For me this was one of Tamashii's easiest releases to mess up and they seemingly outdid themselves, from hollowing out the head, pretty good head rotation for his design, the tiny legs holding him, comparative for his size pretty good range of accessories having an effect part and I love they are sticking to different shaped brows for expressiveness (although I could take even more exaggeration), and the surprising good butterfly joints considering his wide chest and shoulder are in the way. From looks this is probably 3rd favourite Frieza figure they've done so far, only behind 2nd form and Final Form.
tbh with how beautiful that butterfly joint is, they could have not included the cross arm accessory and you could still do a cross arm. I also find the need for having 2 diff heads odd just because he has a more open eye *higher eyebrows. They could have just engineered it as if the eyebrows were included with the face. In general, lots of extra plastic, could have gone to more accessories like more than 1 finger blast or even an actual beam from the finger blast, battle damage parts etc.
The engineering and design has been excellent on all these Frieza releases! Third form caught my interest the most due to its unique design and I was really interested to see how Tamashii would handle it. Glad to see that they nailed it with this release! The accessories are great too, happy we get another energy effect. Thanks for another W review bro :)
the tiny lower body really kills it for me. He is not even supposed to be any smaller than the second form as it was established that he was getting bigger and bigger with each form which made the fourth form such a surprise. This just looks silly, they could have just reused the second form body, make a new head, shoulders and add spikes to the back and that would have been just fine. Not feeling this scale at all..

mine came in the mailbox yesterday. love it as well. while I still rate 2nd form above it, it's probably my 2nd favorite figure of the year. having all 4 forms posed next to eachother feels pretty comfy. Got my fingers crossed for that 100% Final form one to get announced sometime soon.

Xenomorph Freeza definitely really nice figure and has better hips split than 2nd Form Freeza, 3rd form creeped me out as kid back then ,as for height Dragon ball super broly showed that 3rd form Freeza is a smaller than his 2nd form. almost done with Freeza's Forms just that Mecha Freeza, 100% Full power, Golden Form 2.0 and his Black Freeza form.
Such a shame they messed up the scale. It should have same body than second form. They already had half of the work done. I wonder If we can mix both figures to have the proper size.
I guess his tail is not detachable, right? You could have used the sane tail from second form. I think they NEVER show the complete tail in the anime/manga, since it was cut by Krillin during the fight with second form frieza, hence the figure has a cut tail...this also means that the tail of second and third form should be identical, because in changing from second form to third, frieza only really teansforms the shoulders and the head

What kind of photoshop edits did you use to get the action figure in the intro to have their eyes glow so nicely like that?
Mainly masking out each individual part and using the brush tool!
Man this 3rd form just needed an upscaled lower half. Im gonna grab him for my collextion but he looks very off and i have zero posing ideas.
