Voldemort/Grindelwald may be the most powerful and widely feared in the 1900s but they ain't nothing compared to the most feared and powerful dark wizard of the 1800s edit: this makes sense since Voldemort was stated to be the most feared in the 1900s but not in all history, hinting that there were even more feared wizards running around last century, etc.
That’s kind of a betrayal to those others who think that they’re just as important as Professor garlick since they also teach magic I haven’t played the game yet so I don’t know but I’m sure that he/she is important
because the game wasn't designed for you to play as a bad wizard. You can't actually do this in the game. You can't cast any spell on non-enemy NPCs, the wand simply just sparks and the character trying to shake it off. There's no need to set up the consequences for you if it's not designed for you to play as a dark wizard. Even the most evil choices that you can make in the game aren't really evil. They're questionable at best but all of the choices that you can make are all made with the good/best of intentions.
@@ownageparty they do react though, with dialog lines like "don't let me catch you use that spell ever again" or "you're not suppose to do that". But that's pretty much the extent of it.
@@Random--NPC they didn't lie about that though. You can learn the dark arts and use them on the enemies and you can choose the evil ending path. And students does react to you when you use curses by their dialog responses. I think you just had the incorrect assumption that when they said students react to you, you thought that you got wanted star and students and professors start attacking you or something.
That's probably the reason why Voldemort created horcruxes - to avoid death by someone using Avada Kedavra. Just imagine Voldemort, the most powerful dark wizard of all time, dying at the hands of a random kid spamming Avada Kedavra. It wouldn't be very "Dark Lord-ish". So he found a way to survive it.
@@sephikong7880 Baby Harry didn't do anything. It was Lily Potter who used ancient magic to stop Voldemort's Avada Kedavra. She unintentionally used some kind of sacrificial magic that not even the most powerful wizards could fully understand or replicate.
Would've been cool if they implemented a heat system like the GTA series. Level 1 starts off with the wizard police chasing you down with their wands out and won't attack until you provoke them enough to do so. If they catch you you'd be thrown in a dungeon, pay a fine and then get released, As for Level 2-4 heat they'd start sending in reinforcements to track you down and kill you, max level is when a wizard with a big powerful Magic creature starts trying to kill you.
I think the biggest issue with that upon thinking about it is then what would the game be about plot wise then? You could practically become a dark wizard at any time and if you do, then the entire focus of going to classes to learn new spells, finding the respective chambers with students, quests, etc. would need to be replaced or changed. Which would probably triple the game's size alone for it. I dunno, maybe there could be a way to do that and it would be really fun and make it even more immersive, but I do see that it'd be pretty hard to implement.
@@wolfmelody2787 I didn't say his idea wasn't good, just that you'd have to actually go through the work to make it. It's not like you can just snap your fingers and all this stuff is put in. Any product takes effort.
I absolutely love this game. A similar system to Bully would have been awesome. A reason to not get caught at night, off limits areas, ect, during play not just missions(implied by Moon as important not to get caught at night). With a mundane task for detention cleaning up after Peeves, cleaning animal stalls, or something similar. Having to hide while b&e rather than just aloha I'm taking your shit, paying a fine+detention if caught ect. Having to adjust gameplay depending on who's around, unforgivables either alone or with Sebastian or apparently Poppy(does not express dislike), or risk losing side quests friends, plus fines+detention if reported. Killing half the school gets a response if killed by responding teachers and Aurors loss of progression, depending on the extent of the spree, adjusts what's lost. 1 teacher resets your progress 2 lvls ect. Completely free play has it's perks, but having those extra choices and consequences adds significantly. Don't want to worry about it, story mode, it already changes several mechanics anyway.
That would’ve been the perfect inspiration. Having to balance house points, doing regular classes and making potions you need for missions in said classes, and having to be careful to sneak out at night unseen to do night missions. The difficulties changing how easy it is how it sneak out and the difficulty of the classes themselves.
I think this is when the major problem starts, every person that you kill in the game that’s not supposed to die, affects your future gameplay in the game!
I love how everyone is just standing around and acting like nothing happened at all instead of running for their lives after you cast the curse lol 😂😂😂😂😂
One thing they didn't account for was that the spells would naturally reverberate differently depdning on where you cast them. With how loud the spells are, the fact that you always hear a rolling thunder sound after casting avada kedabra even indoors where the sound would be even louder as the sound bounces even more actively off the walls.
They could have allowed for this kind of behavior in the game, but then made it an automatic restart like when you fall from too high a ledge. Or run out of life bar in a battle. Could just say something like, you’ve ended up in Azkaban. Your hogwarts days are over. Perhaps in the future you should be more discerning in your evil ways so as to not get caught.
Yeah I think that would be good, but only in post story. Maybe you could activate something that would give you no recharge for 30 seconds or something like that.
