Why is the watermark in the start has 2022 and not 2024?

Your company's games, my family and I really like them, especially Too many bones. I think most good games like this have a problem with language barriers, they should be translated into my Thai language very much. I hope that one day I will have the opportunity to fill and break the language barrier.

Just cracked it open (was rather intimidated and had a move since delivery) and it’s become my favorite solo Euro game. Once you know it, the solo upkeep just flows easily. No fiddly automa or anything.

Great stuff Mark (and CTG). Can't wait for this to arrive.

Demoed this at GenCon yesterday. And totally blown away by it. It lived up to my expectations. Great video too, there were several things that I now understand much better!

YESSSSSS so can not wait for this to arrive. Visited CTG last fall and the Prototype was set up, and even that was just beautiful.

I have played this game so much. I picked up the hunter's arsenal too and rotate my hunters. Probably played 40-50 hours.

There are a TON of tokens and a craft box helps a whole lot when it comes to setup and teardown. Rules-wise, there are a lot of terrain rules and icons you need to learn. Once you get past that, it is a very enjoyable game to play. It just requires a lot of time to learn. The villains and heroes are a lot of fun. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is really good, as well (pretty much a reskin). Fun review, like always!

Two questions I have about the solo rules. @18:30, you buy and sell some resources. Is that a rule specific to the solo game? I play-tested the solo game a few months ago, I I thought that occurred during the resolution phase of the game. Maybe I got that rule wrong then as well ;) Second question, @27:28, the automa takes the workbench action. You also pull your worker from your workbench. In the multiplayer game, these were independent of other players choosing to perform the action. Has that changed as well?

I feel you Mark with ISS Vanguard, from a game I gave strong 9 to a game with 5/10 after 30 hours. I ultimately hated planetary exploration but loved ship phase.

I just purchased this one at a very low prices (opened but unpunched). I believe there is a revised - better - rulebook on BGG. I got a French version, and so i printed the enlish one from there, and after having watched a few videos, the rulebook seemed perfectly fine. Haven't go it to the table yet though. But in any case, weather someone likes this one or not, Troyes is definitely worth playing, It shares some DNA with Black Angel, but it is a very different game.

Thanks for doing this. I do enjoy 20 Strong, but not sure the Tanglewoods theme is doing it for me. Need to play 20S TMB and 20S Hoplo more.

Hey Mark. Would you still suggest S&D as an essential purchase? I have base + undertow + age of tyranny and am considering this rather than getting the 40 days/waves packs

Lol I liked the tag at the end of the video. This is an important video on the game. It gave me a pretty good idea of how the game would play solo. Though I think I might play this 2p more than solo, unlike Distilled. That one excells solo.

Thanks for this preview, Mark! Great coverage and explanations as well as insightful opinions. The timing is great as I'm currently trying to choose between backing this or Ada's Dream and the campaign for Ada's Dream will end before this one begins. I really like the look and feel of this one but wasn't sure how good the solo mode would be with blind bidding as the main mechanism. Sounds like they worked it out pretty well. Also, thanks for the heads up on Tom's playthrough. I'll look out for that one!

Great photos of andromeda's edge, the hype can't be constrained! Fateforge: Chronicles of Kaan delivered in Australia this week. Already played a game with my SO on a weeknight, who usually only pays video games! It was a hit for it's simplicity to be unpacked, played, packed up in 75mins for a first play. Really excited to adventure some more in the world they've created.
