Var isn't the issue, it's officials not using it properly. We should get rid of them instead, plus why didn't English football not follow rest of Europe by using automatic offside technology? Which the Premier League few weeks back are putting that in next season.

Is VAR used more successfully elsewhere, I wonder? Unfortunately, we've seen that VAR doesn't stop bad decisions or even possible corruption. In fact, it lets them legitimise dodgy decisions by overturning whatever decision they want or letting a bad decision go by saying they couldn't intervene because it wasn't "a clear and obvious mistake" or whatever. Then we have the Real-Bayern situation where the ref decides to throw the rules out the window and just end the game while Bayern are attacking, and VAR couldn't do anything about it.
But, for the 'was it or wasn't it a goal - let's draw the lines' thing alone, it's a bad thing.
Plus, it really doesn't matter how many times the ref or we look at a tackle for example. We can all still have different opinions about it, especially when seen at different speeds and from different angles..
It's the numpties who operate it that are the issue not the technology.

Thing is, Dunk, Liverpool are in a forthcoming final League game against the Manx and we need a goal to win, Nunez scores, he's onside (no, really), and the linesman flags him offside. We can all see on our own home VAR via Sky or TNT that he was a foot onside and we lose the league to them. Criminal. It's only an example, ok. What then? The linesmen can't keep up with Darwin and makes a guess, he's wrong, swear words all over the shop. My pizza's splashed all over the Samsung and my girlfriend stroke lodger is on a windup week and says VAR would have given the goal and we're on the piss for a week.You can't win, Dunk, human frailties are everywhere.
Get rid and just accept that the ref may make a mistake just go back to how it used to be. Goal line technology yes the rest can go. However it won’t they’ll never vote against it
I hate it but don't think they will vote it out tbh but at the same time if we have to keep it then they need rules in to help use it better offside needs to be automated like in the champions league I also think the refs should get to gether and say right these are reds no matter what and these are handball no matter what and stay consistent that's what we really want consistency

I preferred the old way of discussing how crap the ref was . But it lasted l what 48 hrs .
Now we’re still talking about var decisions 8 months later
Problem is now if we do scrap it we’ll be moaning var would have stopped that .
