A 2009 convention doll (Reproduction of a 1959 Barbie Doll) with outfits made from the drawings on the debut Barbie Box in 1959 that were never made for production, unlike the other drawings that all had catchy names and were staples in Barbie Cases everywhere for many years. Thanks for looking.

My 1959 Barbie in a Box Costume... I was doing a quick video before loading it in the car and noticed that I FORGOT to paint the brown shoes for Golden Girl and Evening Splendor, so I had to get the paint and brush out to do the shoes and didn't have enough time to re-do the video. JAM S - Are you are not on Facebook? There are so many Barbie groups with many men in almost all of them. You’ll find Barbie groups of every kind from vintage, Silkstone or the newer playline dolls like Fashionista dolls. Any doll you can think of there’s a group, or many groups for each genre... too many at times. I personally collect the early Barbie years and some of the made-to-move newer dolls, where articulations is key to story telling. And apes king of story telling, there are diorama groups where the creativity is off the charts fantastic. I can’t even keep up with the groups and the themes some have to inspire group members to post photos of their dolls in fun fashions or settings. Best to you!
@@barbieshelf I was on Facebook but I got off of it about a year and a half ago. I, like you collect the early Barbie clothing and dolls. I just love them. The problem is I don't have any friends who share my passion so I am alone when it comes to collecting. I enjoy it but I would really enjoy it with people who have the same drive to find that special Swirl, #1, or MIB/NRFB Bubblecut. It is fun to have people to share your collections with.

This is a 2009 Convention Doll. The Bathing Suit - Blue dress with White Jacket were all on the First Barbie Box and never produced for sale. This is a limited box set that I found on eBay - It is highly sought after. Another outfit printed on the original box was also not produced for sale, it was the Peach (or Orange) colored dress and was also a 2009 Convention Doll. Voyage in Vintage. Thank You for your nice comment and liking a couple of my videos! While I was putting this video together the Muvee program Crashed, but I re-did it and this is the out come. I was working on another video from photos I took years ago, and again it crashed! So I gave up. I thought it would have been better than this video. You have great Barbie Videos (and other things) I found saved on Your Channel - I Subscribed - Everyone should check them out !!!! Zero Calories LOL
