Wow. Aside from Thile, I don't know anyone that can get that kind of tone out of a mandolin. It's so controlled and sweet. Blows me away every time.
I love Sierra, she is so awesome and so kind. Got to meet her at Blue Ox a few years ago. Not a pretentious bone in her body!

These two are like mandolin angels to me! We don't have anything much like this style, with an octave and F-style.. it's celtic mandolin and bouzouki over here, which is grand too. Any chance yous could come over and play at the Barbican Centre in London? You'd go down a storm, I guarantee it!

I can't find Tennessee Waltz anywhere in there but DAMN
She plays it just before these two as a regular sequence in her shows, so I think it got labelled per what she played instead of what the vid shows. It is not spectacular like the two of these.

Not just cleaner but the tonality is incomparable. Those gravity defying runs are out of this world. She is also worlds better at delivery. He really should just stick to dobro because he is way better at that than the other stuff he plays.
