Hello, Im a low spender, I want to use martel/Scipio, because I am working on alex/harald, and would like to know if it is a solid pair to keep until I have other options

For F2P and early game, Martel & Epic Scipio is excellent pair.. Those healing & counterattack damage are so good, and you get better trade than any epic secondary commander
I love using scipio behind charles. It not only adds tankiness but also increases his skill damage by 30% on top of his expertised 10%. i get so many good trades in the open field simply because they barely get targeted. truly an underrated march

if shields dont stack, does that mean that Scipio/richard could work?
@@thepharoh5048 Richard doesn't have a shield ability.
Although shields do not stack (within the same turn), overlapping shields are not always completely wasted. If youre taking considerable amounts of damage, where the shield's usage is used up in just 1 turn and on the next turn if a shield activates, you havent necessarily lost anything.
Shields don’t stack, but they also often won’t overlap.

Been waiting for this. I have also watch maybe around 4 to 5 times that old CM guide but this one is really the updated one. Hopefully next will be a Richards updated guide. Thanks again boss Chisgule. It helps a lot.
I invested legendary heads into Martel during Kvk1 to get him to 5511 and I’m in the end game now. He was my best march kvk1, helped field fights and sunset canyon early game. For me, he helped get kills every kvk (second best march for two kvk2’s) and still is useful as he was paired with Scipio Prime last kvk. I don’t plan on retiring him unless I get Pakal or new Infantry commander released in 6 months. I’m running 3 infantry marches now.

For kvk1, is bjorn+sun or cm+sun is best for open field and lots of KP? Bjorn and sun are 5555, martel is 5511
I’ve wanted to use Charles/Cj. Would like to see you talk about Richard. I personally tell people to only invest in him if your bringing multiple inf marches. I think he’s a good addition to an inf murder ball
Short honest answer:
1. Season of Conquest: NoPe. Your Marte will get squashed by Raw power commander combinations. Leave him for open field but I benched mine.
2. KvK 1-3: Performs well. Especially on KvK 1-2. Beware Chisgule commandment #1 Thou shall never spend golden universals on a gold key commander.
A great commander. Gold key cost made him a value and his longevity is little underestimated. Mehmed is the only other Gold Key commander I still use in SOC and he didn't get nearly as much time on the field as CM did or even still does. He was part of a legit Garrison pair for three seasons. You will still find him on a lot of city walls in the late game. Also he is not the worst back up captain to have in AOO for garrisons that are never as organized as you hope. He was part of a rally pair with YSG for seasons 1 & 2. CM/Alex was my "go to pair" for Ruins or Altar of darkness in the early game and today he is still part of my murderball with Scipio Prime. For all the kudos Alex gets for versatility I actually think CM is arguably one of the most versatile commanders in the game. He was the anchor of all my early game and early SOC muderballs.
12:15 This section of the video makes me wanting a cavalry-garrison-defense commander, which i'm non entirely sure it exist, the theory behind this is that it has 36% skill damage reduction by talent only, which sounds extremely op. I could see in the future a "Mythic quality" commander that on its active skill, debuff enemy's stats on aoe (no damage) while providing healing and Kusonoki-type of immunity debuff. I would like also a passive like sun-tzu, where it gives generic buffs + stronger buffs for cavalry units / as a leader of a garrison, to give a stronger option against the new balancing changes of new update, buffing rallies
Since June 26, 2020 he has been on my wall. his buddy has went from Sun Tsu to YSG to Zhuge and considering Heraclius. My Martel is 7 gh from expertise which leads to the march speed wasted in garrison.
Good that you bring gold commander up, I've been playing RoK every day for three years and my Charls is 5,5,1,1.
Then several new gold key commanders came out so in 2082 maybe Charls can be used for me as a low spending player.
Seriously, if you can't spend money every day, there's no point in playing this game.
For gold key commanders is just to forget.
Some are okay as secondary commanders of course if you can afford to buy real commanders.
Please Chisgule, can you help higlight this and make this game a bit better for low spenders or non spenders.
You don't have much of a chance against spending players anyway, so why not give players a little more gold key commanders.

