    I just bought my HImalayan only 90 miles in. Your channel is the reason I bought one. I was initially hesitant of all the maintenance required. Your channel convinced me that I can handle the work. Thanks

      Glad to hear that . It’s a simple bike to maintain and that is its biggest advantage in this ELECTRONIC MARKET .

    Great video Ben! The info is great and spot on, I have done the same thing several times. Just so you know I have also bent the front forks! Very costly fix but if all else fails it is something people might have to check.
    Thanks for your efforts and best wishes.
    Bruce.

    This is a really important video for everyone doing their own maintenance with forks / having frequents falls etc. I remember you performing this step when we were fixing the fork emulators, this is such a crucial step, which even mechanics can miss out. After you explain this one to me I use this method in my other motorcycles also to correct the "pulling to one side" issue and it has worked like a charm.... Thank you for posting this one and spreading the knowledge !

    Good one, i used this technique on my MT09- few months ago, its works great. If there is a bend on the fork it makes no sense trying this out. Worth trying it at home before heading to the specialist. Informative..thanks

    Hey man any thoughts on if Himalayan is still a worthy buy? or should I wait for the updated 450 Himalayan or get the 390 ADV since it has become 58k cheaper?
    I love a torquey motor but I would also like to not feel like a fish out of the water on the highways. Need cruising ability of atleast 110.

      Hey there. I own honda shine bs6 motorcycle. Just 1 month ago i had a crash on tram lines @30kmph speed on right side. Right now when i am riding post 40km my right hand is aching. I have checked the handlebar gap-its fine, handle is not going left or right at 60kmph speed, what could be the problem?

    I am facing the same problem now in my adv 390.. I took it to ktm show room and they told me that they wanted to remove the fork and check.. I could try it myself but I don't have torque wrench.. would it be a problem if the torque slightly varies.i have racquet wrench

    • @ONTWOWHEELSBEN
      @ONTWOWHEELSBEN  Před 10 měsíci

      Torque on triple clamps are not much of a deal as long as you don’t over tighten them . Hand tight + half a turn + 1/4 of a turn should do . Later take the bike to a seasoned mech and ask him to double check the tightness. Tightening and loosening of bolts comes from practice

  • @ridinghightidesindia6847
    @ridinghightidesindia6847 Před 3 měsíci

    Good effort but slightly inaccurate. Let caliper stay there on rotor, just loose it little bit, you can loose top yoke bolt too that holds tree stem in chassis neck, just don't touch upper pinch bolts, hold steering in center and give motorcycle CPR from top untill everything comes straight ( don't hold bar grips while pressing). Don't move motorcycle on main stand without tightening all, get help from a friend to tight all bolts. More over this method is applicable for only those motorcycles who have top yoke bolt on top not in side else whole front end will slip from neck.
    Cheers 🍻

    One of the worst motorcycles.. I have bought and sold in 5 months because ... I always be in the service center instead in home😂😂😂😂.. please like who had suffered..why we should do these kind of maintenance and ensure all who are buying vehicle should be a professional mechanic😢Don't buy... 👎 may be this vehicle withstand because of older Himalayan... When you buy a new version will come to know the problems and regret.
