God has open the door to heaven by paying a heavy price of having his one and only son, Jesus to suffer and pay for the punishment of our sins. Salvation is just a simple act of believing in Jesus is the son of God and accepting his finished work on the cross is enough to save us from hell. People go to hell because of their own choices because they have chosen not to accept God's free gift of salvation and tries to justify themselves with their own good works to earn their own salvation.

Repentance isn't a work, it's the same as seeking after God. It's the same as obedience after faith. We can't save ourselves by works but we are redeemed for good works for the glory of God. Just like we are expected to respond to the Gospel.

Anybody trying to keep a law even one for salvation a add in to the cross has to complete the whole law. And as we know not one is rightounes in the flesh. In other words they go to Hell. • @adamfatalis7619
      @adamfatalis7619 Před 2 lety +3

@@chriswood7165 no I'm not, salvation is by grace through faith in Christ, I have never said anything otherwise. Repentance is required for faith because, as you said, it means changing ones mind about their belief in Christ. If repentance is changing ones mind, then not repenting is not changing ones mind. But instead of explaining that and leaving it there, you would rather say repentance isn't necessary and confuse anyone who is new to the faith. Of course repentance is work, it's a work of God to change a man's heart towards God for salvation. No one is saying go do good works or you will go to hell, that's you saying that by assuming that's what reformed believers teach. Tell me a Christian who doesn't sin. You can't, they all sin, but does that mean they should give up and give in to sin? No, it means they look at the law, see they aren't saved by works, turn to Christ for salvation and then obey Him. Obedience is not work. Besides that Jesus said himself the law wasn't done away with, it will remain because it is a reflection on God's character and a reminder that we could never keep it perfectly while we remain on this cursed earth in these cursed bodies.

Quick: How many of us, when asked this question, would start with "well, let's first make sure that we both understand the meanings of the words we're using, shall we"? Hopefully, and especially in today's current world system where words are being redefined almost day-to-day, the answer is: EVERYONE OF US. Most people have not done a deep-dive into does God exist, and what is God like. They just accept that "smarter people" have done the heavy lifting already, and adopt their views, or create their own "personal" eclectic view based on the most appealing parts from several "smarter people".
This video provides an excellent explanation to the posed question, and demonstrates the importance of getting everyone "on the same page" in order to hold meaningful discussions.

So I have some challenging questions for y’all. If God is all knowing right? And God gave us free will right? So if God gave us free will and knows that we will sin regardless if we believe or not. Why are we being punished when He knows that he gave us those desire’s? That’s like babysitting a child and telling the parent’s of that child that you’re going to show them Adult Content and expecting the parent’s to not be angry. Or to visually see their anger. If God knew that some people would NOT make it to Heaven due to free will. Then why have free will? Why NOT make everyone only make positive healthy decisions? Why create us at all? Wasn’t Earth intended to be this perfect sinless paradise to begin with?

    • @KingPingviini
      @KingPingviini Před rokem +2

God does not give us sinful desires.
God created things which had free will. That means creatures which can go wrong or right. Some people think they can imagine a creature which was free but had no possibility of going wrong, but I can't. If a thing is free to be good it's also free to be bad. And free will is what has made evil possible. Why, then, did God give them free will? Because free will, though it makes evil possible, is also the only thing that makes possible any love or goodness or joy worth having. A world of automata of creatures that worked like machines would hardly be worth creating. The happiness which God designs for His higher creatures is the happiness of being freely, voluntarily united to Him and to each other in an ecstasy of love and delight compared with which the most rapturous love between a man and a woman on this earth is mere milk and water. And for that they've got to be free.
Of course God knew what would happen if they used their freedom the wrong way: apparently, He thought it worth the risk. (...) If God thinks this state of war in the universe a price worth paying for free will that is, for making a real world in which creatures can do real good or harm and something of real importance can happen, instead of a toy world which only moves when He pulls the strings- then we may take it it is worth paying.

So would I. Fortunately, and contrary to popular opinion, hell won't last forever.
Here's how it will end for you, for me, and for everybody:
... at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue *confess* that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Philippians 2:10-11)
...every knee shall bow to me [God], and every tongue shall *confess* to God. (Romans 14:11)
Turn to me and be *saved* , all the ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other. By myself I have sworn; from my mouth has gone out in righteousness a word that shall not return: To me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall *swear allegiance* . Only in the Lord, it shall be said of me, are righteousness and strength; to him shall come and be ashamed all who were incensed against him. In the Lord *all* the offspring of Israel shall be *justified* and shall *glory* . (Isaiah 45:22-25)
In the first two verses, the Greek word for *confess* , _exomologeomai,_ is also used by Christ to praise His Father in Matthew 11:25 & Luke 10:21. It's never used in any verse to mean forced praise, which is what many are forced by their theology to argue it can mean here. The implications are enormous.
The righteous will inherit heaven, while the unrighteous will first have to spend some time in the lake of fire being punished and purified (Rev. 21:7-8, Malachi 3:2-3, Rev. 22:14-15,17c), before being saved.

@Matt R. how does a criminal pay for his crimes? By going to jail. After the criminal served his punishment in jail, he has paid for his crime and no longer a criminal. God cannot make sinner righteous without first clearing us of all our sins. And in order to do that someone has to pay for our sins. So God sent his one and only son, Jesus to take all our sins and paid for them on the cross by death.

