after a while like the balms. thank you for this helpful review 😘😘
Sephora has a great GUERLAIN bundle marked down from 229 to 150! Youth water, eye cream, and pink balm! It’s a steal! I wish GUERLAIN offered more bundles
Hi lovely, In Europe they often have such skincare bundles. That's how I buy their skincare.
I love that you talk about new release make up (and you are almost always the first one to talk about new releases and when they are released in which country) and you also talk about how to apply the make up for a real ladylike look. Also I love your French natural style 😍🌸🥰 we are also almost the exact same age too! The new meteorites I got smell very violet with a almost equally sandlewood scent but I prefer the violet combo scent over the new one but it doesn’t smell to bad. 🥰💜

As someone w fair skin & cool undertone (like yours but a bit cooler) i'd still prefer the old 02 to the new one... nice review again
I wonder if you could add a few of the new pearls to your old 'favorite scented' pearls for less fragrance and still enjoy the new product.

I love this collection except the new smell. It is very strong so it takes getting used to. The palette is so lovely and you look beautiful as usual 🫶🏻🫶🏻

Ciao cara ho acquistato le meteorite nella colorazione 01e le trovo stupende:dovresti prendere anche il favoloso pennello.Sto utilizzando anche il blush 01 molto bello e duraturo e posseggo anche lo 01rosa molto carino.Dovresti provare al posto del blush la tonalità n. 4 delle meteorite fa un effetto pazzesco. come fard.La palette occhi l ho presa e presto la utilizzerò.Un abbraccio 🥰

Hi lovely, I also have quite dry under eye area and sensitive eyes and it works very nice for me. It is not moisturizing so of course you need to apply a good eye cream before using it. But what I love is that it is very lightweight, covers well and lasts very well under my eyes. Most concealers feel heavy under my eyes, this one doesn't. xoxo

If you had to choose between chanel healthy glow powder and the guerlain pearls in 02, which is the better pick?
Guerlain makeup is better quality than Chanel
I have had the meteorites in the past, now I a - bit- older, I don’t like powder anymore ,I find it drys me to much.

I did Not like the new scent of new Meteorites at all. And they raised the price and are giving less product. I will wait until the original scent comes back. Meterorites is my favorite finishing powder. So very disappointed 😔
I agree, I don’t like the new scent. I really hope they bring back the violet scent.
I didn't like it either. It doesn't smell near as feminine like the originals. And the amount is ridiculous and the price worse.
I think I'll resell them. the pearls are so unstable in their composition that they crush very easily.
The scent is not coming back sadly. They are cheapening the ingredients just like every brand.
Violets are one of the most expensive flowers to extract the scent. And the woody new scent is cheap.
Guerlain was my favorite brand. not anymore
