Though I know you'd like to get all the sales on offer, it makes the budget seem more realistic to me when you make choices about what you can afford when the budget is tight. There is no shortage of great food in your home, and you're doing a amazing job of sticking to the same budget when grocery prices have gone up so much.
Nice to see Shawn embracing his inner child as he and Rebekah played on the swings in the photo at the end. What an amazing father! The boys room looks lovely and fresh as does the sewing room. This time last year the completion of the summer kitchen looked quite away off but to see how quickly it has come on with the help of your great CZcams channel is just wonderful. I overreacted because some people won't respect their boundaries and continue to hound them about it. I apologize for directing this to the incorrect commenter. Those others know who they are.
@@lanatrapp1589 I think some extra prayer on your part would be appropriate!! How is reminding people to respect others boundaries hate? Prayer and self awareness can be very good tools for growth. I don't believe in hounding someone about expressing their boundaries and asking they be respected. I believe that goes along with Christ's teachings. I enjoy sewing and I store my small-ish pieces of fabric wrapped around comic boards (you get them in packs of 100 at the stores that sell vintage comics, they are special because they’re acid free and won’t spoil the fabric).
Large pieces are on the rolls that they came on.
I keep my thread in a metal filing cabinet (the ones with the really thin drawers) - the boards with the spikes on look nice, but the thread gets spoiled from being exposed to light and are difficult to clean if they get dusty, so can damage your machine and snap a lot.

Janice, what i would love to know about ur food HAULS. The likes of your cheese, how does it keep so long, how do you store ur cheese? Even the fruit you would buy, do they not go off if you do monthly shops??

We used most of our grocery money for meat on sale this week. Vacuum sealed it and it is stocked. Yay!

Janice, Don't feel too badly over the watermelon. We purchased one at Walmart last week and it was so very underripe there wasn't a drop of juice in it, it wasn't even pink....more white/yellow. We had to throw the entire thing out in the compost. I was devastated. My husband pucked up on at Sam's Club when he stopped in a couple of days ago. I just cut into that one and it is AMAZING! The second I cut it in half I could smell the sweetness and the juices began to flow.
That's my Janice! Even when she makes a mistake, she still comes out ahead 27 cents!!! LOL! I'm glad the 2 chicken tractors are coming into some extra good use this year!! OMG, the ducks are sooo big already, they really grow fast! The upstairs of the summer kitchen is so beautiful!! You guys did such a fantastic job with it!! Don't worry about hopping around in the video, that made it even more interesting!!

Our Walmart has plastic shelves things that are closed in that could be used for storage for materials. I have 2 and use them for my jigsaw puzzles and lots more.

Have a great Mother's day!!!! My Aldis had butter 1.89$ a pound!!! Was not in flyer. Boy did that make me happy!!! I also bought the mini cucumber bags. At my local supermarket the butcher was marking down 80/20 ground chuck. 3.00$ off coupons. I paid 2.00$ a pound after the coupon. I cleaned them out!!! 😀

Our meijer here in Ohio had strawberries, blueberries any blackberries for 99 cent's . They have had a 1.00 sale for the last couple week's. You bet we stocked up well.

my walmart in Canada had bread 94 cents and butter $4.94 which i bought food basics honey crisp apple 2.98 oranges 1.88 mango 67cents and lastly no frills corn on cob .33cents each so i stocked up on my fruits as i love them celery was 3 bucks last week then this week at giant tiger was 1.88 remember these are all in Canada hugsssssss

Hello Janice how are you doing ?? That was a real good deal on the cheese . I did buy some cheese from walmart but the price was a little higher and the salad greens was also higher in price . It looks like everything is going up in price again if this keeps up i will be eating just rice and beans for lunch and supper. The food prices going up this has to stop so many are hurting for food.
