"Wrath you prescribe to me..."
Good God what a line, someone give this man his own movie! I can never hear the words read aloud by TES enough. Makes my hair stand up everytime.
🎉
"And then I met the two. Then I met humanity. I was charmed beyond belief. Such insignificant creatures, barely more than monkeys, who dared to emerge only during the day, when the Yeren slumbered. But in spite of their meager existence, they would laugh and dance and sing and weep all through their lives, which to me seemed to pass in the blink of an eye. And that pure joy in their humble existence, lacking any higher purpose or meaning, overwhelmed me and overtook my every waking thought"
Pangloss, god of dragons, gifter of fire to Adam, the first
DJ is one of the best writers I’ve ever seen. Period.
I see the uiu division of the fbi he created as the scp foundations annoying little brother that just wants to help his big brother out
The way the author keeps some characters from the continuity's ancient history alive into the present is very much similar to the "Gardens of the Moon" book universe.
@@darkwater72 Oh yeah this is Malazan as FUCK. I love it.
They're incredibly talented for sure. I'd love to see kaktus start writing real novels at some point, I'm sure they'd be great.
THIS IS PURE UNADULTERATED TRASH. It makes me hate scp...
Oh we getting a three hour video? We eating good tonight folks.
Hope you've enjoyed your vacation the exploring series
This is a rerelease of a two part story
@@asturias0267 i know

@@asturias0267 does that make it not a 3 hour video somehow, or what am i missing here?
2:57:00 "Go now willingly, or be undone." Hits so hard, Ogier is next level awesome in the finale!!
Probably my personal favourite of the kaktusverse. Ogier doing his job even after all these years.
I'm kinda hoping that he can do for the other knights what he did for himself, separating man from Demon. I get the feeling them, Cain and Abel are gonna have to deal with Adam eventually
1:19:57
"When there is silence, I hear the whispering of that pleading voice, begging for restitution. For vengeance. For wrath."
I've listened to this article like 10 times now... and I still keep having goosebumps every time I hear this line.
Wrath you prescribed me. Very well. I shall aquise.
Love the kaktusverse, gotta be one of my favorite pieces of horrifying yet beautiful works of interconnected literature
Exactly what I was going to say. Word for word, really! Well I would have misspelled a wrod or to...
I absolutely agree
I have to listen to them in small spurts. I honestly don't know why people like these long ass ones, especially when most of the writing is spent describing things in needless detail. But whatever. Not like there's any new stuff for the moment.
@@CodeguruX I like to let it just wash over me, taking in the broad strokes since there is no point trying to remember every detail. Then again, I sleep to stuff like this..
@@CodeguruX tbh while reading the actual files wasn’t as thrilling and immersive as when Exploring Series explains it. He has basically made long scp files into something everyone has a potential to enjoy
This is such a cool take on so many SCP staples. The Daeva as arguably benevolent keepers of ancient memory and ritual? Incredible. Also one of the coolest takes on the Scarlet King yet.
It is way beter thans stephen king by miles
@@seandolan5681 … You good bro? I think you misread that pretty catastrophically.
@@2yoyoyo1Unpluggedi thought there were group directly descendants of The daevites, as they themselves Are no longer working group of interest, But The descendants Are.
Is this even scp anymore? This canon could easily be its own series of novels it’s insane the amount of effort that’s been put into it
It genuinely should be!
I alway fall asleep to your bedtime stories on Sunday night. My sleep paralysis demon loves your work.
Oh, those grim nightmares I’ve woken up from, hearth aches from pounding and sweating like never before.
Those few times I’ve had nightmares after falling asleep to SCP stories, made me take from one week to month of no scp at all.
1:40:15
WOAH!
“Son of Mangg” ?!
“Explorer” ?!
Do you think this might be a subtle nod to OUR Mangg from Dj Kaktus????
Pretty rad if so!
Oh it definitely is, DJK has commented on these videos a few times and is always floored that more of his stuff gets covered by TES. I would be baffled to hear that it’s NOT a reference.
this one of djkatus's best stories and your voice just makes it even better.
please never stop doing SCP content.
Ogier pulling an absolute chad move and not only fully accepting and conquering his transformation is beautiful alone, but for the dishonored wizard-knight to then look a god in the eyes and say, "Be gone or be undone." Absolutely metal.
God, Cactus really just made his own universe and tangentially added in some SCP jargon at certain points to still technically make it in the SCP Universe, huh?
And bless him for doing it. This stuff is cool
The SCP community is pretty involved and meta. There is actively more lore being added or is considered canon.
This is probably the only community I can think of rn that can pull it off super well!
I didn't think I was listening to an SCP video at first. It felt like a normal mid evil story. But I guess that's the best part...we have several ways to interpret these stories.
