What if we forget everything after being a parent?...I want to share a thing that even our parents went through the same but that time wasn't as exploited as today...if parents say something then there must have been a reason to it ,right?...I mean when my parents stop me for anything then there's a solid reason behind that and I literally try to understand it myself...as the time passes even I understand them... it's not that they don't understand us it's just we don't share anything with them...and yes there's a problem that they don't understand us man but our parents are the one who stand for us every now and then though they are harsh upon us several times!Nobody ,like really nobody can forgive and love you that many times that of a mom and dad. Love them before we loose them.
And who knows that in future even we do the same with our children unknowingly/knowingly?

They prefer to scroll through really stupid forwarded WhatsApp videos whole day but cannot take out 10 minutes to watch something their child has sent. I think what parents get wrong is the part where they protect the child from failures, if he/she doesn't see the world for himself/herself, then the child will never be able to take risk in life. It's okay to be protective but you need to get children to take risks early on in childhood, so that you can make them stronger

They chose to distance themselves from me when i needed them the most at the age of 13. That wasn't the only but the final incident that pushed me into clinical depression and anxiety.
Exactly my story, that's why I distanced myself from my parents.
When I was in 4th grade my toolkit was stolen by someone ..nd I kept it hidden from my mum ..but somehow she came to know bout that nd scolded me for hiding ...next year again I lost my toolkit ..I straight away went to her nd told her in this expectation that she would not scold me but she even scolded me so hard nd beaten me so badly .nd that day I decided I'm never gonna share any thing with her but nd this ruined my whole school life ..untill oneday I shared this vedio to my mum on watsapp and now she is way different and understanding ..nd our bond is getting better ..❤️
I wish every parent could listen to this. The fear of rejection by your parents spoils everything. They punish us for honesty.

parents actually don't care what a child wants to fulfill it. most of the parents are not supportive either and want to make a child do what others have done in the study. my mother was looking girl for my brother and she said "are aajklki ladkiyan kitni saari degrees leke baithi hai ek tum he ho jo tumse kuch nhi hota kisi layak nhi ho tum" what actually a child wants to do they don't understand at all.

Im glad she gave a talk where in the parents are at fault and yet always blame the children. U know my dad seriously read a chit that was written to my bestie (girl) and he thought I wrote it to a boy and he beat be so bad thinking that I was in a relationship and I told him and he was not listening to me at all I'm just tired of everything even though I'm only 14 but my parents are really really toxic I can't believe that they thought that I literally cried the whole night that day and also they really don't give me 1 % privacy once I had a secret diary when I was 7 and then also they always checked it and now that I'm 14 they gone through my thingss but I don't have a secret diary anymore because I already know they will read it so I never made one. 💔

Because the more you want to please them the more they will pin point the mistakes and you will feel embarrassed which can cause damage to yourself! So just enjoy the way you are and do not listen to watch others say to you or think about you and even. Once your old enough you will realise that even your closest friends will turn out to be snakes 🐍. So my suggestion to you is just be happy with yourself, invest in yourself and do the things that actually make yourself happy rather than pleasing others

i lost the bonding of sharing my daily activities with my parents from class 9. They r so overpossesive towards me that sometimes i fll so suffocating. They r so busy with their issues that they don't have anytime to even listen to my issues completely, they react without listening to me completely. that's why i stopped telling them anything. But, they dont understand that how much we are deeply hurt inside without saying or showing to them because we know they will not understand. I have heard you mam for the first time and I can totally relate with this topic. I stopped sharing anything to my parents from class 5th because for everything I say they say either a "No" or "Log kya kahenge". Ye do shabad ne mujhe unse durr kar dia hai. I just want to tell everything to my parents..but they just stop me from doing it...How can I just tell them my problems and accept them to help if they just judge me...they should understand that I can also do everything without getting them noticing it...just I love them and respect them therefore I never do the things which they stop me from doing.
But even they should understand that stopping me is not solution..they should make me understand the consequences and let me take my own decision as it is my life... although they have the right over me but that doesn't mean I have to everytime do everything in their control
