I’m open to not using the mali robe anymore, but I guess I’m gonna need some help seeing a gear set with 100% pip and 100% accuracy before I’m ready to give it up.
the malistate robe is still the only solution for me who doesnt care about the guild, yes there is a set that tehnicly works also but personaly think its to much pain so to get perfect pips and acc and have nice damage you would wanna rock dragoon hat boots and ammulet w aeon ring and atheme, for pet you go with full damage frill w setbonus mount and you end up with pefect pips and accurcy 215 damage and not to sure about pierce, the only real benefit i see is you can keep on using the cards the dragoon set gives you
I would say the robe is still decent but it is time to slowly convert over to raid robes. I myself i still use malirobe on my storm however im doing raids a lot now so im hoping to get the robes and not use mali anymore. like ok so. with storm i have aeon boots and helm, mali robe, aeon ring athame and flygob. i get 216 dmg with 42 pierce. but if i do Malevolent helm and nullity robe, i can get 217 dmg with 49 pierce. less resist but resist doesnt really matter anymore. especially in raids.
Not that i necessarily disagree but malistaire is more than enough for any of the end game content supplemented with the other pieces of high end gear. Most storms can still rock 200+ damage and 45+ pierce with mali and most storms have mali robe. Why bother raiding or making pets if you have mali? Maybe for pvp sure but high rank storm wizards arent using malistaire for pvp anyway. So their clearly not the target of the video.
My personal favorite setup as of right now is: Dragoon Hat Aeon Robe Aeon Boots Aeon Wand Aeon Athame Dragoon Amulet (for accuracy and squall) Aeon Ring Any Triangle Deck with Pip Chance depending what you socket on athame you‘re missing 5% Accuracy (on 65% Spells) or 5% Power Pips. With the Nullity Robe you can get to perfect pips and accuracy so ill have to get it to try it out. (This is for Storm btw)
I’m still rocking mali hat and boots at current 140. I attempted to farm for dragoon gear but it seriously isn’t worth the grind for a bit more damage and health. I’ll probably still use what I have until I can get aeon gear
I agree that the eternal gear is a really good upgrade from darkmoor robes. Darkmoor stuff really lacks on health. Plus the ring and athame give more power pip chance than some gear so you can socket accuracy on that or the deck.
Malistaire robe is still better because you can't even begin a raid without enough people let alone get the piece of gear you actually want, as well as the fact pierce only matters if you have to attack a mob that resists you and you can't use a prism
@UCTIdvRHObH56c7X5mqthJmA 1. Pierce jewels exist for a reason 2. Using eternal robe or nullity robe, you can still get at least 40% pierce with the best setups 3. When facing bosses, shadow pips can take rounds to generate, and depending on the bosses' cheats you are better off blade/trapstacking to kill them 4. Frenzy/blade AOE works on mobs just fine if you have the pierce for it Please for the love of god stop trying to defend mali robe being BIS now, we just approached level 160 and it shouldn't still be the best storm robe in the game 60 levels later
I think the Eternal robes (and Highland robes) are the best PvE alternatives because you gain an enormous amount of health and better stats overall without sacrificing TOO much pip chance/acc

Exactly. You can still base fizzle. And then you need a guild for raids right? In pve especially for farming mali robe is perfect for storm because of storm accuracy needs.
naw nullity robe is still 10000 times better than mali all u do is socket a 13 acc jewel instead of a 10 pip jewel and run malevolent hat and get your pip chance back up to 102
@@ElmoGetsLaid I didn't think of that. You're right. But you have to down grade to malevolent helm to do that and I need a guild for that robe. But the robe by itself along with malevolent does cover those bases.

you end up at a net positive, but also, depending on school or your willingness to raid you don't even need

Every Novus enemy has like 40+ resist, and as stated in the video, both Raid and Non-Raid solutions are easily obtainable.

For storm, malistaire robe was the only robe you should wear until level 150 because of the massive accuracy, no other gears come close.