I don't wanna be that guy but it's actually kaktus
@@darragho6358 it's okay. Everyone has a pet peeve as long as you see it. I correct non fictional facts in fiction stories. I sometimes spend awhile writing knowing no one will read it. It's my vent I guess.
"Magical enchantments....and a big rock" the answer to a lot of problems
Please keep the content coming. It NEVER NEVER NEVER disappoints.
I've gotten to a point that I can't sleep without listening to TES
Inorite? I think the subconscious finds comfort in Mangg's narrated cosmic horrors.
Much better than being alone with my thoughts 😅
Honestly I don't know who's a bigger Chad, Hector or Ogier
The last time I was this early, I was a Daevite scribe fleeing the Sarkic rebellion. I had a book with me, has anyone seen it?
this goes UNBELIEVABLY hard, I loved every second of it
Oh how we have missed you, Mangg. We all are happy you are taking time off since you have been a constant source of audiomedia for us to consume.
We appreciate every bit of efford you put in this videos. Most of us can't sleep without you reading us stories of ethereal dreams.
Truly, thank you.
"Have you ever heard of the department of abnormalities?"
That's how you end a story, can't wait for the sequel.
2 AM is peak scp hours prove me wrong
Ah yes, the four knights of Apollyona
-Sex Offender
-Nerd
-Anger Issues
-Simp
the 4 kinds of SCP writers
I love djkaktus, his shit is next level. Can't wait for the ancient sarkic city one.
When will there be more by DJkactus ?
Bro i fell asleep and woke up to this 2 hours and 40 minutes in💀
You’re doing Asems work, my guy!
Keep em coming!
The best SCP canon and the best SCP from Kaktusverse in one video. Narrated by the best story-teller. Perfection 👌
Your mom is perfection
@@williepete1969 you should see yours.
Oh, right. Sorry.
1
It’s abit mid tbh
27:50 That was some antediluvian dark humor right there
I don't think the Kaktusverse is something I would have been very interested in reading for myself, but your enthusiasm for covering it is contagious; I really enjoy your videos about it!
Always a joy to see another appear, and 3 hours this time!
Ugh I want the continuation so bad. Awesome story telling.
this is such an awesome story, as a historian i see the markers of all great epics and creation myths. very well strung together and woven to be a fluid story through time and locations
Well deserved vacation after darkening my mondays for a year with THE BEST SCP content
1:53:20 So this is how a dynasty falls... Not with a bang, but with a BLOOP.
Even in the blood there is knowledge that humanity ought not know?
That's what The SCP foundation exists for.
The demon Ogier sounds like he is totally hot.
I love djkaktus, and I love these videos.
Can't wait for part 2.
This is actually calming to listen to
Ah. Now the video is indeed a great treat. Thank you for the upload🙏🙇♀️
This fellow is one of the better writers in the SCP universe. Very impressive.
Oh man, that ending was dramatic haha. Love the DoA
Has there been any follow up on the storyline you spoke about at the end? Has that been written? Next week is February. Which means new material, right? Your vacation is over Feb. 1st? Hope you had a relaxing month, but definitely ready for you to be back reading new stories every week!
Djkaktus is working on something according to his Twitter
@@Discotekh_Dynasty i cant wait to meet adam alsem
@@rubenortega3033 same here ever since that line at the end of 6666. Curious to actually see what's left of that fai princess as well if we ever get to see.
@@Discotekh_Dynasty Awesome. Thank you for the update on that!!
i love that ur on vacation and still found a minimium effort way to entertain us
Genuinely fine work.
Both in writing and narration.
Respect to you both
Absolutely the best in the kaktusverse. Cool to see ogier get a happy ending. As we know it’s very rare in scp’s
The kaktusverse is the best. It should be explored more.
This was one of the most impressive stories I ever had the chance to enjoy. Thank you very much for your narration.
I loved how ogier could gain some sort of redemption. Epic stuff indeed.
Love the Kactusverse I hope we get more Pataphysics in the future.🤞
If I have one recommendation for The Exploring Series, regardless if this is seen or not, you should explore deep into the Group of Interest known as "Dark Sushi" or "Yami Sushi" from the Japanese branch. It is highly underrated, very obscure to those who are from the English branch. I also have a few underrated GOIs when it comes to the English branch for The Exploring Series to dive deep into, those being 1. Greazeburger Incorporated, 2. Ambrose Restaurants, 3. Vikander-Kneed Technical Media or maybe even IJAMEA.
I prefer the mexican branch green tacos, its chaos equivalent as white burrito and the government is call red chimichangas
@@heliosspecialistarrogant7031 ok
I'm pretty sure that Ambrose restaurants got done recently
What an absolutely fantastic series of pieces.
