Crying my eyes out! I was in choirs at that age, and if this had happened to us, it would have been SO, SO WONDERFUL!!! Oh, my goodness!!! We got excited, even if one of the adult musicians in our little town of Valdez, Alaska came to visit. To have a STAR walk in and do this...oh...WOW! 😀

@@setonhillstudiosActually, I’ll just clarify … The first song, Choir, was written for his friend and musical colleague, Luke, who took his own life. Choir is a tribute to Luke and is worth watching so you hear the whole song. Standing With You was written for a family member who was struggling with depression. Guy has also written tribute songs for his wife (Believer and Who I Love). His latest song, Antidote, is also very beautiful with emotive lyrics. If you like a beautiful voice emoting beautiful lyrics, then Guy is the man!

Oh my goodness each time I watch this I am filled with joy and then Guy's song about supporting someone and being there for them in their struggles. The students get it, tears but also a powerful message to them that they are never alone. wow. Guy has faced some massive tragedies with friends who took their own life and family member who was also struggling but Guy talked to him and counselled him and actually this last song he wrote for him. I love your channel & I'm a big supporter of Guy Sebastian here in Australia. He has a new song just released called "Antidote" featuring Sam Fisher another 'Masterpiece" of story telling. Before Guy Sebastian Won the 1st Season of Australia Idol in 2003 at the age of 22 . Like many Australians, he was born overseas and migrated with his family from Malaysia at a young age. His parents are of Sri Lankan, Portuguese and English descent. The family settled in Adelaide, where young Sebastian took up the violin and sang in a church choir.
When he graduated high school he began teaching vocals to schoolchildren and working as a sound engineer. But it was his decision to enter a reality TV show singing contest in 2003 that would change the course of his life. Guy Sebastian's mother would later tell media the family had no idea how big Australian Idol would turn out to be when he entered.
He became the show's first winner, and arguably its most successful alumni's. Since then, the soul artist has performed across the country, and across the globe.
To date, He's picked up seven ARIA awards, having been nominated 34 times. Guy Sebastian is also a family man, marrying the love of his life, Jules, in 2008.

I love Guy’s voice it’s phenomenal I love that song! In Australia when this song came out it became for people that have been down deep depression and anxiety and this song helped a lot of people, it was amazing!There is a lot of songs of guy’s I could tell you, but I just want to tell you music heals your soul and it also it heals the brain I had a stroke 4 months ago I had to learn to talk again but I can talk and remember of every word of songs! I love your reaction’s I’m looking into becoming a patron of your channel!! Just looking how AUST to US $ !! I got so many songs 4 U !

I’m loving that your listening to one of our homegrown aussie talents,especially Guy Sebastian,who is not only a great singer,but a really nice man,as you can see in this reaction you did. He and his wife,opened a business to help support,(financially,and with housing and a new start)women who need to escape from domestic violence

One of his hits is “Choir”,that he wrote for a friend who passed away.
Another really good one is ,-“Bloodstone”.
Guy also does a cover of another song,-“Keeping score”,live on a radio station,that has a segment called “like a version”.
It’s definetly a must watch,for pure wonder! He has so much agility with his voice,& this shows that in amazing ways!

Also he's wife suffer bad attacks of depression he wrote a song for her as well
In hope when in dark place and can't hear him that she knows he'll be along side her waiting for her
All the songs he right and produces normally have a reason behind them
Choir he wrote to highlight depression and suicide and a spokes person for it and to get help let them know their not alone
Guys come from a family of religion family people and regularly attended church
You can pick any song and cany go wrong done a few collaborations as well

We are fortunate here in Australia for little population we have so many brilliant entertainer's from music movies even sports
Their all over the world but some prefer to stay home
Could give you a list of Aussie singer male and females that'll shock you how powerful their voices are and most write songs as well
Also cross over into TV acting
It's small population so to survive you have to be excellent to make a living out of it and versatile in genre's
