Bleach by Nirvana (I was in the back seat of a ford escort that had 2 15’s in the trunk going to a party in a beach with a 12 pack beside the first time I heard Bleach. And Facelift by Alice In Chains.
With that said I was always pissed when the top 4 as they were always referred were Nirvana, Pearl Jam, AIC and Soundgarden…always in that order, when I always loved Stone Temple Pilots more than Pearl Jam and Soundgarden. Albeit I really dug Soundgarden after ‘94’s SuperUnknown.

It gave us '90s rock (from Grunge to the Prodigy and everything else you could imagine), PlayStation, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, etc, WWF Attitude Era, France 1998 (the last great World Cup), the Simpsons (I know it started in 89, but it started to really shine in 1990) and arguably the best decade for movies (along with the '70s). Think of all them, across all the genres: Terminator 2; Jurassic Park; HEAT; Scream; Clerks; Se7en; Titanic; Almost Famous.

      MANUSIA PERTAMA - RUPA GAMBAR TUHAN ( Kejadian 1 : 26 ) .
      Terkena DOSA di dalam TAMAN EDEN ( Kejadian 3 : 4 - 6 )
Akibatnya ROH KEMULIAAN RUPA GAMBAR TUHAN terlepas dari mereka sehingga mereka TELANJANG ( Kejadian 3 : 7 ) . Dan mereka menjadi ORANG .
MANUSIA PERTAMA menjadi ADAM , dan PEREMPUAN - TULANG RUSUK menjadi HAWA .
Di luar TAMAN EDEN mereka melihat hewan-hewan saling kawin-mengawin , maka mereka mencontohnya , sehingga lahirlah kita semua Anakcucu ADAMHAWA dari SPERMA PERSETUBUHAN seperti hewan-hewan saling kawin-mengawin ( Kejadian 4 : 1 )
MANUSIA KEDUA - FIRMAN TUHAN ( YOHANNES 1 : 1 - dstnya ) - TUHAN YESUS KRISTUS dicobai dikenai DOSA di PADANG GURUN oleh si IBLIS ( MATIUS 4 : 1 - 11 ) . Tetapi TUHAN YESUS KRISTUS berhasil mengalahkan menaklukkan si IBLIS .
      .

He was the best frontman at no point of any time. He was decent, but certainly not great. And he simply cannot be compared to mega-talents like Chris Cornell, Eddie Veddar, Layne Staley, and so many more from his era. He couldn’t even compare to Kurt Cobain. Their music was good, but not that good.

Met the DeLeo bros back in 99 when they were Talk Show. They were playing the Palladium with the Foo Fighters. I went outside before the Foos finished and Robert was chilling by the tour bus. Talked to me for about 30 mins about Scott, music in general--advised me to learn music theory--which I did a few years later.
Super down to earth, nice guy.
I later saw STP with Scott in Reno, NV some years later. One of the best shows I ever attended.

I was feeling nostalgic this past weekend and I ran across this little gem. Talk about a time machine! I had a chance to see them live two or three times and they always bought a show. I remember once when Scott got angry at the crowd for not staying on their feet during a show..."It's a $*(# SHOW PEOPLE! - Get up, one day this will be gone!" And boy was he right.

Music basically died in the mid 90’s. Music was incredible from 65-mid 90’s. Last almost 30 years since you can’t name 5 bands that even compare to 40 or 50 bands from that era.
