Believe me when I say I appreciate it even more from any of you who’ve put/are still putting your time in-in whatever way that might be. It’s mind-blowing how many people from all ranks and experience levels have said similar things though. I’m quite secure in my thoughts and actions around this, but you guys’ support definitely helps put that forever-doubtful inner voice to rest, so thanks for that.
You doing these reviews helps people out a ton, what you post will help so many people when it comes to choosing a blade to fit their needs. I’ll raise a shot or brew to you come Veterans’ Day.

I served 3 years in the IDF as a conscript & like most others I never considered a career in the military as being what I wanted to do in life. My 3 years in the IDF & the many years of annual active reserve service have set me in good stead & I have no regrets in that respect. ATB Steve in Tel Aviv.
Thanks a lot Steve in Tel Aviv (you know I like rhyme time). Although I didn’t mention it in this video, my sister’s married to a Fin and they have to put their mandatory service time in as well. Totally different from your situation in almost every way from Israel, but my point is that him and I have talked about the difference in our service situations and it’s forced me to think about the outstanding privilege I have of being able to voluntarily release from a military that I voluntarily signed up for. Thanks as always for your support!

Glad you’re at least able to take care of yourself and still have options. My career path abruptly changed as well and took a while for me to reconcile with that. So I applaud you for trying, keeping your head up, and moving forward! Stay safe

Definitely didn’t have a smooth year of initial training, but I sure as hell got off easy and with minimal long-term sacrifice compared to many people, so I’m content. Can’t wait to get those scandi grind fixed-blades back into action 👊 Thanks dude.
