Anyone know if i might need to shampoo my hair at all? I bought a 2in1 shampoo + conditioner (sulfate free) and ive been using that 3 times a week during a shower (for 2 months now). Im 6 wondering if its even necessary since the guy in the video didnt mention anything like that in stage 0 & 1 (the stage im on).
Guys drink at least 2-4L of water too! Drinking water helps keep the moisture in your hair for a longer time, but if you need to pee every 17 minutes, you should considering getting more potassium in your body. Foods and drinks for potassium includes potatoes, bananas, and orange juice! Otherwise, Kozact, everything you said is definitely well said!
Also don't forget to drink wild hair growth oil
@@chadsmith6028 but you can’t physically drink the wild growth oil 😂 unless your joking

For everyone in that beginning stage I just encourage you guys to stick with it. PATIENCE IS KEY. And all this advice kozact is giving works. But just be patient and I promise you’ll thank yourself down the road

Not you uploading this when I needed it, OMGGG
Just in time 🙌🏾
Watched your channel throughout my whole hair journey. Your advice helped my hair grow much longer much faster and I’ve recently gotten starter locs. Thanks a lot! 👍
Nice
Thank you brother you helped me out alot with a few of yours videos last year with my afro journey but i had cut my hair but now im growing my afro back out its been 5months for me using wild hair growth 💯💪🏿
Wild growth needs to sponsor this guy
My problem is with detangling my hair. Cuz leaving it alone is definitely not an option and detangling once per week is also not enough cuz I gotta go to class and I can't be looking all crazy.
Try curls
buy a bonnet
2 strands of braid it
get garnier frauctis curl air dry cream, then rake it through your hair downwards and once it dries detangle upwards
I’m glad I found ya channel bro🎉thank you
Thanks bro i really really want dreadlocks so I was planning on getting a Afro then getting dreadlocks luckily I found you bro am going to buy these products luv man
Amazing content 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
You make a lot of informing vids but this one for sure is needed. No one’s talks about what to do in different stages at all. Your the first, keep going bro your content is getting better

Guys also use gel if ur hair is big enough to be styled, use gel it helped me with my hair growth but not everyone’s hair will do the same. So use styling gel and just use it everyday until ur hair is too big for it like mine. 👍
Hey Kozact, how's it going ☺️, so what shampoo and conditioner you use before you apply the Alikay lemongrass leave in and the Alikay Shea Yogurt? Thanks for the video I'm trying to find some really good products for my hair, and for hair growth, I love the 2 strand twist styles and cornrows, what products do you use for your 2 strand twists and cornrows, what would you suggest?😊

Me who got an afro a few years and only dry picked it out until last year: this looks interesting
Honestly I only use water through the years and I get it braided obviously use oil but when it’s out I just use water nothing bad happens to my Afro it’s just soft and fluffy 😁🙃
Did you use a bonnet during your whole journey

i’m somewhere between stage 2 and 3, hair’s kinda long but a lot of shrinkage as it’s 4C. i don’t know whether the lengths you corresponded to each stage are like pulling your hair straight (actual length) or just letting it be and basing it off how long it appears to be when all curled up. i’d say stage 2 though. some problems i run into though are even sleeping with a bonnet or silk pillowcase i’ll still wake up with my hair feeling dry no matter what products i have in it because when i sleep my hair gets flat and it just ends up being all matted together and stiff in the morning. that compounds the issue of trying to grow your hair whilst also maintaining a neat look, i then have to comb my hair out to make it look neat if i have to go somewhere, or even if i’m not going anywhere i feel like i should comb it out in the shower so it’s not all dry and matted together, i try pulling it out gently with my fingers before combing it but i feels dry. so basically my issues are, sleeping flattens my hair, hair still feels dry even with products and a bonnet, and i HAVE to comb my hair out often. can you or anyone in the comments who may have had similar issues especially when it comes to sleeping, tell me how y’all got over that hump. i feel like the definite best method is protective styles but i don’t do them often because that’s another thing i won’t get into right now because of the length of this comment.
I am in the same predicament, I have tried a lot of things leave-in or mist water before sleeping or sectioning my hair.
None of the things work because of the shrinkage. I feel this a stage that a lot of people don't talk, I know we all have different hair but almost nobody talks about the morning dry shrinkage...
At this point, in my case there are 2 things I can do, better nutrition and drink more water and protective styles. Like you protective styles is not something I can do all the time (for work and cultural reasons) but I really think this our only option because of our shrinkage we need to keep our hair straighten so it doesn't encumbers our progress and create breakage
if anyone have any solution, I will gladly accept it.
Get a blow dryer with a brush attached to it.
Same predicament.
I have grew my hair out multiples times this is normal. I’m in the same process too where I wake up and my hair is matted and it feels dry sometimes. Best thing to do is get a silk pillow case so it won’t take out all of your moisture in your hair. Also just spray your hair with water when it feels dry and matted when you wake up.
Just cut my dread’s ready to begin my Fro Journey
This really helped im at stage 1 and i just got a haircut but now i know to tell my barber i want a LINE UP AND A FADE THAT IS IT DONT TOUCH MY HAIR
Low taper
I told him to cut the tips of my hair but guess what he cut a bit way too much sigh
am in stage 2 ain’t getting a haircut till Jan 2024 can’t wait to get them braids SHEESH 😤🦍
How was it
Close enough, drop the album frank.
I want to grow my hair back when I get out the marines. Trying to get my braids back.

