    Helps me say I anit gonna do that. I'm just gonna find some hose transitions up top where they are leaking and put some new pinch clamps on and call it a day. Thanks for the procedure. Very helpful!

      Did that fix the issue? Did the hose burst with the pressure or hold up?

I am thinking of doing it myself but parts itself sold by BMW dealer cost 1100$, can you help me find the set of new updated ones cheaper is there any way or thats just it no cheaper than that. Thank you very much

      There are some good German aftermarket parts suppliers. (www.ecstuning.com/b-assembled-by-ecs-parts/turbo-coolant-line-kit/11537577014kt/?gclid=Cj0KCQjwheyUBhD-ARIsAHJNM-O_nJdXZxyhYiEHbAxncM2v--0xnZ8GSxQKM-Xfk7ezMKSGqeFkPN8aAuplEALw_wcB ECS ) Tuning is one, this is where I got mine.

    Quick question, does this make the car slower if it leaks?

    Thank you so much for this! You've done a great job explaining it. My car has been leaking coolant for some time now. I keep taking it to the BMW or the local mechanic. They say it is fixed, but it keeps coming back. I've spent well over $4k on this issue alone. I would love to work on it the next weekend. I have all the tools, just need to get the parts together.
    Would it be possible to share the parts number or the website where you purchased the parts? Thank you again for all your help!!

    At about 15:22 I have a small pin prick hole on the rubber hose that is shown there. Is it possible to replace only this rubber hose portion to solve the coolant leak I am having from it? BMW quoted $1200. And I’m looking to try to get it done at home.

    • @Glennfix
      @Glennfix  Před 2 lety +1

      You can just replace one hose or repair it. The cost is for getting to the hoses. The hoses don't cost that much. There is no problem with repairing it.

    Hi i have a bmw 750li f02 with the issue of exhaust gas smell in the car. do you know what it can come from? the exhaust manifold gaskets have been changed but the problem is still present

    • @Glennfix

      Some of the other places it could be leaking is at the turbos and Oxygen Sensor

    5 mins into this video and it is clear I dont want to try this. It would’ve been nice if you showed yourself actually removing the parts instead of just talking about how to do it. But this is just too much to do and I fear I would forget a few steps when reassembling.
