Hi, is this car cheap to run? How much was the servicing after 3 years? The insurance seems a bit costly. How much do new brakes etc cost. The MPG seems really good for the power it has. Wondering if it's the same or cheaper than a Focus ST to run?

The service plan is worth every single of the £800 it costs! Now that the servicing costs has gone up. First service is £311.46 (ish) second is £591.69. So after 2 x services you have already made your money back! :D

Everyone shitting on this has never driven any of the new BMW cars. I was the same ykno I also thought that the new panels were absolutely disgusting and it lacks the cockpit feeling. But after driving one I changed my mind. I wouldnt want it any other way now.

I picked up my 128ti on Friday. On Sunday, I had a 218 mile drive, of which 200 mile were either motorway or DCW. I managed 58mpg. Not at a stupidly low speed either. Ranging from 65mph to 70 depending on gradient. Must admit it was in Eco Pro mode and it was a bit of a game. But I am shocked, pleasantly, by its economy.

I just changed my car from the analogue to the digital, i must admit I preferred the analogue display, my husband prefers the digital, the tiny fuel gauge is hardly worth having 😢

Very interesting👌 I regularly complete a 420 mile round trip. 210 miles each way. Driving progressively it takes 3h 15mins for the 210 miles. Driving economically, 67-70 mph on cruise control it's only 3h 31mins. Only a saving of 16 minutes. But, the fuel saving is enormous without the fatigue, danger or risk of points. In honesty, I like driving quickly, but in the right circumstances. In my own weekly round trip I, like you, get a bit of a kick from the efficient numbers game. Incidentally, for the long round trip I use my Astra K, 1.6cdti 136bhp. Normally I achieve on this trip between 76 and 80 mpg. Loved the video. Keep em' coming. 😉🏁👌

Thanks for doing a comparison between the Live Cockpit Pro and Plus. Should I ask my dealer for a refund if they delivered me a car spec with Live Cockpit Pro but the car end up having Live Cockpit Plus (paid $900 USD for an option that did not end up in the car)? I already paid for the Premium Package and its absurd they charged me extra for it. Are there other menu options that can be shown from BC other than mileage, MPG, media, sport display, G meter? Like calendar, recent directions, tire temp?
