Grasshoppers are lush! My Grandmother loved them. She and her sister, my aunt would make them every holiday. I always had to steal sips lol
Everything looks amazing and delicious. Since I've gotten old I've made it a habit to try new things. So far I have tried frog legs, crawfish, alligator, asparagus, sushi, and a few other things.

I went to a fancy restaurant and they put the pink orchids on our plates. They were so beautiful. I had no idea you could eat them so I took them and held them and walked out holding them. Then my Mom told me later, “oh those are edible “. …. I must have looked like a doofus leaving the fancy restaurant with my little bouquet. Lol. Ah well. You live and you learn.

Do they make Ruebens with Pastrami in California? I have only ever had them with corned beef.

Looks so good. Must try a grasshopper! FYI a Reuben sandwich is usually made with corned beef not pastrami. I have never eaten a Reuben sandwich because I don't like corned beef. I love pastrami. I wonder what drink would go with pastrami?
Im 100% a pickle girl also! my favorite is the pickler burger at "Tornados" in Cedar Rapids, IA . Its hands down the best! - You should try it if you are ever out this way!!
