Thank you Allison for sharing this wonderful interview you conducted with the great Cindy Williams. I was very sad to learn of Cindy's passing on January 25, 2023. She is now resting in peace in heaven for all eternity with her funny friend and TV partner Laverne (Penny Marshall). After viewing this conversation, I can tell that Cindy is very authentic, funny and an icon. I love that her motto is "Keep Moving". That is fabulous! :)

I had the opportunity of interviewing Cindy and Penny at the Bronze the Fonz Ceremony in Milwaukee. They were all kind and fantastic.
*_Schlemiel - Schlimazel!_* Watching the show now, it's even better and funnier than before. Such amazing chemistry. Back in the 70's when there were only 3 channels, the entire nation was so much more united in entertainment and cultural trends. L&S were part of the cultural phenomena. It so odd that going on 50 years later, how everything shifts and changes, and with the passing of some of the major players of this show, it makes it more profound, and mysterious. I'm so grateful to have grown up in the era of Laverne & Shirley, Listening to this interview brings back so many memories of my family, of the way things were, of what life seemed like when I had the whole future in front of me.

Really nice interview, of a really nice person. American Graffiti was one of the best movies ever, for me anyway. Sorry we have lost her, sad the whole group is gone from Laverne & Shirley. My age group is going fast now days.

Cindy seems like such a lovely person so relatable on so many levels 💐💐💐 my mother would also tell me something similar to keep moving forward no matter what she’s gone now but that has stayed with me until this day

I agree I hated Two Broke girls because they only relied on dirty humor that wasn't even funny. The Golden girls were the only ones that could get away with some dirty humor because they had other things going for them. Laverne and Shirley were one of the funniest sitcoms ever.
Hollywood is trash now. No imagination, talent, or intelligence. I was lucky to be able to wathc TV when it was the best ever. No more.
I saw an interview with Gary Marshall the creator producer writer pf Laverne and Shirley -- he said that the cast was always complaining, fighting, unhappy -- and he said that in reality that was the high point of their careers for many of them and they should have enjoyed it and embraced it at the time. RIP Cindy
And both of them said that in their autobiographies. Why you gotta be negative?
I remember the first commercial I did nearly deafened the boom operator as I was accustomed to hitting the back row which you don’t do when you do a commercial!!!

It would have been great if she told the story of waiting on Jim Morrison as a waitress at the Whiskey A Go Go when she was 19. It's a classic.

i just watched the whole interview. The interviewer never asked "who were lenny and squiggy?" You misheard.

This interviewer is clueless. Guys currently in their 40s would have seen L&S as kids either toward the end of the series run or in syndication - and OF COURSE they would like the show… it was hilarious and the women were that perfect blend of innocently cute/sexy and amazingly funny.

TV is ruined now due to the woke, equity, diversity, garbage. Cindy Williams lived during the golden days of TV, movies, and theater, when talent, a sense of ethics, and intelligence actually mattered. I loved her show, and her acting. I no longer can stomach watching TV; it's an insult. Great show. Thanks.
Agree! I've been done with tv for years and tried to watch last week and couldn't get interested in a thing. It's like I'm in another country but I'm glad shows like this still exist! She's a nice lady!
