@@TheFishLocker - John - You can always keep that little cliffside opening @09:15 in mind in case of inclement weather or possibly for a single overnight campsite. I know that the UK has badgers and some other similar mammals but I don't believe you have any cave bears left from prehistoric times. Might be an interesting video possibility for a short tour when you have torches and when someone knows you are poking around inside the place. I'd be your belay guy if you want to give it a go sometime or other!
Isn't that essentially how Blue John Rock [Fluorite] was originally found and is now a very rare and precious UK mineral from only one source that I know. Ms. Hannah wouldn't mind a bit of it or something similar if you stumbled across something like it! ;-)

Very good for adders along there. Once on a fishing trip quite close to where you shot this video I saw a kestrel hovering and then dive down to finally take off again with an adder in its talons. It could only have been an adder because it was too big to be a slow worm and the habitat is totally inhospitable for grass snakes. Seeing the kestrel with its prey made my day and I also managed a few bass. Great video by the way-informative, intelligent and articulate-qualities often missing on many CZcams efforts.

Stunning scenery. I have no head for heights so this is brilliant for me. 😍

I used to go there as a kid when I lived in Cornwall near shortlands end. I went to primary school there back in 1970. My Mother was born in St Agnes as was my sister. I was born in North Devon. I love looking in the rock pools. St Agnes has or may be had a lovely tea shop practically on the beach. Surfers would go there as well.

Has it changed much since you were young?

@@TheFishLocker Yes. Last time I was in Cornwall last year, I got lost. Even truro has changed a great deal as has my old school. that was a single building that we all went to and had lessons in the same hall with multiple black boards. The walk home was the best bit. I lived not far from there in a farm cottage. We would wake up with cows in the back garden. Even three Milestone has completely changed, I no longer recognise it.

Spent many happy childhood holidays in St Agnes 😀
These days I go to the Outer Hebrides for my seaside fix. White sand, turquoise sea and hardly anyone on the beaches!

in the states the large rock would need a sign placed upon it. "do not eat rock". " it may contain rock".
