Knife making - Lauri PT skinner 95mm

Last time i made a skinner i found the handle a little small for my hands.
This time i made it a little bit bigger and the model a bit bigger.
It fit my hands perfect...
The handle is Ebony wit a pice of moose bone

What are the red paper things between the bolster and wood? Also why did you have the bolster in a press on the blade at first? Was it to glue it on or something?
