Sometimes when i feel making a knife and when it is finished i show it here.

Knife making - Sheath for a knife
The music in this slide show is way better than my sheathmaking :)
But every knife need a sheath and this simple made sheath does the trick.
The only thing that is awsome is the plop when inserting the knife you hear plop so the fit is splendid.

Shipment lost.... help!!! And then located in Helsinki. finally to its final destination. Knife making - Condor Kephart blade

I found a Condor Kephart blade on eBay and bought it for €15 When it arrived i was i little surprised how small the blade was and how terrible it was finished in the factory. I found two Karesuando hunter blades on eBay and bought them. This lauri skinner is made some time ago for a friend (Rudi) The knife is back for sharpening. The blade was used during hunting. I used a waterstone 1000 grid for 15 min then some 1000grid sandpaper with water to get is polished en a final stropping on a small beltsander and self made hand strop. It is razor sharp ready for some deer. The video sucks i know ......

if you make a mistake, it's worse if you make the mistake a second time I'm a little pissed off but but beyond that I finished the knife and am very pleased with the handle that is very comfortable. I have a solution to my error, I'm probably going to make a second bolster but that's more a cosmetic reason. nevertheless it is still a good knife. Beautiful knife and work. One thing I'd consider changing about this knife, it would be making it a full tang instead of skeletonized.
A hunting knife that cuts paper for a minute and a half I don't think flatters him. A razor's edge can easily take a coca cola cap. The point of the hunting knife is to maintain its edge and that is where the difficulties begin.
What are the red paper things between the bolster and wood? Also why did you have the bolster in a press on the blade at first? Was it to glue it on or something?

Waanzinnig coole stove man! Denk je dat het mogelijk is de schoorsteen van 150mm naar 100mm te versmallen onderweg zonder dat de schoorsteen niet meer werkt? Heb een 100mm doorvoer naar buiten voor kachelpijp, dus zou wel goed uitkomen als dat werkt....enig idee?
Met het juiste verloopstuk is dat mogelijk en als het niet te koop is dan gewoon zelf maken van een 120 of 150 stuk pijp

What gauge of barrel is the best
If I were putting that much work into a knife, I'd start with something much better than a stock Mora 345. There's not much point in polishing a turd.

I made mine, and I ordered some sweet zebrawood scales just for it, and than I went and split the first one within 5 minutes, so I ended up using a scrap peice of mystery wood from and old chest I had.