Hi can help with someting, i got in a debate in a about salvation i dont know how to response can you help me here the text:
"Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God."
Notice HIS SEED REMAINETH IN HIM meaning the Holy Ghost is in his body, which means that while the Holy Ghost is in a body, nothing unholy can be done with the body, which means that "Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin" means that sin is possible, but ONLY when the Holy Spirit leaves the Christian who is about to backslide, because God knows the future, and he won't accompany a sinner in their sin.
That was chapter 3 of 1st John.
But in the PREVIOUS CHAPTER, it says:
"My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:"
So there is no contradiction. We just were missing the doctrine of God's Spirit leaving the body before sin takes place, which is implicit and supported by many Scriptures such as the ones saying the Holy Spirit left Samson, or left Saul or that David feared being abandoned by the Spirit of God. Again: "Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me."
It isn't that the Spirit would come back after the sin act is over. He leaves forever unless there is repentance and God grants them another opportunity.
"And she said, The Philistines be upon thee, Samson. And he awoke out of his sleep, and said, I will go out as at other times before, and shake myself. And he wist not that the LORD was departed from him."
"But the Spirit of the LORD departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the LORD troubled him."
God isn't evil but he uses devils for his own purposes, like he did Pharaoh.
"I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit."
"Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned."
When a Christian sins, they are cut off from God's family, and no longer born of God, but rather, born of SATAN (again)! God adopted them, but they chose to go back to their original family.
    ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS.
"He that committed sin is of the devil"
    ERGO NOT BORN OF GOD.
Maybe they used to be a real Christian, but then they stopped being children of God, because only those who obey God are children of God.
So the one doing the sinning is someone not born of God. You can call them a "Christian" but they're not following Christ, since SIN is the OPPOSITE of following Christ. So they are heretics, frauds, hypocrites, and Pharisee-like. Jesus hates these people the most. I was this way.
If they were a real Christian prior, they would have disinherited themselves by rebellion, and entered into Satan's family again by doing as Satan wants them to do.
Peter was a follower of Christ. But when he backslid, and told Jesus to flee death, Jesus called him not just a SON of Satan, but SATAN himself!
"Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter?"
Neither can the spirit of a sinner (EVIL SPIRIT) and the Spirit of Truth inhabit the same vessel.
"Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil"
So the Spirit of God cannot be in the body of a man claiming to be Christian but who is inside of a prostitute!
God does not participate in sin.
He is not the companion of fools.
"whosoever sinneth hath not seen him; neither known him."
"we know him, if we keep his commandments"
    In other words:
Whoever sins has not kept his orders.
Jesus says: "I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love."
So Jesus says you can choose to abandon Jesus if you originally loved him. IT IS POSSIBLE TO LOSE YOUR SALVATION. JESUS SAYS SO IN REVELATION 2:5.
"Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent."
So knowing God is something you can forget.
"Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God."
"He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love."
"If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us."
So if we STOP LOVING, then God NO LONGER DWELLS in us which means LOSS OF SALVATION (if we had it before).
"Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit."
"Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him." It says neither known him, because they FORGOT him! They did not know him when they sinned.
"For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old"
People can choose to forget what they know.
"If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love."
Jesus says it is possible to stop abiding in his love. This means salvation can be lost.
God won't save those who refuse to obey him.
"Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.
"If" means it is possible to rebel even as a Christian, and that means beocmign Jesus' enemy, and his enemies do not have salvation.
This is the only interpretation I can see that fits all verses well, and not just the ones you cherry-picked out of context.
And this is why no one cares about my message, and everyone is against my echoing of God's Word:
"If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you."

Christians don't lose salvation. Salvation is an act of God. God keeps Christians from falling away from the faith. Those who don't believe or "stop" believing never did so in the first place.
Paul wrote about Christians and sin. Jesus conquered satan and death but we still live in a cursed world with cursed bodies. Sanctification is the growing of the Christian towards sinning less and less until one day we are free from it due to the heavens and earth being made new and us recieving our glorified bodies.

The wages sin is death, the soul that sins will die. God won’t force eternal life on anyone. God will not to immortalize sin by giving unrepentant sinners immortality, that’s why he sends them to hell. It’s because God is love that he will put an ultimate end to sin and suffering.
Daniel 12 speaks of two resurrections, the second one is for the unrepentant sinner. This implies they’ll be alive when cast into the lake of fire after the white throne judgment of Revelation 20. That’s where God destroys both body and soul in hell with fire that he sends down from heaven itself. Malachi says the wicked will be ashes under our feet, so that means we’ll be walking around on the place they were once burning before. It’s also interesting to note that Isaiah 33 says that the saints are immune to God’s fiery presence.

The majority of the unbelievers ive ever known dont want to go to hell and they think heaven sounds beautiful and would love to go there but just are not convinced its true. They are not willing to say they believe something they dont just to avoid a consequence of something they don't believe. Wouldnt it be loving for God to open their eyes like He did mine or yours? I cant boast in my response to God just as i cant boast in any of my preference or desires or beliefs because I never chose them. You cant choose to believe something if it doesn't sound true to you. I think the problem here is our concept of these afterlife states that someone who would give their life to save a stranger but isnt convinced the bible is true is going to be judged the same as a wicked human being. Not to mention we will be in heaven with knowledge grandma is in hell with Hitler and we will be rejoicing like "sorry bout your deal grandma". *"God* has committed all to disobedience that he might have mercy on all ... From him and through him and to him are all things." (Rom. 11:32,36)
"The creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but *because of him* who subjected it in hope, because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God." Rather than suffering an eternity of torment which believers (grotesquely) insist is the only just punishment for disobedience, Jesus suffered for a mere three days on a cross.
How does this begin to make any sense as any kind of "sacrifice"?
The idea of unbelievers sending themselves to Hell is also complete and utter slop. I'm afraid believers don't get to sugarcoat the Gospel by making it seem as though "God does not want anyone to perish." To begin with, how would anyone in their right mind actually choose to suffer an eternity of torture? It's completely absurd. Secondly the Bible god could (if he wished) choose a more humane way of punishing unbelievers by simply wiping them out of existence, but no. The Biblical god doesn't do humane. He prefers instead to keep them alive to suffer conscious torment for all eternity
(I guess believers see this as an example of God's infinite love for his creation!!).
Lastly the 2nd Book of Thessalonians chapter 8 verse 1 tells us that "Jesus will punish those who do not obey the Gospel... They will be punished with everlasting destruction [how destruction can be anything but everlasting is anyone's guess!]."
I'm sorry but the God of the Bible is an absolutely brutal monster and anyone who disagrees is either thoroughly immoral or wilfully deluded.
Thank goodness for ALL of us that this foul creature is nothing but a figment of (very nasty) men's imaginations.