HELL YES this is the exact super cut I was hoping for
Holy shit I was listening to CZcams while I fell asleep and woke up to listening to this. Ironically, this story was incredibly familiar almost like something I’ve heard of in a dream before
*OH BOY! IT’S 3AM!!*
Not sure about others but I would love to see a video about hfy (humanity fuck yeah)
Seems like a really cool and unique contrast to the way most scifi stories portray humans
Yes! Awesome. I also can't wait for what the follow up to this is going to be. Will Asem return and wield his crown once more?
I visualize javert as the friendly looking total drama Sasquatch
I know that in the SCP framework of mythos and stories there is no single official cannon, but the DJ Kaktus series of mythos around Mekhane, the daevites etc, is so much more worth considering than the over-complicated garbage by rounderhoouse
Based.
I loved that closing sequence! So comically straightforward! 🤣
This has hecome such an epic on par with most classics of old.
Do I dare postulate a possible screenplay or tv series in one of many possible futures?
Good work with the narration...
The visuals of this video are absolutely stunning and they alone warrant watching
My go to when I have to get up for work and need to sleep. TES Thank you bro.
What I'd like to see in part 3 Adam El Asem heal Relevyn, and raise the ancient city back above ground
That title has more to unpack than a victim of domestic violence at a shelter
Lol. Saved to the colloqialism arsenal
Gross dude
@@Discotekh_Dynasty how exactly? I wasn't glorifying domestic violence. Just stating a fact. When they leave those situations, victims of DV usually take a lot of stuff with them.
This series in particular has influenced my book.
I will watch it again, and nobody can stop me
I was watching another youtube video when I fell asleep last night, at some point in my slumber this video came on and I could hear it in my dream. My mind shaped my dream to be narrated by this and I will say it was the most surreal fever dream I've ever experenced woke up 2.5 hours in and was lik okay lemme save this for later but NEVER AGAIN. great video, im back to rewatch 🤣
I approve of this disclosure...
I desperately need the Kaktusverse to be a miniseries
Dude I was listening to this at the gym with my pods and when the ogier speech happened it rattled my brain with adrenaline
Project Paragon is probably my favourite piece of fiction. Ever. I am utterly obsessed and I hope to god that Kactus keeps going with it to a conclusion. I NEED to know... 😅
Your renditions are perfect. Thank you so much for all your hard work!!
I am under extreme stress rn and this video let me escape reality from a little, thank you
We still ain't doing well....
Nothing better than start the week with your videos Mangg, thanks for bringing an amazing content for us every time, hope you are having a good time in your rest.
Thank you, Exploring Series.
Great stuff...thanks so much for the effort.
Can't wait for next week!
Thanks 4 all the hard work.
I get how Calvin Lucian and Adam are mixed into this with their history aka what happened during 'The Way It Ends' of the Oroboros Cycle. But if this universe takes place in the same universe as the oroboros cycle then there still a missing piece yet to be fitted into all this: the administrator. I mean he did play around with the Aaron Siegal's O5 council so Calvin and the killsquad kill them and Calvin becomes the new O5-1. What's to say he's not doing it again with Calvin and Adam
If I had to guess; Calvin, being the Mad Bastard that he is, might try and convince Adam to fight the Administrator with him 👀
This is the first video of yours I’ve seen and seriously you just spoke very strong themes that have come up recently, explaining that I need to be alone and it’s not personal and coming to terms with my awkwardness when I was younger
And seeing stuff at night??! I used to have sleep paralysis all through childhood and saw shadow people and would hear them talk sometimes. I thought it was normal haha
Thank you !!!! 💛 def subscribing ☺️
god i hope we get another kaktusverse piece soon, maybe with less abstract poetry.
This was amazing
Thanks for the video!
2:05:58 ROCK AND STONE!
Djkactus is THE scp author
Your ability to subvert expectations in your horror videos is impressive - I never know where the story is going to go.
Now, a proper night's rest.
Kaktusverse is fire!
Love these videos
I am so happy I stayed home today
Time to binge
@@TheExploringSeries.. Fuck no!
This video is the only onw from your channel that shows up either in reccommendations or in autoplay.
Yay just in time for my bedtime 😊
I'm awake all night great video again brother the work you put into the videos is unreal 10 out of 10 absolute brilliant work now iv to work all day without any sleep well worth it it's gonna be a killer of a day I never learn this second time watching a video all night if I had of went to bed I wouldn't of woke back up great work again pal soon as I'm back bit sleep well lot of sleep straight to next video
I knew this is DJKaktus from the beginning.
Another djkaktus work fully compiled by TES. This is grand!
Will leave a like once more.
Just discovered your page. This is awesome
Awesome adult bed time stories.
How was the memory throne supposed to work if a random Dream Sasquatch hadn't shown up?
By Relivine being the voice of the memory, but he had already grown too old, hence why they need the dream.
Great art work here.
i can't wait for the day an SCP is used as a fillabuster in congress
Solid story thanks for reading