Guan/Charles has been amazing because of the amazing stats and tankiness that guan is missing, amazing march speed, and when ppl focus guan because he is high threat Charles kicks into high gear… great pairing and I do Scipio/Alex

Back in the day i spent around 200 universals to max Martel for kvk2, Because of some weird timing we had the Alex wheel almost at the very end of kvk2. Used Martel Ysg in kvk2, Martel Sun Tzu in kvk3, and currently trying out combos in SoC. Haven't regretted spending the universals for a moment. I'd argue Martel might be the only gold key commander worth spending universals in certain situations. Nice video!
I have him maxed, as well. I'm glad I did it, even though everyone gives me crap. He was the closest I had to max when I made the decision.

It depends on how you see it. You May have extra martel gh but how many yesrs to maxim him out? By the time you max him you would not be using him as much as you would in the first kvks. What I think is to upgrade the first 2 skills even using universal gh and then just try luck at tabern

Thanks for another great video. I would really love to see some videos on lag, transparency and the other issues that are really costing us in this game. The profile of these issues really needs to be raised so that Lilith / Legou take them seriously and you have the platform for this. According to ROKs support lag doesn't exist and its my internet affecting everyone around the world who thinks they are experiencing lag. New commanders and stuff are nice, however, it often feels they are just there to distract us from the real problems, the problems that at in the key moments make the game such a disappointment. Thanks fro taking the time to read this.
Chisgule, make video for city commanders good for Bank. I believe most bank at lvl 25 but low power and kills. I understand peace shield is the best to keep the city safe in kvk, but in home kd, roque normally attack as when they want. So base on 1 to 3 roque governors attacked a bank, which commander will keep the city safer than other commanders that is chosen at the garrison.

Scipio/Charles is target down quickly, Charles/Scipio isn't target fast so you have more chances to do more AOE and Kills by being ignore we all know in a massive war we all use simple graphics you can't see the secondary.
My Charles/Scipio gives me 90% of good trades and good value I always the last one to get kill 😂 but with ton of Kills.
16:00 well Charles Martel increase the dmg by 30% so we can consider that % as his contribution for active skill dmg so
Sun tzu hit 5 targets that 5000 dmg factor+20% is 6000,+30% is 7500
Charles has 1500 dmg fsctor when sun tzu first ability hit 5 targets
What ever if you hitting just 3 targets you are dealing 900 dmg factor👌🏼
Why wouldn’t you start Charles and 2nd Skippy though ? His defense talent tree helps better than skippy support n versatility please comment back on why
I don't understand - it says TROOPS led by this commander deal increased damage for 4 sec - so how does it affect secondary commander skill dmg?

Hey chis. I almost have t4 in the first days in the new kingdom. I have only spent money for speedups and gems. I can't seem to get any legendary commanders from the gold keys. Does this have anything to do with luck or power?
luck, but as a normal player you just need ysg and have to rush up to vip 14 asap

Hey Chis, my kingdom that ive been in since kvk 2 is asking f2p players to leave regardless of how much they contribute, which kind of sucks but i wanted to get some advice on how to find a good kingdom. I will probably go back to kvk2, and ive never had to go look for a new kd off my continent.

you just give out titles to people who ask for one. You just volunteer to give out titles
Queen gets 15% gathering speed, General gets 5% attack and 5% defence, prime minister gets 15% resource production and 10% building speed.

Martel has always been decently strong, whether in Garrison or in open field 😅. This video definitely helps though, I needed this to know who to pair him with. Always did Martel YSG in Open field a lot.

I migrated back and am in kvk 3 and I can’t seem to settle on a flag garrison talent tree. Does anyone have any suggestions. I can’t seem to find a consensus that isn’t outdated .

I use Charles Montel very little I only use him as a Garrison free to play players should focus on Calvary I can give you good Calvary builds that are easy to obtain in early game and allow you to grow for a long duration of time and invest for a long duration of time
F2p should never focus on Calvary....

okay weird, i followed your talents but my cm is healing 615 per skill when doing barbs, im running 3 marches doing barbs. cm+sun tzu 2nd march pelagius cao cao, 3rd march is joan lohar. i dont under stand what triggers it

It might work, but I really dislike it as an investment. Alex cj generally considered the stronger pairing.