Hell is translated from four different words in most popular English translations. What do each of those words mean? Well, they don't all mean the same thing that is for sure. Also, is the word translated "eternal" as in "eternal punishment" or "eternal life" translated accurately? Most times it is not. The greek word "aion" and its various forms should be translated "age" or "age-lasting". What I am getting at is that the idea of "hell" is very misunderstood. One reason is bad translations. These bad translations have created "traditions of men" which have been carried down through the generations. However, there is a dark source for these traditions, and that is that they are actually "doctrines of demons". The truth is that God is the savior of all mankind. He will save all eventually.

Another problem is if God gives us the ability to choose with him absolutely knowing what eternity is like, I feel as though it puts the curse of immortality on us solely because he has the ability to do so. Its similar to how I have the absolute ability to murder someone but that does not make it right to do so. Why? Its another human life and even if that person did something terrible that does not mean he deserves such a cruel punishment such as death, and if he did there is no way he desires a punishment so horrible as an everlasting eternity of suffering.

Lay it in Our lap that it's All our Fault & ex-communicate even non-violent souls to be tortured by DEMONS instead of making them live lives in Duality till they get it right..or want to make their way to The Creator ? God is Eternal, yet Judgement so Harsh, is Final & Forever !!! Why not then take the essence of the conscious mind of the souls & reboot the system for them. The All Knowing, All Powerful God of EVERYTHING deems it fit for Souls to continue to exist in suffering, but EVERYONE'S ok with this ?! No matter how you slice or dice it, IT'S MESSED UP. . . I kind of like the Story of The Prodigal son, who could come back to be loved again & to love again. People still have feelings in Hell.. They Still have Love & want to be loved. But it's final... I remember hearing from a preacher (I wish I could remember who) that "sending" a person to hell is, itself, a loving act, and in a variety of ways (I only remember two ways, though). 1) A person who has never bent his/her knee to God in this life would not be able to enjoy Heaven, because he/she would retain that selfish nature. (This point suggests further that these people would do their best to make heaven unpleasant for those who have come to Christ in this life.) 2) A person in hell has not submitted to the one who is the authority of authorities, but hell will allow those in hell, as much leeway as the nature of Hell can allow, to live as they want to. They'll never be able to enjoy it, of course, because---let's face it---Hell will never be pleasant.

      What is heaven like?
If there is no sin in heaven, Are you you in heaven or are you a different person.? Your character and personality on earth dictates who you are. Do you change your personality and character thus becoming someone different.?
What do you do all day in heaven? Do have dinner parties, play sport or do you just "bend a knee all day to god". Again which god.
Why does and all knowing, all powerful being need worship in the first place?

    • @ajmittendorf
      @ajmittendorf Před rokem +2

@@possumm1702 Thank you for your questions. I'm not going to respond in the order you sent them.
Which god am I speaking of? That's not the most brilliant question to ask. Not even Islam offers an eternal hell as punishment. But, clearly, I am discussing the biblical god, whom I believe---for many reasons---to be "the one, true God." As far as which Christian God, again, it's not a very pertinent question. All Christian religions, even Catholicism, with all of its many doctrinal flaws, see Christ (the Biblical god) as "the one true god."
Now, "If there is no sin in heaven, Are you in heaven or are you a different person?" The answer is both and neither. Eternal life begins while we are on earth. It beginning does not "wait" until we get to heaven. However, when a person becomes a Christian, Scripture teaches us, "Everyone who is in Christ is a new creation. The old has been destroyed, a new being has begun." (pardon my paraphrase). So, the old person ceases to exist from the point of a person becoming a Christian, but that "new person in Christ" is fully alive in heaven. I think this also responds to the next question about a person's character and personality, but in sum, we do become new creatures but only while on Earth.
What do you do all day in heaven? Excellent question! The Bible is not entirely clear. It mentions a few things, but, in principle, I would say, that we will enjoy peace and freedom such as no one has ever known. But eternity does not end with heaven. The Bible teaches that we will be in heaven only for a brief "time" (for want of a better term). There will be a seven-year period on Earth known as "the tribulation" when God pours out his anger on the inhabitants of the earth. Most of all life will die. Only a few people of the current 7.5 billion will survive. After the tribulation, Christ and all Christians shall return to earth for 1000 years. Christ will rule during this time. It still won't be Eutopia, but it will be well-governed and maintained. During this time, Satan will have been chained in hell, but he will be released at the end of that 1000 years. Shortly thereafter, under Satan's leadership, humanity will once again attack Christ, at which point (as I understand it) all of creation will be destroyed. here there will be another brief time for Christians in heaven as Christ makes "a new heaven and a new earth." We shall spend the remainder of eternity on that new earth. Very little direct information is given as to what we will do on the new earth, but, extrapolating from various passages in the Bible, I surmise that life will be filled with scientists, explorers and artists, and I use these terms in the broadest of all senses. As much as we do now, we will have all of eternity to explore the new creation, but without the many various challenges that we have in this life. There will be no more death, so, assuming that there will be space travel then, it will be much safer. Art in all genres will be amply enjoyed, and all the flora and fauna (animals and plant life) that we learn about here and which will likely be far more abundant then, we will be able to know and study, but without the natural fear of people then that animals have now.
Finally, about non-believers not having seen any evidence of god, the response is quite harsh: Scripture teaches us this:
18 "But God shows his anger from heaven against all sinful, wicked people who suppress the truth by their wickedness. 9 They know the truth about God
because he has made it obvious to them. 0 For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made,
they can clearly see his invisible qualities-his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.
21 "Yes, they knew God, but they wouldn't worship him as God or even give him thanks. And they began to think up foolish ideas of what God was like. As a
result, their minds became dark and confused. 2 Claiming to be wise, they instead became utter fools. 3 And instead of worshiping the glorious, ever-
living God, they worshiped idols made to look like mere people and birds and animals and reptiles.
24 "So God abandoned them to do whatever shameful things their hearts desired" (Romans 1: 18-24a).
There are TWO principles at play here. ) Every person has been exposed to evidence of God in all that has been made. In other words, All of creation makes God's presence very clear. It is only people who do not want to be accountable to God or who do not want to think of there being such a deity who choose to not see the evidence that abounds before them. e are deceived, yes, but we are also willingly deceived so that we are "without excuse." However, if you have difficulty seeing the evidence AS evidence, you have the benefit of calling out to God for either wisdom or insight (or both) to see that evidence because He WANTS you to recognize it.
      2) In each person there is an innate understanding of God. It is only when we ignore what we are already given to know that we become deceived, but again, God also wants everyone who will believe to believe. Therefore, you can ask for help in that area, even before becoming a believer.
I am convinced that the God of the Bible is the only god. I have no quandaries or reasons to wonder about that, and my reasons are strong enough that I have written about them in an article that will be published online in the fall. In short, however, the point is this: The God of the Bible is utterly unique when compared with the gods of other "religions." Not just that he is the only god in Judeo/Christian theology (because Islam is also monotheistic) but because he is a God that cannot be imagined by any human, regardless of how creative a person may be. The God of the Bible is so unique that he surpasses Allah and every other God ever "conceived" in the human mind. And since the god of the Bible cannot be imagined, then he must have been revealed to us. But who can reveal such a magnificent god other than God himself? The answer, obviously, is "no one." So if no one other than God can reveal himself to humanity, it stands to reason that he revealed himself to humanity. And, if he revealed himself to humanity, then he must, necessarily, exist.
      Did I forget anything?
Again, thank you for your questions. I hope my feeble answers provide you with some of the answers you were looking for.

