Michael, you took the words right out of my mouth! How dare you! 😊Seriously, I couldn't have said if better. I think Nick's spirit IS there when Chris plays. It HAS to be! Another place I picture Nick is sitting in a forest at night, with the moon hanging low and thousands of stars twinkling in the black sky, a haze in the air from a beautiful campfire crackling and little forest creatures gathered at his feet while he seranades them with his beautiful songs...almost like a fairytale.

Huge Nick Drake fan. Your covers have the closest vibe to Nick's that I have heard. So good.
To think it's 50 years since these were recorded, feels modern to me.
I became a fan after sorting through my late father-in-law's vinyls. In truth I liked the look of the cover so gave it a play, the album stopped me at that moment listening through his KEFs from the 70s . I sat in the old man's chair for the whole LP and couldn't help feeling he was listening. What a record..
It is a beautiful album, one that will stop anyone in their tracks! X

been listening to it nw and then during 32 years.. holy song, no doubt about it and done in fluent and brave way. the way it ends the second side of "Pink moon" LP, maybe listened in early hours of morning and this song is played at the sunrise... it feels like sunrise from the dark night of the soul... am looking forward to read new Nick Drake´s biography...

It's a little slower than the the original and it sounds just as amazing, great work. I've actually been taking a break from Nick's music, but this may have gotten me in the mood to listening to it again.
