  • I have been running the 37x12.5R17 Firestone Destination Tires for nearly the past three years and accumulated just shy of 30,000 miles. I know many of you have been interested in a long-term review so here you have it!
I am not sponsored, nor have I been paid to make this video.
In this video I will tell you the price I purchased them at and who I went through to buy them, my on-road performance review including treadwear, ride comfort, noise, and handling. Then I will talk about off-road performance review including the terrains these tires have seen, typical off-road tire pressure, and durability. I will also cover details on how I did a 5 tire rotation and a chalk pattern to identify the pressure to run these tires at for an even treadwear.
Specs of the tires during this review:

Hey there Larry, thanks for checking out my video! I was definitely happy with them while I was running them!

I got less than a year out of a brand new set. Unless there is something seriously wrong with my Jeep (even though there is nothing wrong with the Goodrich Mud Terrains that I replaced them with now going on 3 years) then I'd have to say that they wear pretty poorly.

That is interesting, I think you are the first I have heard of this issue from. My tires were on my Jeep for just under 3 years and performing general tire maintenance including regular rotations and maintaining tire pressure mine still have much life left even sitting stacked in my garage.

I found it odd as well. They weren't totally ruined after a year, but they were really low on tread and they had horrible cupping. I will say that I should have rotated them a bit more often, but considering how short of a time I had them I can't imagine that was the primary issue.

Yeah hard to say, I’m not a tire pro by any means but the way I rotated every oils change, about 5k miles and maintaining about 32 psi worked well to keep my tread life solid.