@@ajmittendorf hi AJ(not sure what to call you). Thanks for your responses. You mentioned that the evidence is everywhere. You mentioned that all of creation shows god's hand. Does the creation of all the diseases that cause untold misery and suffering and in some cases ultimately cause death show gods hand? Is god not all powerful and knowing that nothing happens without his approval? He deliberately created organisms that cause this earth misery. ( please don't come back with god is being cruel to be kind because that is bull.). Does the creation of the Guinea worm,by God, that causes the the infected severe pain show the majesty of god? God created the earth for man and then filled with things to kill man. How do earthquakes, hurricanes, volcanos, tsunamis that kill millions of people every year show the love that god has for man? Again god created the earth to operate exactly as it does knowing exactly that the hurricane would kill those people.
Does the millions of starving children shows the evidence of the loving god when he could have not allowed those to be born in the first place knowing that they could not be cared for and would die horribly. The evidence shows that a creator either does exist or does not care. Not accepting your evidence has nothing do with me not wanting to be accountable.
God is the all knowing creator yet he creates things that he knows will end badly. God created man knowing that they would fail and that he would regret creating them and drowned them all. He created us poorly and then said I will just drown them knowing full well it would not change man's sinful nature that god created in the first place. He then looked away whilst Noah and his family had sex with each other's wives and mother to populate the earth. How does Genocide and supporting incest show moral behaviour?
Your passion for your god is no less strong for the Muslims as their argument's to show their god is the one true god as they don't believe your god is the one true god anymore than you believe theirs is. If you were born in a Muslim country which god would you believe in????? It would not be the one you believe in now. Your believe in your god is based on your location and how you were raised. There are exceptions but they are minor.
Other than creation evidence which is not convincing what other evidence do you have?

@@possumm1702 Hello again. A. J. is the name I go by, but I won't tell you what it stands for because I've never been a fan of my full name.
I can tell by your question and the passion that it exudes that you care deeply about the concerns of the many hurts of the world, and I share that concern. You hint that you understand the cause, but you gloss it over again, so perhaps you don't fully understand the ramifications of that cause. I shall try to be brief.
When God created the world and its life, he declared that they were all "very good." He did NOT create them with the hazards that they now have. He gave dominion of the earth to Adam and Eve (and yes, I do believe that they are historic, factual people). He also created two specific trees: the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, then he warned both that, should they eat from the second tree, they would die. (I know that such a warning doesn't seem to fit the severity of the actual outcome, but remember that we're reading a summary, not an intricately detailed account. There are other parts that explain in greater detail.) Then, like all of us, virtually every day/hour, Adam and Eve chose the wrong tree and did so quite intentionally. Yes, they were both deceived, but the account in Genesis suggests that they were spending increasingly more and more time closer and closer to that very tree whose fruit had been forbidden.
Because God had given those two the authority over the earth, their choice---NOT God's---created all the horror of life on earth. They died instantly on a spiritual level, and years later they died physically. Had they not sinned, they would still be here, and earth would still be the paradise that God had intended. You see, God promises humanity, both then and now, "... I set before you life and death, blessings and cursings. Now, choose life that you and your offspring may live." The hazards and hurts of this life are the fruits of our daily choice that we inherited from Adam and Eve. And you can't claim that you would have done better because you have the same opportunity every day, and like all the rest of us, you fail. Had you been Adam or Eve, you, too, would have partaken of that forbidden fruit.
But God doesn't stop there. Because of our choice, life on this side of eternity became of "God's Image Manufacturing Company." We are here only to reproduce, both physically and spiritually. That is consistent with God's original commission for Adam and Eve: "Be fruitful and multiply." But God sent a Saviour to take away THE ETERNAL consequences of OUR sinful choices. We can no longer choose eternal life for this world, but then, who would want to? Eternal life on this earth with all its hazards and sorrows? No thank you. Indirectly, Adam and Eve caused our lives to be around a century on this life, but Christ made it possible for eternal life after death. He said, "I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he may die, yet shall he live." Because of our potential eternity with him, God is decidedly less concerned about the hurts of this life because there is no loss we can suffer that he won't correct in eternity. There is no wrong we endured in this life that won't be made right in eternity. Further, it's not that God is UNCONCERNED about our suffering. In one way, when we hurt, he is right there hurting and mourning with us. But in another way, God also says, (MY wording, not God's), "Suck it up," because, as Paul says, "The sufferings of this life cannot compare to the eternal blessings" of eternity.
So God is not absent. He wants people to make a choice for him. "Choose life that you and your offspring will live." Christ is the Tree of Life for us. Rejecting him---not choosing to believe him---is "that other tree," and the choice of "that other tree" is still eternity, but in hell. Everyone who rejects Christ by not believing in him is making a choice that will lead to eternal sorrows that will make life on this fallen earth seem to you like the paradise that you crave.
In sum, God did not create the sorrows of this life. He made it all to be "Very Good." It is we--you and I--who have made it what it is. We have inherited that aspect from Adam and Eve, and that makes more sense than you might think. Adam and Eve died spiritually after that first sin. Ergo, all of humanity is spiritually stillborn because what life can be literally born from the dead? But you and I still have the same choice that Adam and Eve had. All we have to do is pick the right tree, and to do that, all we must do is proclaim that we believe that Jesus is God and that he became human so that he would be able to die, and then he died in our places so that we can live eternally.
Now, you asked a couple of other questions that I want to address, but my time has run out. I shall address them either later tonight or tomorrow morning. Until then, I wish you well.

