  • This video is requested by one of my subscribers, Jasveer! Besides using 10 leaves, now I also slightly change the method to calculate the radius of the iris. So now we will use the thinnest border possible (I think). Set the speed to 0.5 to watch this video in real-time! I hope this will be useful for you all! Thanks for watching!

    All night thinking about displacement = frame * 5/100
    angle = math.atan2(displacement, 5.5). You are professional . Good job !!!

      Oh, that angle! Yes because the relation between the leaves displacement and the top part rotation is not linear, so I have to code it. On 1:08 you can see that from frame 0 to 100, the leaf is moving 5 unit to the right. And on 2:59 you can see that pole that is attached to the leaf is 5.5 units away from the center. The top part is connected to the leaves through this pole. So the top part rotation must follow this pole position. Atan is used to transform position to angle.

    how do you know the angle ?

    • @hilmiyafia
      @hilmiyafia  Před 2 lety +1

      A circle is 360 degrees, so if you have 10 leaves, each leaf will be 36 degrees apart.