Hey Kozact I just purchased two bottles of the famous wild growth hair oil I’m going to try it. When it comes out on Wednesday
I definitely recommend, wild growth for sure is one of my favorite oils… and nice to hear from you Michael 🙌🏾
Kozact how old r u

Could u do a video on different styles of Afros
NOW WE DREADLOCK THIS SHIT!!🔥🔥
Havent seen much content on how to massage your scalp with braids in
Examples of you doing the steps would be great
Been growing my hair for 9 months nd its been stuck at stage 2 since month 5
Oil conditioner and more oil is crazy but my hair is also between 4A and 3c 😂😂
I am done trying to get waves now knowing I need an hard brush and soft and medium to damn much just to have waves going to Afro
Wild growth Doo growth and caster oil mix it in to one bottle give it 4 months and don’t forget to style it too
the part when you said about leave in conditioner, do i have to use the leave in lemongrass condition and shea yogurt? or just one of them?
I feel like I’m stuck in stage two and can’t get past it any tips
Type of video you wish you found sooner 🙌🏾🔥🔥
I started of with 2 strand twist. Now I'm doing braids. My hair is so long now that I can put my hair in a bun
That a dream
Im just scared of stage 0 bruh I cant be walking around bald af already did that shit once cant let that shit happen again😭
💀💀💀💀💀
My hair grew a lot
I’m first
I trying to grow my hair out so wanted to know whether you have to restart because I have a high top right now and want an Afro
Aye bro Is it good to use a pick to pick my hair up or fluff it out instead of picking it all the way out
hey man this video is great for me, ik this comment is late but should i be putting in conditioner every day when i massage my scalp too? or every other day when i put in the oil?
oil every other day bro, massage everyday too, condition if hair is dry
i just trimmed my hair so much and it’s still 7-8 inches😭 shrinkage man
0:56 😂😂
I just spammed cornrows for 2 years now my hair mad long😂
So for stage 0 and 1, every other day youre putting oil on your scalp, massaging it in, putting leave in in your hair, then putting oil on your hair. But on the in between days what do you do? If youre doing it at night what do you do to your hair in the morning? How often to wash your hair? A lot of unanswered questions in this video
nah frl bro im stuck asf asw
Thanks man 😊 I have 4a/4b type hair just like yours but way shorter 😅
How do you get the fluffy part like you have in the video now? I have a lot of hair but its matted, however if I wash it, it becomes fluffy; once I pic it out obviously. Howd do you maintain it?
Comment for algorithm
In stages one and two. How did you protect you’re hair, while wearing caps and winter hats etc…?
Anytime I wear hats, I’d either wear a durag underneath, or I would wear a hat with a silk or satin lining to it
@@kozact im assuming durag for braids and satin liner for afros?
L I K E 👍 👍👍👍👍 💯 ❣ 💯 ❣ 💯 🥰 🥰🥰
I'm stage 2
prolly gon take a year and a half for my hair to get to stage one on the thumbnail 😭
if you don’t need to pick your hair everyday then how do you get it from not looking a mess when you wake up without picking it out?
Like bro that’s what I’m trying to figure out, they keep saying comb it once a week then how do I prevent my hair from looking like a mess on the other days?? Do they just wake up and leave the house without doing nothing?
@@idontevenknow741water and leave in
he has a video on that i would recommend you watch it
@@idontevenknow741
Man I pick my hair every morning and it hasn't stopped my hair from growing at all. The thing is just don't dry pick always wet your hair and don't pick from the roots pick from the ends on down and you'll be just fine.
Stop listening to these hair gurus get dreads and pick them out these niggas give false info at that rate it will literally take like 3 whole years of maintenance
😂 I did all 4 just from undoing my braids!
is it chill if my hair is curly as hell in the first stages, or should I be trying to detangle it early, even before stage 3?
First
putting oils directly into your hair as you suggest isn't good for people with low porosity. because it doesn't absorb so it just sits on the hair and causes buildup.
Yep. That's why twice a week is good enough for my low Porosity hair
How would I style my hair to make it look nice and round without picking it? I’m in between stage 2 and 3 btw. If I don’t pick it and just use my fingers it always looks rough and nasty asf lol.
I used to be addicted to picking my hair lol, since the pick makes it look neat and have more volume. But it's not worth it since it causes breakage. I know using your fingers doesn't look as good as when you pick it, but you just have to bare with it. Reduce the times you pick your hair per week, and cut it down from there
@@_quixote Alr my brother I’ll take your advice and reduce the picking. Yeah I mainly do it because it makes my hair have more volume and gives it that nice round look but I can definitely see breakage every time I do it. Might just have to deal with the and buy and beanie and caps for now because I hate how it looks so much when it’s not picked I look homeless man
just pick gently and for like 2 minutes
love this man no homo
Thanks for the love, I love you too bro i appreciate all the support ✨
Kozact bro i wanna to ask you which shampo will i use and how to use for this product pls reply
On stage 2 rn
These may be buggest Questions
Do we wash the Conditioner off.
When im skipping a day of oiling do i/can i wash it on the skipped day
nah frl idk asw
Im in stage 2 and bro its a stress 😂😂
Any advice for someone who's hair has different textures and doesn't grow evenly?
I can't help you with the texture part but find yourself a Barber who knows how to trim afros. I usually trip my hair every 3-months and it helps even it out
When i was on 2nd stage its hard to keep your hair in shape
3:40 How many times a week do I use the leave in conditioner?