This is a quote from The Sapiential Discourses Universal Wisdom Book 11 all there is, was, and Ever Shall Be through Elliott Eli Jackson. Two Life-Altering lies: two of the most notorious, outrageous, flagrant lies that became accepted ideas, are the notions that there is sin and one must repent. We add here that it was, in fact, these two misgivings that begot and provoked all of the fear that is present within your world today. follow, please as we explain the process of FEAR
Armed with this misinformation, these two misgivings that most of you received the mental portion of your being went into shock, thus the mental began to filter the information to the emotional portion of your being. which could only be confused. here is the reason why: Frist the rational the rational portion of your brain knew, intuitively through its connection with the spirit or soul, that it was misinformation, As a result of this you, as the thinking being that you became fell subject to guilt and shame. this occurred because you were told that the information was coming from some reliable source who knew what they were talking about and that you could trust them. this, in itself, brought about a certain lowering of your vibration. You were in conflict between the spiritual and the mental.
Now, this cycle of lies went on for literally hundreds of thousands of years, so billions of you became stuck in unnecessary low self-worth, low self-esteem, self-doubt, and a general state of spiritual confusion. These lies, are transferred and processed by your mental, caused you to think or believe that you had done something wrong. You were told that you were born in sin and were thus just sinful, and therefore you, all of you, needed to appease and repent to us for your mistakes so that we would approve of you and forgive you, then much to the shiver of the universe you were told that if you called on one name, we would forgive you. You were told this is the only way. why, why, why would we do this? We absolutely would not and did not cause something as such to be a way back or the only way back to us. But that is what you were told by so-called learned ones, so you ran with it. As a result, you now have on your planet a bunch of people who are confused. You or they are confused, as we stated because the spiritual portion of you knows that you have never done anything wrong, only made some decisions that may not have been in your highest good or the highest of others.
Due to this, many, throughout time, have committed suicide and the like, thinking they would never be forgiven and would burn someplace after death for their misdeeds. therefore, Why even try to do better? many thought it was really a lost cause. A lost cause, that is, unless you accepted what they told you about how to get us to forgive you. A great travesty for our beloved you!

You know if God was loving he might have stuck the fallen Angels in a place of paradise away from the rest of creation instead of putting them in a horrible place... I mean as a father.. when my children fight I don't favor one and punish the other... I just give them both a break from each other and try to teach them a way to coexist... This is simple wisdom.. who knows.. maybe even the devil might have seen this is such a kind act and eventually would have repented... His issue was jealousy... Maybe even coupled with some narcissism... I don't know what fully happened behind the scenes but maybe God could have let him know how much he still loved him... As a loving parent we never want our children to feel like one is more favored than the other.. I don't know maybe I'm wrong because maybe God is just all knowing and saw all possible possibilities and pick the most excruciating one.. and then again God knows both good and evil too.

It doesn’t matter how good you are. Unless you ask God to forgive your sin and save you, you will remain under Satan’s rule. You decide which side you want to fight on. To me, it’s a no-brainer: God = heaven, Satan = hell. Choose carefully.

