Dude! Secrets sounded sick! Never occurred to me it’s on a 12 string. First time I heard it I was oh snap EVH playing clean! Would’ve loved some riffs from “Little Guitars”. Can tell you were chuffed to get to play some VH. Top stuff as always mate!

Dreyn 77 dude chill the fuck out...he never said he was emulating the exact Van Halen sound. He even admitted he didn’t know exactly what he used on those songs. He said he was going to “attempt” them. Where’s your videos where you show how to get that exact sound from the records? Unless you’re gonna show us yourself sit down and shut up, dumbshit!

Eddie used a direct vintage Strat on the ‘Diver Down’ recording of “Cathedral”. He used the out-of-phase setting between the treble and middle pickup. He’s mentioned this in interviews going back to 1982 right after the recording of the album.

This was really a great video. Pete is an incredible guitar player. Another thing that I think isn’t appreciated enough is his in-depth reviews, giving a really broad range of tones, whereas other demos are very quick and narrow. I think the pedal sounded best with the intensity at about 9-10 o’clock