These are fine mental gymnastics, but I fail to see how any of this justifies an infinite punishment for a finite sins. Not only that, but it took you a while to completely change the entire nature of the question to even answer it.
"God is love so whatever he does is rightous."
That's great, but doesn't address the question when that's the entire presupposition that's being challenged, it seems like you're going off the assumption that we already agree with you.
    David Counts the Fighting Men
    1 Chronicles 21
1 Satan rose up against Israel and incited David to take a census of Israel. 2 So David said to Joab and the commanders of the troops, “Go and count the Israelites from Beersheba to Dan. Then report back to me so that I may know how many there are.”
3 But Joab replied, “May the Lord multiply his troops a hundred times over. My lord the king, are they not all my lord’s subjects? Why does my lord want to do this? Why should he bring guilt on Israel?”
4 The king’s word, however, overruled Joab; so Joab left and went throughout Israel and then came back to Jerusalem. 5 Joab reported the number of the fighting men to David: In all Israel there were one million one hundred thousand men who could handle a sword, including four hundred and seventy thousand in Judah.
6 But Joab did not include Levi and Benjamin in the numbering, because the king’s command was repulsive to him. 7 This command was also evil in the sight of God; so he punished Israel.
8 Then David said to God, “I have sinned greatly by doing this. Now, I beg you, take away the guilt of your servant. I have done a very foolish thing.”
9 The Lord said to Gad, David’s seer, 10 “Go and tell David, ‘This is what the Lord says: I am giving you three options. Choose one of them for me to carry out against you.’”
11 So Gad went to David and said to him, “This is what the Lord says: ‘Take your choice: 12 three years of famine, three months of being swept away[a] before your enemies, with their swords overtaking you, or three days of the sword of the Lord-days of plague in the land, with the angel of the Lord ravaging every part of Israel.’ Now then, decide how I should answer the one who sent me.”
13 David said to Gad, “I am in deep distress. Let me fall into the hands of the Lord, for his mercy is very great; but do not let me fall into human hands.”
14 So the Lord sent a plague on Israel, and seventy thousand men of Israel fell dead. 15 And God sent an angel to destroy Jerusalem. But as the angel was doing so, the Lord saw it and relented concerning the disaster and said to the angel who was destroying the people, “Enough! Withdraw your hand.” The angel of the Lord was then standing at the threshing floor of Araunah[b] the Jebusite.
16 David looked up and saw the angel of the Lord standing between heaven and earth, with a drawn sword in his hand extended over Jerusalem. Then David and the elders, clothed in sackcloth, fell facedown.
17 David said to God, “Was it not I who ordered the fighting men to be counted? I, the shepherd,[c] have sinned and done wrong. These are but sheep. What have they done? Lord my God, let your hand fall on me and my family, but do not let this plague remain on your people.”
How is it just to kill 70,000 of your own rightous followers when it was David who had displeased you and he was personally unaffected? Why does he continue to allow the devil to decieve his people then punish them for their ignorance of the deception? Adam and Eve is an even worse example, for the Tree of Knowledge is what made them fully conscious of right and wrong, they were innocent as children. With that in mind, why allow the greatest deciever of all to not only infiltrate the garden but to also decieve two people who didn't even have a real concept of deception and never encountered such a thing before? And then to punish their descendents for the rest of time to live in a completely doomed and corrupted world and to live out miserable existences because of it? I fail to see any of the logic behind any of this.

We know that all those who died believing in God before the death and resurrection of Christ went to Abraham‘s bosom, and all those who die believing in Christ, go to heaven.
No matter how nice, or good, someone is, Scripture clearly states that, “ALL have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, and that the wages of sin is death.” (Romans 3:23)
“There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”(Acts 4.12)
I also know a lot of nice people, but if they die having rejected the Gospel of Jesus Christ, they will most certainly perish. It’s not a matter of being good or bad, but a matter of being saved or lost.

We can believe anything we want. You can believe that everyone will go to heaven, you can believe that we will all move to another plane of existence, you can believe in little green men. However that isn’t going to make it so. I’m sorry to burst your bubble but we are not that powerful. God is the the one that created everything, all matter, time and energy. He alone created the stars, planet’s, the sun and all of the cosmos. He breathed us into existence. But don’t believe me, read the Bible. It is still the most popular book ever written for a reason. You see there are a couple of certainties in this world as my dad used to say, there will always be death and taxes. Yes, we will all die. It’s where we go after we die that should be of great concern to us. Because any of us could die at any minute of any day. I personally want to know where I’m going after I die. I don’t really like surprises that much. You see when you ignore what God’s word (the Bible) and decide what you want to happen, well it’s sort of like playing Russian roulette with your eternity. Now, you can tell me I’m wrong. No problem, I’ve had many people tell me that. Of course the only way we will ever know for sure is when we die. Now suppose I’m wrong about the word of God, again no problem, I cease to exist. But suppose I’m right I go to heaven and reign with Jesus and you go to the lake of fire to burn for eternity, never dying and never getting out. One thing I’ve learned from reading the Bible is that whatever God says he will do, it’s as good as done. He doesn’t make false statements and never gives false threats. So believe what you want. But please at least read the Bible first. Don’t you owe yourself the truth. I suggest starting with the New Testament in the book of John.

Context is key. Moses is credited as the author of the first five books of the Bible. In the first book Genesis, in chapter 3, God clearly states that through the woman a seed would be born that would crush the serpent and in return have his heel bruised. This is the first telling of the Gospel and one that Moses would have been well aware of. All saints from the old testament are justified by looking forward towards the promise of the one who is to come who will redeem God's people.
Edit: Don't let your salvation hang on an assumption.

I'm genuinely curious why and how your faith is so strong? I'm a believer because I've seen too many miracles in my life to not believe there is a higher power. But I'll also humble myself and admit that no one person can know everything. And I worry about and pray that I'm not being deceived.
I also was a history major and am extremely pragmatic. So when I hear something like John 8:7 was not in the original scriptures, it forces me to question what else was added and why. Or when I hear that there is no historical evidence of a mass exodus in Egypt...I wonder why that is. Was it covered up? Were there less numbers of people than was described?
My point is that I can understand why some people have a hard time believing. Especially if they haven't been blessed or if they haven't had a particularly good life. I worry about them if what you say is true. I worry a lot about Jews who don't accept Christ as the Messiah. I worry about Catholics who worship of mother figure as the pagans did. It’s so pathetic watching people try and sugarcoat and explain the unexplainable… Dude the first card in the entire house of cards is who created the tree of knowledge of good and EVIL!!?? God created the tree of knowledge of good and EVIL and put it into our reality on Earth. The sugarcoated long, winded explanation that you’re trying to give about God is love, and the absence of love is what separates us from God blah blah blah, is just pathetic way to explain the unexplainable. If God created everything that means God also created evil, clearly stated in Genesis that he created the tree And put it on earth therefore God created evil from the very beginning. Explain that one away. This means evil existed before we ever disobeyed God to begin with. Furthermore, it’s a copout to lay blame on our free will, and that we send ourselves to hell and God doesn’t. Nice try. Who created hell? Who determines what the consequences of our sins are? That would be God. So indeed, according to the Bible, God sends you to hell. My dog can disobey me and I can decide whether I take my dog out back and put a bullet in her head or I forgive unconditionally, regardless of her disobedience. The consequences for my dog’s actions/disobedience are only for me to decide/enforce. To say that there is some sort of cosmic contract, or God’s hands are tied because he is only love and therefore we have to be tortured for eternity and separated from him is not biblical and completely lying in order to promote your religious truth.
To summit up: God created evil and put it on the earth, God sends you to hell to be tortured for eternity according to the Bible therefore, God cannot be only love according to the Bible and Christian religion

Up until about 500 A.D., Christian beliefs about hell were reasonable and beautiful. The prevailing view then was that hell (the lake of fire, actually) not only punished but also purified the unsaved. It was temporary -- each person's finite punishment would fit their finite crimes (sins). (The Greek speaking early church fathers knew that _aionios,_ the word that is mistranslated as "eternal" in our English Bibles, doesn't really mean "eternal.") Once a person's punishment and purification were complete, he or she would go to heaven. Everyone would eventually make it into heaven and be blessed, with heavenly rewards varying by person, based on the lives they led.

They shall therefore suffer punishment for a short space, but immortal blessedness, having no end, awaits them; ... the penalties to be inflicted for their many and grave crimes are very far surpassed by the magnitude of the mercy to be showed them. The resurrection, therefore, is regarded as a blessing, not only to the good, but also to the evil." [Isa. 57:16], *Diodore,* _De Oecon_
"Some among the wise and learned … have alluded to this in an enigmatic way, by adducing that God is not only just, but also merciful, and that it becomes the One who judges with justice to have sinners suffer in a measure that is proportional to their sins and then make them worthy of blessedness." -- *Theodore,* _Liber Scholiorum, 2:63_
"'All the kings of the earth shall adore him.' Some, indeed, in the present life willingly, but all the rest after the Resurrection; for not yet do we see all things subject to him, but then every knee shall bow to him." [The "kings of the earth" are rebellious unbelievers in Rev. 6:15, 17:2,18, 18:3,9, 19:19,21 ... but check out what happens in Rev. 21:24-27!] -- *Theodoret,* _On Psalm 72:11_
"Death shall come as a visitor to the impious; it will not be perpetual; it will not annihilate them; but will prolong its visit, till the impiety which is in them shall be consumed." [Matt. 5:26] -- *Jerome,* _On Micah 5:8_
"After the complete abolition of sin, praise shall be sung to God; which praise contain (implies) our being incapable of turning to sin ... when every created being shall be harmonized into one choir ... and when, like a cymbal, the reasonable creation, and that which is now severed by sin ... shall pour forth a pleasing strain, due to mutual harmony. Then comes the praise of every spirit for ever abounding with increase unto eternity." [Psalm 150] -- *Gregory of Nyssa,* _On Psalms, Tract 1, ch. 9_

The first fallacy is that there is a god. The second fallacy is that the Christian god is love/loving. Joshua of Nazareth might have been loving, but the god of the OT is a genocidal maniac. Murdering all the first-born boys of Egypt after you interfered with the free will of the Pharaoh in order to prevent him from letting the Jews go just to have the excuse to murder them is sick and sadistic. Good thing archaeology has shown the whole Exodus story never happened.
This whole video sidesteps the real question. If god was loving, no one would suffer. The free will argument is BS. An omnipotent and benevolent god would have created people so that they always choose good. If you say, "That's not free will!" then you acknowledge that your god is not omnipotent--it cannot create a reality with both free will and everyone choosing good. If you say your god could, but chose not to, then you admit your god is not benevolent--it is okay with torturing people for eternity for its own screw-up (or worse, intentional flaws just so it can torture people).

I have to give you the thumbs up on that... No one sees the sense in these things or arguments or facts about when and where these books of the Bible were comprised and composed and put together. If these were Prophets or what we call today psychics who heard from an entity that called itself God and protected these people as long as they worship him and kill All Nations around them because they're the chosen...how benevolent is that ??? If this story is true then living in Egypt would have been depicted as living in hell being tormented everyday versus living with Jehovah and getting possible judgment dealt to you everyday but if you kill every last woman, child & take all of the spoils of their lands around you that would be a plus..& not too different from what other nations did...except other nations usually spared lives & integrated with them..Also... I thought Jesus said that the god of the Jews was the devil a liar and a murderer since the beginning... Wasn't that god Jehovah? The One who commanded that they Kill, Rob , Destroy & Offer up blood ritual sacrifices which reached to his nostrils as sweet incense ?! 😳 I'm all for Jesus... And the Creator who is Love.. it just doesn't make sense that Jesus was the son of the other guy who had the people in constant fear of his wrath.

      It's not murder.
Definition of murder is unlawful taking of life.
But there's no law that prohibit God for taking out life.
God is author of life, He gives it, so He can also take it, if he wants to.
God does not punish for mistakes, but for continuous rebellion.
Murderer that keeps on murdering, is not making simple mistakes time after time, it's continuing choice, not "Oops, my I stabbed another person with knife again. Oh well, it's not big deal, happens to the best of us, just small error."

If God took the sinner upon death and wrapped him in his loving embrace..... You think that soul wouldn't want to spend the rest of eternity with God ????? Especially after the hard life that soul had here?? That soul could get a chance to hear it from the Creators mouth...You think if God said here's my son Jesus I know you weren't sure if he was my son but here he is.... That this Sinner wouldn't say okay, cool thank you so much Jesus !!! And that Confused hurt wouldn't want to be in heaven with them forever. with Love ??? Why do you have to be in flesh to accept this if it be the truth which we cant be totally sure of because this world is full of lies and full of inconsistencies and contradictions of all sorts... The Earth is a library of f**kery stories & myths... Yes I even believe that atheists in their hearts believe in some way there has to be a god and I'm sure most of us on this planet can agree that there is the creator of everything.... So god is love..... so are you saying that god committing genocide in the flood is love? Is god allowing women to be raped is love? Is god allowing millions of children to starve every day is love? Is supporting that homosexuals to be out to death is love? Is creating man so flawed , that he (being all perfect, powerful and all knowing) knew would end up being sinful and then having regrets that he created them in the first place and then decided to wipe them out or commit genocide (sorry repeated that one as it is a big one) is love. And then after wiping out all of man kind god allowed incest by Noah and his family to regenerate the human population.....is love. And then after wiping out the whole human population as there was too much sin all the new humans don't commit anymore sin....no we are just a sinful ( which god knew that would happen as he is all knowing) so he committed genocide for nothing. And he needed to correct is mistake again and send his only son to die for us.......which is now solved the sinful nature of man....no...has it...no it hasn't. So we are still sinful and not perfect....so how does a sinful none perfect being get into heaven again without being forgiven......and if we can be forgiven then why dies god need hell?????

I'm NOT surprised that nobody answered you on this as they accept something written so long ago... How God had/has regrets does indeed PROVE incompetence & imperfection.. The Fact that God can never change It's nature Proves he cannot willfully Evolve as was expected of Creation. Whatever happened to Live & Let Live ?? Our Nature of greed was inflicted on us, otherwise we could all live in Harmony & found our own way without tyranny.. That's the Freewill gift given, Right?! Mathematically how can Light be light without the existence of Darkness. Ebb & Flow - Push & Pull... Black hole pulls photons within it's gravity & there you have a sun !!! To completely wipe out those who didn't have the Freewill NOT to exist...NOW have to exist in torment, instead of experiencing the rest of Eternity, evolving until they could be worthy of All Lives Lessons to merge with their Creator.. THAT sounds Benevolent, JUST & exercising Perfect patience and unconditional love... 👎 How does a perfect God exhibit regret ?!?! Since we all exist in timeless space why not let All Souls evolve and choose to travel where they will as their free will sees fit??... Without punishing them for eternity which isn't very JUST or Loving. This ideology sounds much like Communism... Conform or be destroyed !!! How f***** up would it be if All Souls chose their own free will and were sentenced the eternal torment every last one of us ?! That would be impossible because of the laws of average thereby proving how sadistic it was to create Souls that would eventually perish an eternal torment.. as was said in matrix 4....and you call this a choice ?!- Morpheus... And if God transformed into the universe would it not become neutral to let all of creationism experience its own free will without discrimination ??? Why must it be from one extreme to the next... If we were the higher perfected life forms and we're allowed to be so and saw unto the future of any mistake we could make then we simply would avoid it but this is being kept from us. This to me is another flaw.. even mathematically doesn't make sense or sound

Jesus will return after Jerusalem gets nuked by the abomination which causes desolation mentioned in Matthew 24.
4 I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They[a] had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5 (The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years.7 When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison 8 and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth-Gog and Magog-and to gather them for battle. In number they are like the sand on the seashore. 9 They marched across the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of God’s people, the city he loves. But fire came down from heaven and devoured them. 10 And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
31“When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the [c]holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. 32All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. 33And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. 34Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; 36I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’
37“Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? 38When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? 39Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ 40And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’
41“Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: 42for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink; 43I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’
44“Then they also will answer [d]Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’ 45Then He will answer them, saying, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’ 46And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”
Jesus is the only created being of God. Through Jesus ALL things were made.
5For even if there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth (as there are many gods and many lords), 6yet for us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and through whom we live.
♾️ Infinity is closed loop because the beginning is the end and the end is the beginning. God is the singularity responsible for the big bang and according to the many laws of conservation that singularity had to be equal to or greater than all of the mass, energy, and information/intelligence in the universe, past, present, and future combined. And since things are neither created of destroyed, only transferred or transformed, this means God became the universe. God is omnipresent, omniscient and omnipotent. God is everything everywhere.
Jesus must reign until he has defeated all of his enemies.
    ALL Power, Dominion, and Authority...
Then the last enemy to be defeated is DEATH itself. Then he will return the kingdom to the Father, so that God may be ALL in ALL
The Lord says to my lord:[a]
    “Sit at my right hand
    until I make your enemies
    a footstool for your feet.”
24Then comes the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power. 25For He must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet. 26The last enemy that will be destroyed is death. 27For “He has put all things under His feet.” But when He says “all things are put under Him,” it is evident that He who put all things under Him is excepted. 28Now when all things are made subject to Him, then the Son Himself will also be subject to Him who put all things under Him, that God may be all in all.
The Earth is HELL in the future. It gets hit by an asteroid and pushed toward the sun.
    Isaiah 13:12-13, Revelation 9, 2 Peter 3
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be [d]burned up. 11 Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, 12 looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? 13 Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.
The New Jerusalem will take the best of humanity and the glory of the nations to a New Earth.

Bogus. Even if people send themselves to hell, so to speak, God allows it. So the question isn't why does God send someone to hell but it's rather a two-fold question. 1) Why does God allow someone to go to hell BUT better question than that - 2) Why doesn't God just not allow people into heaven? Why not there be the presence of God or not be in the presence of God? Seems like if heaven were the best of the best, the most beautiful place you could be then missing out on that for eternity would be punishment enough. Casting people into a place of torment and torture for eternity seems a bit sadistic when the other option is that when you die you just no longer exist. You are dead in every sense of the word. That is my 2 cents.
